How about that Claire shoots future Peter? I mean, do you really think they would get entirely rid of Peter? Maybe somebody came back from the future – probably Peter – to kill Claire = scar, and future Claire found out and went to kill him or something… No one wants to be dead:p
You all thinking too much into it. Id you pay close attention there is a green screen in the pics meaning its footage done before any of the visual fx are placed in. The one guy is future peter easy to figure that out… the other is probably the stand they have for present peter. So its possibly future people talking to present people. Or it might be a completely brand new character.
my guesses:
claire shoots nathan (perhaps aiming for peter)
peter goes evil cause he wants to save the world
he painted the end of the world (he is the only one that can paint future now, or isaac painted it long ago but i doubt it cause its not the same timeline)
could be that future peter comes to present and is evil
while current peter fights for good
evil peter vs good peter
Peter does have his scar in the picture of himself ? i think i will start of as in the future instead of the present but this confuses thing a bit . Anyone Agree ?

does future peter have the healing ability?
did he meet claire in that timeline??
that could explain why he didnt just heal his scar
or it could be that he needs the scar to remind him of something so he is repressing his healing ability
Its been confirmed by Kristin this scene is the future. And I think Peter could scar if the Haitian was around. Another example is Claire would know shooting Peter wouldn’t work – but The Haitian is in this scene – he was at the filming, so I’d say that’s the reason.
Not to mention I think the writers have thought of all of this – there is so much we don’t know will happen or did happen before or after this.
Hmmm….I’m thinking maybe future Peter with the scar is the one who traveled back and shot Nathan, possibly because Nathan’s press conference set off a bad chain of events. Then present Peter follows him back to the future to sort out what’s up, and that’s where the stunt double comes in, standing in for present Peter. Then maybe dark Claire from the future catches up with the two Peters, and kills/shoots at the scarred Peter from the future, maybe because he shot Nathan? That mural of the world blowing up looks pretty cool – must have taken them hours to paint that thing!
