Not a bad novel but some rather obscure characters. Mom has the ability to create hotness…that could come in handy for every man on the planet.

of course the mother is candice/betty ……. i mean the easter egg was even her other form
but who’s the young one?
What the, Candice survived? How?! I know Sylar has yet to use her power but why would she create an elaborate set up to make Sylar think he just removed her cranium, even going so far as to show her true form, and let him go? Also it totally makes sense that Betty’s daughter would have a terribly ugly face, although I thought Betty was only in high school when she joined up with Linderman?
yea it makes sooo much sense i mean candice who is actually betty who is actually a high school goth has a 20+ year old daughter…. i mean of course its possible….

ok from what i can remember, there was a novel a long time ago about candice/better (the girl in the easter egg). from that novel, she was this goth, chubby girl in high school. i’m not sure if the character in THIS novel has anything to do with candice/betty. therefore, candice DID die and this is another person.

I think the graphic novel writers are just messing with you guys with that picture of candice in the easter egg. clearly she is gone. now the mother could be ugly too, but she jsut puts her face on every day, literally. I know I don’t have to be the one to state the obvious fantasy here. think back to every girl you ever noticed that needed the brown bag treatment, but had a slammin body. I wonder what was going on in the personal life of whomever wrote this issue.

Anyway, Sylar did NOT have his Intuitive aptitude due to the Shanti Virus….so technically, he should not have aquired Candice’s ability. But they’re probably forget about that whole thing, and we’ll see him cast some illusions in season 3. (God I hope not -_-)
Also I think the whole easter egg with Candice in it was just a nice way of reminding us of a character people just loved to hate. Especially since in this one, there was a character who could do something ’similar’ to her, it was only appropriate to pay some sort of homage to her.
But that’s just my 2 cents.
