If Peter can only use one power at a time he only has time to heal partially and then throw sylar back.
Did anybody watch the preview for Episode 19 in slow motion???
I caught it accidentally while rewinding and talking to my sister on the phone. She was bummed because she thought Peter was going to get killed… I was just telling her that I thought Peter was going to open an Industrial-Strength can of Whoop Ass on Sylar when I saw it…
Played at normal speed it maybe like 200ms, going slow you see Peter up against the wall, with blood on his face from Sylars cut…but the cut is healed…and he looks pissed. the next frames show what looks like Sylar flying forwards/backward through the air while Peter is still on the wall…and then Suresh falls off of the ceiling…probably because Sylar got knocked out.
Maybe the goateed guy with his brain removed in the painting ends up being Sylar???
My thoughs on Sprague vs. Sylar:
As mercurial as Sprague is, he can barely keep his power in check as it is, let alone when he is angry…give him a genuine fear of his life and pain to boot and I think he would…go off (no pun intended) like a bomb…vaporizing Sylar.
I kinda thought he was the one guy Sylar should be afraid of.
Maybe the city goes in just that scenario…Sprague detonates with rage and pain as Sylar tries to take his brain???
The end of that episode reminds me of Nip/Tuck except for the passed out part.
The last part with Peter’s bang failling maybe it’s a reference to this other video about one of Peter’s ticks ?

Sylar will be the one who blows up the city after he takes on further abilities of Candice’s shape-shifting and Ted’s radioactive powers. Linderman actually planned the explosion of New York. He will show Nathan Issak’s future paintings, including one of Peter in the White House. Linderman actually has powers too.
