Episode 19 “.07%” Recap
Our beloved Heroes returns with a brief “Previously on Heroes” scene told by Mr. Linderman himself and, paintings that Isaac has done through out the season.

The story starts at Primatech Paper Company, where Matt Parkman, Mr. Bennet and Ted “Radioactive Man” are held by Candice and Thompson as prisoners while waiting the order to kill them. Candice tries to get to Bennet by becoming Claire, but he knows that she’s not his daughter. Bennet tries to communicate with Matt telepathically and helps him escape from his cell and then rescue Ted. While Matt tries to convience Ted, the alarms go off. Bennet explaines Matt about EMP (electromagnetic pulse), which Ted can do by “not burning hot but, burning bright”. The plan works, but this time they try to decide whether to take Bennet with them or not if they want to take Primatech down. They get him and all three of them escape from the building.

Linderman and Nathan Petrelli have a talk at Linderman’s gallery. He reveals his power to heal by reviving a dead plant. He talks about the past, how he and a group of people with special powers tried to help others but, in time the group fell apart as some people tried to use their powers for their personal goals. Linderman believes that helping one doesn’t work. There has to be a bigger thing to bring the world together, which is the explosion. Linderman points that only .07% of the population will be killed to serve a better world and, that is acceptable. He shows the painting of Nathan standing in White House and, tells him that he’s the leader to achieve all this. Nathan tells Linderman that the exploding man is his brother but, Linderman says it’s his curtain call and his role to play in this good cause. Nathan refuses to believe and he leaves.

And the moment we’ve all been waiting for. Peter vs. Sylar scene opens with a rewind from the last episode. With Mohinder is up on the ceiling, Sylar tries to slice to open Peter’s head, but he heals. Than pushes Sylar back with telekinesis powers, and becomes invisible. Since Sylar is a pretty clever man himself, he finds away to kill Peter even he can’t see him by spraying some broken glass. Mohinder knocks Sylar out with a piece of furniture, actually the map itself, and escapes with Peter.

Claire and her grandmother, Angela Petrelli, talk about the family. Angela explaines Claire how she knew her since she was a baby, she’s made arrangements for her, she tried to protect her. Angela offers Claire to come to Paris with her.
Sylar wakes up, realises the list is missing but still, he finds the name and address of Isaac Mendes.

Isaac knows he’s going to die today. He hands over his sketchbook to the publishing guy saying “It might be worth of something someday.”
Jessica/Niki argues with DL about Micah. DL wants to take him away because Jessica works for Linderman and he accuses her turning into his her father. Linderman’s men come over and take her to Linderman. At Linderman’s gallery, he requests that Jessica loan Micah to him. She refuses him by saying he’s off limits, and he can send anyone.
Mohinder brings Peter’s dead body to his home. His mother is devastaded. She sends Mohinder away and grieves. When Nathan comes back home, Angela tells him to hide Peter’s body until after election. Claire comes into the room saying that she wants to see Peter since he has saved her life. Then she notices the piece of glass behind Peter’s head and when she pulls it off Peter comes back to life.

Peter and Nathan have a talk about Claire’s situation. Peter tries to convience him to let Claire stay. Peter thinks Claire is there to save them from the explosion. Then Angela comes in and she tells her boys that she has known about their powers long before they knew. Later, Nathan and Claire have a talk about her going to Paris but she can return after the election. Claire seems to accept it.
Back to Texas, Bennet, Matt and Ted discuss about their next move. When Matt mentiones about Linderman, he realises that Bennet has no idea about him being in charge of the Primatech. They decide to go to New York to find a way to take down the tracking system.

Jessica meets outside her house with Linderman to give Micah to him. Linderman asks Micah, if he wants to save the world. Micah, goes along with the question, believing his mother approves of this. A minute after Linderman leaves with Micah, it appears to be she was Candice and, Jessica has no idea what’s been going on.
Mohinder calls Mr. Bennet to ask for help. Instead Thompson cames along telling him he needs some friends to continue his research and, they should work together.

Sylar shows up at Isaac’s house, becomes a bit suprised when he realises Isaac has been waiting for him. Isaac does not try to stop Sylar, he says he’ll be a hero by showing others how to kill Sylar. Sylar ignores and does the slicing thing. We see Sylar painting a picture. He sucks by the way.

Hiro and Ando are in the future, 5 years from now, bomb has exploided in New York. Ando suggests Hiro to take them back so they can try to change this. But Hiro thinks it’s better to stick around and see what has happened so when they go back, they will know how to stop it. tye go back to Isaac’s place, hoping he’s still alive. Instead they find a puzzle like timeline hanging with all the newspaper clippings.

They hear a noise and, a man approaches, the Future-Hiro.

Is it significant that Angela Petrelli uses the words “my husband and I” instead of your “grandfather and I”?
i can’t wait for the next episode. Sylar will be the exploding bomb and that was according to the future Hiro. I’ve read it on the String Theory graphic novel. The only way to Kill Sylar is not to let him kill Claire. I think.
Kristen
but in the episode 20 promo clip, it shows peter telling jessica that he was the bomb
does angela imply that she has a power when she talks to claire about having a choice in what her life will be after she fully realizes her powers
also, does hrg have powers? he seemed to be looking through matts eyes when they were escaping
@ ouryLN
I caught that as well. Angela seems around Lindermans age.. Linderman talked about others who discovered their powers when he did.. Could Linderman be Nathan and Peters father? It may be a stretch, but..
@ Kristen
I’m sure Angela does have a power, and I think it’s the power Peter was “using” when he had the vision of himself exploding.
About HRG.. He may have just known his way around Primatech enough to guide Matt.
“I knew long before any of you did” a quote from Angela when Peter and Nathan were talking about Claire. Yeah, Angela can foresee the future… I think.
Super Hiro!
Why did tv.com issue this statement of this episode (19)?
¨….We will meet a computer savvy geek and a competent security guard who works in the Corinthian Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas……¨
Syl
yea Angela has that ’seeing through time’ or whatever power, it will be explained. So does this mean that EVERY power Peter has was ‘absorbed’ from someone else?

Er… Great recap, but I’m still trying to understand: did I miss an episode or are we supposed to just assume whatever we want fo the events that took place in the Sanders/Hawkins home between “Nathan knoks Nikki down” and DL’s “you told me you were in controll now”??? Am I the only one who thinks that it is stealing us from an important passage where the couple discuss this all? (and after all, who’s in charge now? is it to be a tatoo-hunt theme?) Sorry, I can’t find a thing about that… thought your recap could help?

DL accused Niki of beocming Like her own dad Hal not DL’s father.
