Looks like after a though break-up with Milo Ventimiglia, Hayden is trying to convince producers to kill Peter for good. Various sources confirmed that she was refusing to be on the set with him and make it very difficult for everyone else. Thank God, Heroes Season 3’s final scenes shoot last week and we’re about to complete production period.
The “Heroes” starlet is trying to get her co-star – and recent ex-boyfriend – Milo Ventimiglia kicked off the show, according to OK! magazine.
Still upset about their break-up, Panettiere, 19, reportedly wants nothing more to do with Milo, 31, says a mutual friend.

I know that if they kill peter off they lose at least half their fan base and if they kill off claire they might lose a dozen horny teen boys but will gain a few fans back due to them stop watch due to claire’s annoying “i wanna help” thing. Peter over Claire any day. The cheerleader can be replaced with any other young female body to make the boys get turned on. She doesnt have such a good body anyway. If Peter gets killed Im not watching this show anymore.

I do like both characters but if Hayden is giving them an ultimatum then I agree Kill the cheerleader… save the show. Peters character is great. If they kill off Peter, Hero, Ando or Sylar I will stop watching the show.

Hopefully the producers will come to the same conclusion that Milo did. They are better off without Hayden. Plus who wouldn’t want to see HRG go all Liam Neeson from Taken after someone kills the Cheerleader. They could even string it on for several episodes, having her fate hang in question, while Noah hunts her down.

wow what a bi*ch. if they killed peter off the show i would be pissed. Claire has nothing going for her on the show and im sick of her story lines. its the same thing every year. oh now she helps people get away? big deal peter’s the man and i wonder what the ratio of peter fans to claire fans there are? get over yourself hayden, he has every right to be on the show as you do. and he’s more interesting on the show.

Actually, I like Claire as a character WAY more than Peter. Peter is far too difficult to relate to, and the show needs to keep someone who has access to a ‘normal’ life. All the superpowers and mega corporations and government intrigue really just takes away from the likability of any of the characters too heavily tied to them.
Although I wouldn’t be horribly upset if Monica and Micah became the “new claires.”
I disagree. The “normal life” of Claire hasn’t been in her storyline since Thomas Dekker left the show. And dropping her in a comic store as the “snicker bar on a fat farm” is so 1989. I see more girls working in comic stores and video game shops all the time. And did you see aqua boy? He was totally ripped. That’s not realistic.
All she does is play the angsty, defiant teen again and again. never does anything. Peter has at least evolved as a character.
I agree, comic book and computer game shops have very hot girls these days.
But getting to the point! That is totally true, Claire just has nothing going for her now (she hasn’t for a long time) and I think if Hayden is the one kicking up a fuss she should be the one to go.

What I find offensive is the fact that people think that this is news and use it as an excuse to talk trash about Hayden. Regardless of opinion about her acting ability or her character (both on and off screen), this story is a hurtful and potentially damaging piece of gossip, started by the ever-present “unnamed source.” Call me naive, but I am much more inclined to trust the word of one of our actors and our showrunner over some source who doesn’t even have the courage to make his or her identity known.

Are you kidding? Hayden must really be giving “it” willingly if they can keep her on the show for THAT long. Lately, she’s done nothing but ruin the show’s good vibe…I think she’s the one who needs to go. Her character’s annoying and isn’t going anywhere. GOSH…if anything she should definitely be killed. Can’t they get rid of Claire like they got rid of Maya, you know, quietly and without any major dysfunction…..GRRRRRRRR…..Besides, there’s no show without Sylar, Peter, Nathan, HRG, and Hiro. Sylar’s the bad guy, Peter’s the good guy, Nathan’s the crazy guy, HRG’s the knowledgeable guy and Hiro is the funny guy…period

Peter always was the best character with Sylar, they are impossible to replace. If Claire wants somebody out, she’ll want somebody another out, and another, and another. She’s not in charge. I hope Samson will take Claire’s power and then shoot her in head, so she wouldn’t regenerate… Then Samson will have an epic fight with Sylar – episode “I am Sylar” is the best for this fight. Show must go on!

Don’t sleep where you work. I had a feeling something like this could happen when they started dating.
The Claire character has offered nothing to the show since season 1. She is a whiny little immature teenager both in the show and real life. Plus killing her off would offer a new storyline for HRG and possible expansion on the Sandra character. The HRG and Claire storyline has been stuck in a perpetual cycle of “I want to be normal, but I want to save the world” since season 1, killing off Claire would offer a change in pace.
Peter on the other hand has been a central character to the show. Killing off peter wouldnt offer much for change to the show. His mother isnt an essential part of the show, and the relationship with his brother isnt something that would be missed much.
Basically kill peter show loses a star and gains nothing, kill hayden show loses a detriment and gains story.

Peter is way more important to the storyline, he’s the very first character. If anything Claire’s “I can’t die, but I can’t really be useful” attitude has been more annoying than anything. She was good in Season 1 and that’s it.
I’m with the mob on this one, save Peter save Heroes. It’s time we move on from sad little cheerleader and her daddy issues.
