So if it was quadruplets for Nikki and Tracy, then with the way Heroes is written, we could expect them to kill off three sisters until it’s down to one. Oh and if we ever see heroes in an alternate future we’ll always see that they’re never lucky enough to survive like the heroes in our timeline. Gawd.

I’d like to see characters leaving the show in ways that don’t involve killing them in stupid ways. At least give the actors some powerful scenes to add to their acting reel before they’re retired from the show. Daphne being flow to the moon by Parkman is an attempt but terrible nonetheless. Some people thought it was romantic. But it’s just completely Parkman-centric even though Daphne should be getting the attention. Remember Daphne had cerebral palsy for most of her life and she didn’t want to go back to that. So what does Parkman do but make her cling to him while he zips her around? Very selfish of Parkman. How about if in the fantasy she was given power too and they could race to the moon. Imagine her feeling her legs moving with ultimate power or flying under her own power. Why not give her that feeling before she dies? It’s actually a good thing they only showed a brief shot of Parkman grieving because the scene was completely unmoving. I don’t ever remember any moving scene between them where we could feel their chemistry. Not even on the farm (”You built a scarecrow for your Dad when you were a kid. Of course you’re a good person Daphne.” Maybe if they had more scenes showing Daphne with her Dad I’d buy that).
I’ve noticed lately that women characters still just seem to be written for male nerd cliches. Claire getting a job at a comic shop to exploit a gag about nerds going gaga over hot chicks? Good grief.
Or the terrible resolution to the Nikki/DL/Micah storyline. Here we were actually getting payoff with a family coming through heroically for each other. Then they suddenly kill the characters off after they’ve survived so many triumphant battles. Don’t say stuff happens in real life. This is fiction. They can give us something more hopeful or intriguing. Where is Monica these days anyways?
Anyways, Heroes is better than it has been for awhile. But it’s not perfect. Tracy crying a solitary tear out of her frozen, busted off head? Why why why? They did not spend enough time building up her potential for real compassion or sadness to make that tear work. But they were effective at making me believe she was heartless with all the episodes she was in except for the early ones where she showed remorse at killing someone accidentally. But maybe that was more her fear of being a freak than remorse.
Next, any character’s power will be related to their job or hobby or personality. That is really proving itself to be a ridiculous scheme for storylines. So swimmers that gain powers will have the ability to breathe underwater (Alex). A pilot will have the ability to fly (Nathan). A puppeteer will be able to manipulate other people like dolls on strings. A girl with cerebral palsy affecting her legs will gain the ability to run super fast. Next, a miner will gain the ability to turn into stone. A blind person will be able to see things in x-ray vision. A novelist will find she/he can control what people do by writing pen on paper.
Parkman painting the future should just be dropped. Fighting the future has simply pigeon-holed the storylines and confined the writers unnecessarily. It also takes half the surprise out of it these days.
The soliloquies by Mohinder at the beginning and ends of episodes are as effective as those on the Outer Limits. Smug generalities that could be applied to any episode.
Sylar partnering up with Danko but each person has their own agenda. Oh come on! It’s not like these characters are all confined to the same starship together. They don’t have to force the characters to weave back in with each other in the same plot thread all the time. At the very least isn’t there something else in the world Sylar could think of doing? Are we back to season one’s future storyline of “eliminate the competition”? Instead of another plot of “who will reveal his hand with the first betrayal”. Sylar could be taking over domestic or foreign political powers for crying out loud. He could be exploring dark areas of humanity or become a despot in a chaotic country rich with oil and/or culture.
I watch the show with hope. Hope because this is a rare opportunity to see a show with powers and some good actors and killing it could possibly mean another show like this would never be green-lit again. Hope that the actors will get good dialogue and character evolution. Because the cast and crew deserve their jobs. But this show should not be allowed to live when other, better shows are being cancelled. This is the only show I’ve ever continued to watch even though it felt like it was punishing its audience and brings down my mood every time. All because I want shows of this kind to be available in the future.
The last two or three years of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoons are more satisfying and less cliche than Heroes.

if anyone is watching once piece,theres a charcter called aiokiji that guy can turn into total ice and even if u break him he just turn him self back using the ice manipulation.

so im sure she can do the same.
