Why shouldn't she trust him? He's given her nothing but trust. Plus it's the family ties bonding. He met her and nearly gave his life for her. At least that was his intention when he fell over the building not knowing what to expect from the fall other then death. Of course to his surprise, he lived. If someone risked their life to save me, I'd put ultimate trust on him as well.
