During last week’s episode we saw Matt Parkman holding a group picture of 12 members of ‘The Company’, picture handed to him by Nathan Petrelli.
Some faces are very familiar:
Kaito Nakamura (George Takei), Angela Petrelli (Cristine Rose), Arthur Petrelli (actor unknown)
Charles Deveaux (Richard Roundtree), ‘Bob’ (Stephen Tobolowsky), Daniel Linderman (Malcolm McDowell)
Others…not so much:
Maury Parkman (Alan Blumenfeld), unknown (unknown), unknown (Joanna Cassidy), unknown (unknown)
unknown (unknown) and the 12th member, the one they really didn’t want us to see: unknown (unknown)

that isn’t necessarily true, peters absorption-powers weren’t quite active until the beginning of season 1.. before that he was constantly exposed to the powers of his mother/father and nathan.. but obviously never noticed something wasn’t right until that fly thingy@episode 1 of season 1. so basically his absorption power was just beginning to manifest itself but his father died soon after that, so there could be a slight possiblity that his father had the regeneration ability but peter never got the chance to absorb it..
Arthur’s power is dying. That’s why he died.
I PERSONNALY THINK THAT ARTHUR PETRELLI MAY BE ULURU (FRONT PAGE OF MICAHS COMIC) THERE MAY BE A LINK WITH NATHANS HALLUCINATIONS OF HIS FACE IN THE MIRROR. HIS DAD MAY HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEMS, ONE OF THE TWELVE MUST BE ULURU. I ALSO THINK ARTHUR IS HIDING OR EVEN BEING KEPT PRISONER BY SOME OF THE TWELVE AS HE IS DANGEROUS. I DONT THINK HIS DEAD THERE IS SOME MYSTERY ABOUT HIM THOUGH THAT THEY WILL REVEAL MAYBE IN SERIES 3

5. You people are forgetting theres more Villians such as kane.he was probably the killer.who knows what his power is.it could be shape shifting and he would have shape shifted into a bird.

Arthur petrelli is totally alive and it was ovious that his head was looking away on purpose.
