so what do u guys think is artur patreli power?
it looks like he have peter ability if he can also talk with maury parkman and control angela in her dream,so he defintly have more then one power.
in angela dream u see artur taking peter,but syler is not there…but i dont see how artur can beat peter,peter has so many powers now ane he also now how to control all of them since he took syler ability…
He could talk to Maury simply because Maury can read his mind and he has ears to listen with…
You cannot assume the dream was Arthur’s doing… It is more likely that it was again Maury’s doing as we have seen previously he is able to mind-lock people in his “nightmare world” as he did with Molly.
something (i don’t know what) is leading me to believe arthur petrelli is an empath like peter. this isn’t wishful thinking, because it just adds in another unstoppable, overpowered supervillain into the mix.
If Arthur has the same ability as Peter, it may explain what Claude said back in season 1 when he said “you’re one of them………”
Peter has Sylar’s ability but he hasn’t used it to explore his own abilities yet…..
One thing about Peter. When he is in a medically induced coma, does his ability still work?? If it does, does this mean he now has Tracey’s ability as she was close to him when Nathan went to see him??
Another question I have is about the future episde a couple weeks back. Since Peter “absorbs” abilities, why did he have to go see Sylar to get the ability when he already had it?? Why couldn’t he “tap in” to it himself?? Also, when Peter tried to take what he needed from Sylar’s mind, Sylar blocked him and said “as if you could”. Does that still make Sylar the stronger of the two of them??
well if we consider the fact, arthur has three sons and the two born with abilities were similar (peter mimics and gabriel copies) than arthur’s ability could be something like that like a family inheritance. we have yet to learn if there is really no heredity in these abilities.
we have seen two cases by now, both of which had parents with synthetic abilites:
PARENTS: Niki/Jessica Sanders and Nathan Petrelli.
CHILDREN: Micah Sanders, Claire Bennet

I think Future Peter was pretty sure he could stop what he needed to stop at the time (subjugation of “special people”) by himself, without Sylar’s powers. Then when he went back and screwed up and realized “he stepped on too many butterflies” he couldn’t fix the past anymore. So he had to get someone to learn his plight and save the world from the past (insert plot device here
).
When Sylar said äs if you could” I’m pretty sure he meant Peter had no concept of his power and how to harness it to force Sylar to give him the power, not so much as Sylar is stronger of the 2.
rahul-i dont think its maury doing,u see he did traped molly in her dream world,but molly is not angela dont forget and artur patrelly power is alot stronger then maury,and if maury cant control artur now with his ability that means that artur has maury ability also isnt it?
like matt cant work his power on peter but he can talk just like he did with angela..
also the reference to cluade i think superbugs is right,cluade did say peter is not the first mimic so there must be another one,and the only one it looks like is artur since he can actully use his power in a dream like he did with angela…
oh and i was just thinking,since artur and linderman go way back since they were together in vietnam,the only one with powers there was linderman,and then after a while linderman came to artur and told him everything and that he was right and he needs to do something with his powers…
i think then they formed the company and they started doing the hole dna manipulation,and then artur took some power by using that dna manipultaion…
cos remember theres ppl that were had the abilities all the time and ppl that used by dna manipulation…
so that means some of the grown ups used that dna manipulation also…so my guess is that artur used that dna and took more then just 1 power,so he is probably a mimic like peter or maybe a copy power or something like that…
don’t forget that the formula is older than the previous generation. The father of Hiro’s father was also protecting the formula.

I think you guys are wrong in thinking that Angela’s dream was Maury’s doing….don’t forget that Angela DREAMS the future, that’s HER power….what she saw was what was left over from a “battle” between Primatech and Pinehurst, that takes place in the future.
What is the difference between Pinehurst and Primatech. I just stared watching the show
Did Claude not mention something about a female empath when he met Peter in his apartment? Where did she go? And who was her? Does she have something todo with Arthur?
Anyway, it could also be that Arthur was born with both powers, from Gabe and from Peter, and each sone inherited one of the powers…
mayb arthur’s power is similar and more than peter’s..
he can mimic and also combine abilities..
i think he actually appeared in angela’s dreams. in season 1, peter fell into a coma on the street and in his dream, charles talked to him as if he could see peter.
mayb arthur can mimic that ability of his old friend, go into angela’s dreams, and paralyze her
arthur isnt an empath..he would have absorbed adams power awhile ago..and wouldnt have to use his blood to save him now.adam was the one who took the picture of the original 12
