Another Fallen Hero!

1 Comment 19 December 2006

Kristin Veitch from E!Online talks about another hero’s death and relationship between Claire and Peter.

From Michael: Heroes?
You heard it here first, people: Another Hero is going to die before the season ends. Place your bets in the comments section below!

From Pauline: Please, more Heroes!
When I was on the set this week, I noticed a big, fancy prison set, and Masi told me we’d find out what it’s for in episode 12 or 13. It did not look like the cell that Peter was in, so I’m intrigued!

From Carie: Tell me the rumors of Peter and Claire possibly being siblings and never getting together are false. You have to agree with me that these two have the most chemistry of all the Heroes, and it would be a tragedy for them not to leave things open in the future. Thanks so much!
Sorry, Carie, but they will not get together. Trust me.

Heroes vs. Lost

Heroes vs. Lost

Jason Matthews, from TheJay.com, compare two greatest show on TV side by side.

When the pitch on Heroes first crossed media lines, the buzz was unkind. It was immediately deemed a Lost rip off, which at the time seemed spot on. The two shows have a lot more in common than you might suspect.
They both have:

 • A plot revolving around a group of strangers coming together to figure out how to cope with their new situation in life.
 • A one-named title with a double meaning
 • A multi-racial, multi-ethnic cast of beautiful people.
 • A slew of the same type of characters: self-righteous male lead, mysterious older white guy that has all the answers, resident slamming hottie, seemingly unnecessary blonde bombshell, middle eastern guy with emotional baggage, Asian couple with translation problems, kid with special powers and a bad dad, long-haired bearded rebels and of course, an all-important set of numbers.

He wrote about all of characters but the number stuff is greatest!

More Interesting Set of Numbers
Lost has “4 8 15 16 23 42″, a set of numbers I could care less about, despite how powerful Hurley, Locke or Damon Lindelof would like me to believe they are. On the other hand, Heroes has “8/21/07â€? the date of Hayden Panettiere’s 18th birthday, which is a set of numbers I’m sure we can all agree are far more exciting.
Advantage: Heroes

Tim Kring about Zach!

2 Comments 14 December 2006

AfterElton.com published a article about how Zach being straight suddenly. Heroes creator Tim Kring talked back about this,..

Tim Kring I am very sorry this has caused concern for the readers of your website. It was certainly not our intention to confuse the issue of Zach’s character being gay. We have too much respect for our audience to do that intentionally. However, it has simply become too complicated behind the scenes to push this issue further with this particular character. We apologize for misleading the audience, and wish that we could have handled things better on our end. But making a TV show is often a very imprecise business. As you stated, Heroes is a big, sprawling drama and there is no reason to believe that a gay character will not be represented on our show in the future. It is my hope than we do, we do it with honesty and dignity. That will certainly be our attempt.

New Hero on Heroes!

No Comments 13 December 2006

Jessalyn GilsigWe know about Claude, The invisible Man, is joining to crew. But except Claude, we may have a new female hero too. Guys from SpoilerFix thinks that, this new hero might be played by Jessalyn Gilsig, who is formerly played Gina Russo in Nip/Tuck

New character alert! A new female hero is joining the cast for a mini arc, and this person’s power is unlike anything we’ve seen on the show so far. All I’ll say is, she’d come in very handy on Survivor. – Ask Ausiello
She will be playing Claire’s biological mother, and I also hear that she will have a power of her own. (via Kristin & via Rob)
