Pardon the pun, but it’s called for here, because Kristin, on the newest entry of her blog at E!online, answered a fan’s question with a very cryptic hint:
Halo in St. Paul, Minn.: I would love to hear something about Heroes!
How about some Mohinder dish? As was revealed in the Comic-Con screening of the season premiere, Mohinder (Sendhil Ramamurthy) is getting powers, and I can tell you that the powers you see exhibited at the end of the finale are not the end of the story. Before too long we’ll
see him exhibit a nifty power that he shares with one of the top five comic-book superheroes of all time. Care to guess which hero and which power? (Here’s a hint: Homer Simpson had a pig version.)
Now: ‘one of the top five comic superheroes of all time’…’had a pig version’… according to our resident comic books geek the hint could refer to Spider-Man (Peter Parker) and his parody at Marvel titled Spider-Ham (Peter Benjamin Porker).

I sure hope he can’t shoot webs that would be a little ridiculous. I know spider-man is cool and all but I think it would be weird and un-original if he could shoot webs. Strength, reflexes, and jumping are cool, but webs would make me lose confidence in the creativity of the writers. I like this show because it comes up with so many inventive powers. Yes, we have seen some of them before, but if Mohinder could shoot webs it would be too much of a copy of Spiderman. Anyway, everything without the webs would be awesome.
no offense but powers like spiderman!!!! CHEEZIE!
Oh Poor Mohinder, he is definetely getting the crappy story line this year. Thank goodness everything else sounds good.
I think the fact that Mohinder can give ppl powers is the thing they have to stop to save the world.
He already has superstrength, but it says he gets another power.
I think he may be able to climb walls, in a trailer you can see him on the ceiling.
Spider sense, guys, spider sense . . ..
> I sure hope he can’t shoot webs that would be a little ridiculous. I know spider-man is cool

Well the simple fact is, if Mohinder can get any power he wants, and he’s a Spiderman fan, he’ll get them. It’s not at all un-original. Of course, Mohinder is a lot more morally grey than Spiderman, so if he had Spidey’s power, you won’t see Spidey’s behaviour.
Anyway. knowing Mohinder, he’d likely get greedy and try to latch onto the powers of more than one comic book hero, and get drunk with power. I suspect that’s what happened when Future Super-Ando killed Future Hiro (who likely tried to reverse what was happening)
There’s a show out called The 4400. An amazing show. The similarities between heroes and The 4400 are too many to count. Here’s a spoiler for you. Mohinder Suresh will discover the serum that will give anybody a power. But, there is a 50 percent chance that you will live(with a power) or die. Somebody dark like Sylar will produce and distribute the serum nationwide. Then there will be a war between the the gifted and the humans. Yay! Can’t wait to see all the level 5 security inmates!! September 3rd is inching it’s way closer to the 3 hour season premiere(one hour recap and 2 hours of power-stealing, time-travelling, phasing, flying HEROES!
sal, i think u meant september 22.
Okay, the name of the new chapter is villians right? And from what i can gather the main theme behind this particular chapter is emphasize that,’ many who were deemed bad may turn towards the good side and vice versa’. Now Mohinder is one of the only characters on the show that exhibited good pretty much all the way through. what kept him honest was the fact that he was on the outside looking in, in terms of powers. But now he’s going to be manufactoring powers? i brings me to the old adage’ absolute powers corrupt absolutely.’ I actually have concerns about his moral compass once he opens the flood gates of special powers. will he show mercy on Sylar, his father’s murderer, when they meet? (I think Sylar is going to turn goodish…Sylar is a sociopath and is too acustomed to cracking open heads to be totally good). All i’m saying is Mohinder doesn’t know the temptation of powers, and with his smarts he won’t have the temptation of one but any he could manufactor.
ok people, i need some clarrification. first off this really is to the people who own the site, i want an answer, but idk how to contact them! ugh well anyways. a few trivial questions:
first off, if the guy that hiro meets in japan never ages, and he regenerates, does that mean claire and peter arent supposed to age either? sense it’ll be hard to make it look like the aren’t aging if they have alot more seasons of heroes.
second question: ok this is a good question. when peter is fighting claud he shows he can find powers inside him. he suddenly used telekinesis. so doesnt that mean he has every power inside him that sylar has? iff thats true then he also has charlies power, the one girl with the super ears, he has the ice power too. so why hasnt he shown any of it? he should at least show he has the power to hear stuff louder. he got attacked in mohinders app. an episode after sylar got that power. and who knows what powers sylar hasn even shown yet.
i hope the can answer my question, or at least some one else can. thanks, bye
imo, it would be impossible for peter to be aware of the every single power he has at any instance, wouldnt it?
well this is good :]
i always thought it was weird that his sister shanti got powers but he didnt.
Maybe he’s got equilibrium – i.e. sticking to things. Since when did Spiderman have web-shooters? But I don’t read the comics, maybe it’s different in the films.
I think that Mohinder has the gene, but it’s kind of locked, or hidden, until (in an article in the Sun last week) he takes Maya’s powers away.
