What I noticed is this, if you watch the clip carefully there is a point where it appears salyler is jumping at Peter while he’s pinned to the wall. In truth, that segment of the clip is being played backwards. In actuallity, Peter is throwing saylar across the room and slamming him into a book case. Thank you, slow mo, DVR.
Another thing to think about is… maybe Peter never gets that imfamous scar in this time line. Maybe, the future Hiro we saw came from a future where saylar killed Claire and Peter, not knowing she existed, never got to asorbed her healing power.
Yeah I know I’m reading way between the lines but hey that’s half the fun.

so would that be peter that isaac just painted? i wonder if we will actually see something gore like claire putting her skin on the chest after it was cut in half for autopsy. imagine peter standing and picking the top part of his head up and putting it back on place. :p .. but it is kind of weird if peter gets a scar when he has ability to regenerate.

having us see about 30 seconds of sylar and peter together and keep teasing us for the next 7 weeks, i wonder how rumors would change and evolve with every exclusive previews that nbc releases.

    Homer J:

I have been thinking for some time that the “save the cheerleader, save the world” bit was solely to get Peter in place to catch Claire & Sylar’s powers so that he can change the future. Maybe I’m reading too much into it too. ^_^

if you noticed when you play the the preview going slow, as homer j said in a previous comment, the bomb that is blowing up in the preview is actually going inward… like the first picture you see( when you go in slow mo) is the bomb already exploding. as you slowly move foward, you see the bomb going toward the original exploding point. also, if you go slow, mohinder does get down from the ceiling…alive or not who knows. and yes, sylar is being thrown across the room by whom or what, who knows.

also other things like future hiro and past hiro meet in the future, at least thats what it looks like, when they show those images at the begining of the preview. both hiro;s have the same kind of back drop inside the blown up devaraux building.

someone is flying, but i can’t make up who it is, but i think its peter cause the person is in all black like peter was in the end of episode 18 and 2 ppl are standing at the top of a building, one is the hatian….the other a caucasian person.

thats all i saw… if anyone else see’s anything different than i did, please correct me, cause i’d rather be wrong and find out whats right

Wasn’t that probably Isaac himself in the painting of the guy laying on the ground with his head cut open in Episode 18? If you remember, in an early episode, Hiro went to the future and found Isaac dead, and Sylar has stolen his brain. This would line up with the interview in which the actress who plays Simone said that there is another [male] Hero who will die this season. It would also explain why Isaac looked so shocked after he looked at the painting.

I’m just guessing, but it makes logical sense to me.

  6. Bjorn says:

I got a cool theory, not sure if its been mentioned. But this battle between Peter and Sylar might be over quicker than we think… Remember when Peter first jumped off the roof with his brother below? His brother admits he flew up and grabbed him, then lost flight ability and then Peter flew…

I reckon when Peter uses the abilities of others, for that time, they are unable to use them. Almost like he actually “uses their powers” if that makes sense? I think that would be kinda cool.

But DAMN this show is awesome!

  7. Dude says:

hey Issac paints himself. if you remember episode 2, Hiro walks in and finds Issac dead on the floor, head cut off and all with a gun near the body. that same image was painted by issac in episode 18.

also if you look closly, the picture had a man with a beard and long hair, Issac in this episode is beging to grow a small beard amd obviously has long hair

“someone is flying, but i can’t make up who it is, but i think its peter cause the person is in all black like peter was in the end of episode 18 and 2 ppl are standing at the top of a building, one is the hatian….the other a caucasian person.”

That scene probably reminds you of when Peter saved Claude from the Hatian and HRG…because it was that same scene.

Not all of the scenes in this preview are from new episodes. Some of them are very obviously from episodes we have already seen. The one with Peter flying is one of them.

I can see why some people are assuming that Issac painted himself, but, remember, Mohinder also has a gun in his apartment, so, it’s not too accurate on who it is, could be either or, assuming that it is the future in weeks, it’s safe to say that it can be Issac, but, he can also paint the future that’ll happen in seconds or minutes, shown by his confrontation with Peter, when Peter showed up right behind him seconds after he finished drawing him. Also, to the comments about the preview being played backwards, there is some truth to it, as we see when Sylar is jumping/pushed, the scene played normally, it seems like a flying kick, which, just seems silly for Sylar to do with all his powers, but, playing it backwards, looks more like his legs are just kicking in the air as he is flying backwards from being pushed with Peters Telekinesis:-)

a slighty better preview of the next episodie is here http://www.shareaflick.net/4141-Heroes%20Preview%2019.html

the next episode, for sure, will have almost all the characters dead…on the future
so it’s Hiro and Ando storytime

  11. Lola says:

Does anyone know when they are going to play the reruns from the first episode? I missed the last 2 episodes and reading up on them isn’t quite doing the trick.
The cheerleader’s dad…is he part of a huge force of evil from a mad scientist or something.
They seem to kill off characters quickly in this show. I wonder if they don’t want to bother with in depth character development. Maybe we will just see a new heros with interesting powers, and just keep the details to a minimum. I need a flow chart anyway…

  12. Illusion8400 says:

Lola, if you have a good internet connection, just go to http://nbc.com

Go to the Heroes section of that website, and you can watch the show there, but, remember, you need a better connection than dial up, otherwise you’ll be there for quite a while:-)

  13. Kaladhan says:

What will happen between Sylar and Peter? It’s easy to predict. Peter will start to fight back but will be unable to beat Sylar. He will take Mohinder and flee. It’s on their next combat that Peter will be able to beat Sylar.

  14. sYk0 says:

[Why would Peter scar if Claire doesn’t? Just seems odd to me.]

Well going back to episode 5 where Hiro came back in time and said to peter “You look different without the scar”, remember Hiro came from the future where Claire did NOT exsist (she was most likely dead, Sylar).
Now that Peter has saved her and knows what her powers are (absorbed them) he can heal, if she was dead = no powers…

    just my 2 cents

  15. stan says:

why would they make us wait so long again when they just came back from a huge break from early December to late January. Unless its for a good reason I propose a boycott…
