Nathan coming back is essential. i think HRG killed him as a sign of commitment to to the company. But he also has the means to bring him back. to help take down the company.

I really think it was a mistake to make it able to bring people back to life. Now dead means nothing anymore… Anyone who dies can and probably will be brought to life…

Offtopic: I really hate the new look of the site. I usually visit this site 3 times per week, and I liked the design change made 6 months ago. But this new look/design is messy, the stories are not posted correctly in order, I just hate this new look! Hope an admin reads this. Old style was way cooler.

i think it’s a good thing nathan is alive. this entire season was very good but rocky compared to S1 so i think nathan will come back and nikki im not sure but every show and character has a feel to them when people just realize that it’s just time for them to go. i think they should wait for character deaths until season 3 to make it seem do-hickey-good-sorta-the-main-characters-never-die sort of and then in S3 BAM they smack a character off to shock evry1. also tim said in a previous interview that fr every good there is a bad and that the magic blood isnt all good news and that he had a couple of things in mind to restrict the curing

No, now that he has some of Adams blood in him, i think he’ll be fine, also, Peter has seen what Adams blood can do, Peter might just try it and give Nathan some of his ability. And the fact he was with Elle means he can shock his heart back to beating - he’s a walking ambulance!!!!

Who ever shot Nathan was obviously from the future. How else would they know that he was going to make a speech? It was too sudden. And they already announced that season 3 will have a future episode. Now only hiro and peter can time travel. Probably someone else we didn’t meet but the assassin looks more like Peter. Something must’ve badly happen because of that speech so he had to kill him

here’s how i care about each of these characters coming back

Nathan: I don’t really mind that he died, and i think someone has to have died because they can’t just keep bringing back people form the dead.
Niki: I really really hope she comes back, because they only killed her because the writers made her character less interesting in the second season, she is also my favourite female character.
Adam: Not really caring but i guess since this season is called Villians.
Elle: Want to see her and HRG kicking ass together:D

If it wasn’t for Peter, I wouldn’t care if Nathan got killed, but they need each other, and the show wouldn’t be as good without their brotherly connection. I hope that Ali Larter is still in the show, preferably as Nikki, but as anyone else is fine too. Adam is going to come back, because the volume is called Villians and I saw him in the trailer. I don’t really care if he comes back. I hate Elle though, and if I never see her again I won’t be sad.

Tell me what may mean series regular, does that mean Nathan and Nikki will be back as staring season or as guest season, uraiii for their return, they are essential to the show, truly, cause they are ones of the 7 originals.

I think they need to keep all of the regulars (that means everyone important from season one) alive. But I also think they need to stop adding and/or get rid of the newer characters. Except maybe Elle. She kicks butt. I liked how the first season went: Only “minor” important characters would die, giving it a feel of mortality; like Linderman, and Chandra. They were very important to the story, but were much better serving the series if they died.

I agree that it is too easy to bring “dead” people back to life with the cheerleader’s blood or with Adam Monroe’s blood … blood transfusions in real life are more often a source of death, not life. Having said that, however, I must disagree with certain comments to the effect that since Nathan got one infusion of Adam’s blood he should heal again. My understanding is that the mutant blood only works once. If it was a permanent cure, there would have been no point in Sylar killing the cheerleader in Season 1. Sylar never kills without some evil, yet seemingly rational purpose. Also, Sylar would now be immortal, since he injected the cheerleader’s blood, so there would be no stopping him at all. Nathan would have to get another infusion in order to heal.

No, he shouldn’t because the blood works just when it is injected. And sylar also doesnt have the powers from Claire. He would need to kill her in order to get her powers. I REally hope he stays dead and the story moves forward, i dont know about everyone else but claires blood is a major cheat, that should go punished. The show is not turning out to what i imagined it would be, the big bad of season 2 sounded like the cowardly lion, and was not imposing at all. Sylar should have been killed off at the end of the chapter it would have been totally unexpected, and would have made “Villans” that much more interesting. I mean the character is great but he should definately be dead right now. Ali larter should not come back in any way shape or form, because it closes her storyline. and that should be enough of he and her alter egos. theres so much hype about heroes season 3 but the season ender (even though it was a last minute slap together) left a really bad taste in my mouth. i hope they do away with all the cheats and the characters who are dead stay dead, Sorry you guys are great but theyve got to pick things up.

The whole story with Niki saving Monica from the fire was so stupid. I mean it seemed so “constructed” and such a stupid way to die! She already has the Shanti virus so if they want to kill her let the virus do it. It would make so much more sense and be way more tragic/dramatic. The fire and those stupid thugs burning the house down was a terrible storyline!

And I agree that they can’t keep healing and bringing characters back to life all the time. It’s getting to a point where death seems like nothing more than a nuisance :-/

Firstly Dave, I realise the Tim (who said it himself) said that this season wasn’t what he wanted / expected. But this shitstorm of bad writing(Claire/Takezo blood FTL) could have been prevented easily. You want to make your characters powerful, but not too powerful. I dont know if that makes sense to anyone, but you shouldnt be able to bring someone back from the dead who dosnt explicitly have the power to do so. I mean, any hero could just hook up a tube to Claire and siphon some blood to feel better again. It really felt like that was the begining to the end of the whole Heroes Saga and as a sci-fi fan i feel its just way too convenient.

Jessica / Nathan should not come back. If the writers don’t want the characters they should simply NOT KILL THEM OFF. I really do like the characters, if they do bring them back, it better not be cheerleader blood again (or any regenerating blood). If they do something really truly creative then props to them, but if the cheerleader blood comes up again ill be quite disappointed. This isn’t monopoly, there are no get out of jail free cards.

Im a fan of good sci fi. Ive seen good and bad, and if they use this cheat again there will be one less person watching next season thats for sure.

I think if Kring stops listening to the network to make the show more appealing (or whatever they think is appealing (giving claire and peter a boyfriend-completely pointless [Sidenote Catlin is DEFINATELY dead.]), and continues to make good sci-fi like the first season, and finds a way to keep it fresh then we will do well this season.

HRG stands for Horn Rimmed Glasses cause thats the glasses that he wears. an until the final episode of season 1 we didnt know what his real name was.

nathan cant be dead, adam/ kensi gave nathan his blood to save him when he was in the hospital and his body was badly burned.. he can regenerate now…

OK, so I know this series is all fiction, but lets put some real science into this.

Everybody should know that there are different blood types, so not everybody can give blood to anybody. Some blood types could actually kill. Now of course Claire/Adam’s blood might be different since they have regenrative powers. If I remember correctly Suresh checked Molly’s blood type to find it matched his before using his own blood to cure Molly. Now Claire’s blood could cure Nathan because Nathan is her biological father. Since the childs blood type is formed from the parents it’s quite likely they have the same blood type. Claire’s blood saving Noah, Maya and Sylar and Adam’s blood curing Nathan were just coincidental matching blood types. Now it’s this that might be the ‘negative’ side effect to using Claire’s/Adam’s blood to bring people back to life that I read in one of the comments before.

I don’t think that Nathan can come back alive again without Claire or Adam’s blood. It’s because it isn’t Peter’s power. The heroes powers are genetic mutations; hard coded in their DNA. Peter’s power is that he can copy other people’s powers when he is near them. So if he would give his blood to Nathan nothing would happen. The same way that Peter can’t copy any of Sylars powers that he learned from killing other people with powers (If he can, they haven’t shown that he can. I know that Sylar has super hearing but Peter doesn’t).

This is also why I think that a single injection of blood won’t let people who received them to regenerate wounds more than once. So Sylar isn’t going to be immortal (yet) and Nathan won’t just pop out the bullets and close the wounds. One injection of blood wouldn’t alter his DNA code to being able to fly AND regenerate.

Now I admit I’m no biologist and I only have limited knowledge about the subject. But that’s what I think.
In general; I thought volume 1 was way better than volume 2. They need some of that magic from volume 1 back to keep things interesting.

I think it’s very important for the story that nathan dies because as i see it it’s the only way that peter can grow as a hero and start fighting the real villians which includes his mother… i think it was the company - you know Bob and those guys ….

I think that Nathan and Niki won’t die because Nathan probably had a idea that something was going to happen so he could have been wearing a bullet proof vest or Peter would travel back in time and save him. I know Hiro would not kill Nathan (Hiros point of veiw flying man).Niki could not have died because they would not kill off Niki and D.L. that would just not give the show a good kick

Wait, this is bugging me. You know the girl that copies what she sees? Can she copy powers of other heroes like Peter? I’m Not so sure Ando has any abilities. He is there to show that everyone is important. Nikki must stay because her alter egos are the best part! Nathan can leave the show, his purpose is done. I’m tired of him. Takaito Kenzi/ Adam cannot be back. He sucked… And Hiro… When you went back in time and altered everything, why did you just not rewind once again and undo what you did? That vial dropping at the end of season 2 was just too slow. Peter could not have stopped it. As for who killed Nathan, I have to say Peter going back in time or Hiro cause future Hiro is mean. Wait, remember near the end of season 1? Sylar was pretending to be Nathan. Maybe that future is still yet to come. Maybe peter wasn’t the bomb. Maybe Sylar is the bomb… That would put a nice twist, wouldn’t it. Claire is obvious of her next problem, she won’t grow up. When the regenerating people do what they do to much, they stop aging. Elle does not need to be in there any more.

I would really like to Nikki back, it wouldn’t be fun without her. I would also like te see Peter and Nikki together, like in the episode ‘five years gone,’ that would make the show alot interesting and it’s to creal for Micah, first losing his father and shortl after that his mother. I didn’t really mind Nathan being dead, because he didn’t play a great role in season 2, altought it is cool he’s coming back too. Elle isn’t even dead, so I don’t get that, she was even in the trailer…
