I think they did and they are desperate. Glad to see this site back up.
I don’t think so. True they need to gain their backbone again, but they still have their intrigue wits about them, so I think they’ll be fine for another…. 2 seasons?
Also, I think the kiss is a cover up for something more on the part of her roomate, not a Jump the Shark tactic. They’ve done that kind of stuff before and no one’s cried Shark, and they’re still going strong…. ish.

i don’t think heroes can jump the shark. it had a pretty unreal premise to begin with, so i think they can do whatever they want…
Heroes jumped the shark, killed it off, brought it back to life with a drop of Claire’s blood, killed it again and forgot that Claire’s blood would bring it back to life, put the shark’s mind into Sylar, killed it a third time and lost the shark’s body in the future and never resolved the dangling plot thread.
