Brooklyn, NY: Mohinder arrives home to find Maya and Sylar, who tells him they need his help. Mohinder learns Sylar’s powers are gone, he tries to kill him with a knife, but Sylar has a gun and stops him. Sylar wants the cure because he got the virus. Maya realizes Sylar lied to her and starts using her ability. They all start getting blackened eyes, even Molly that comes out of her room, screaming. Then Maya stops her power. Mohinder says he will help them.

Manhattan, NY: Angela had been released from jail. Matt tells her Adam and Peter murdered Victoria. She says 30 years ago she helped Adam, then she realized she was wrong. Angela then says Adam wants to release the virus in Odessa. and to Matt in a thought that if they can’t stop Peter, shoot him in the head.

Odessa, TX: Adam and Peter at Primatech, Hiro stops time and charges. At the last moment he teleports near Peter and asks why is he protecting Adam. Hiro says he will betray Peter and attacks Adam but Peter stops the sword with his telekinesis, saying Adam saved Nathan’s life. Hiro re-appears behind Peter and puts the sword at Peter’s throat. He electrocutes the sword, Hiro passes out. Adam sees Hiro and says they were friends long time ago. Peter says he wanted to kill him and said he shouldn’t trust Adam, he takes the sword from Hiro.

Costa Verde, CA: Claire is searching some files at Noah’s things, Sandra wants her to stop, but she refuses.

Bob argues with Elle about her incident with Claire. Bob decides not to give Elle field assignments anymore. She goes to Noah to ask him what Bob did to her. He tells her when she was seven, they tested how much wattage she could discharge and they wanted to stop it after a day, but Bob refused :”No, my girl’s tougher than that”. Bob arrives, telling Claire is becoming difficult and if she has any evidence that would lead to the Company’s exposal, they have to keep her quiet.

New Orleans: Micah arrives, tells Niki what happened to Monica and they have to save her. Niki says she doesn’t have her strength because of the virus. Micah adds all she have to do is drive.

Adam and Peter arrives at the vault, where the virus is stored, knocking out the guards on the way. Peter is confused, asking Adam why should he trust him after he killed Hiro’s father. Adam replies with Caitlin, trapped in the future with the virus released. Peter starts to open the vault telekinetically.

Mohinder arrives to his lab with the others. He sets the alert and takes Sylar’s blood to diagnose. Meanwhile, Elle sneaks to Bob’s office and discovers that her file is empty. She logs in the video surveillance and sees Sylar in Mohinder’s lab.

A thug splits gasoline everywhere in the house where Monica is held captive. Meanwhile, Micah tracks down Monica’s cell phone, while Niki is driving.

Matt and Nathan arrives to Primatech Paper in a quite unusual way. He tells Nathan what Angela “told” him. They meet Hiro: “Flying man!!!”

West goes to Claire to stop her, because he wants to keep his secret, not take it public. Claire refuses and sends him away, then Noah arrives.

Maya talks to Molly about Alejandro. Molly offers her help, but she can’t find him anywhere. Mohinder says the Company injected Sylar with the virus. Maya confronts Sylar about Alejandro’s death, then suddenly he shoots her and she dies. He forces Mohinder to inject Maya with the cure to see if it works.

Noah tells his family that Claire’s blood healed him and Claire must stop exposing the Company, because they will react. He says they will leave them alive if he goes back to the Company.

Peter manages to open the vault’s door. Adam goes in, but Hiro stops him. Peter throws him to the wall and starts choking him in Darth Vader style. Suddenly Matt says through a thought to let him go and Adam is using him. Peter releases Hiro, but starts pushing Matt, then Nathan arrives. He convinces Peter to go after Adam because he manipulated him. Hiro goes inside the vault, but Adam already has the virus in his hand, behind his back. He says when the virus spread out, people who survive get a second chance, and he will be their hero. Hiro teleports them out, but Adam releases the virus from his hand. The vial almost breaks, Peter telekinetically grabs it, then destroys it with some radiation. Nathan says they must take all secrets to public, but somebody watches them through video surveillance. Nathan wants a press conference and asks Matt to organize it.

As Mohinder injects the cure into Maya, Elle enters the lab. Maya comes back to life, Sylar takes the cure, Elle attacks him, but he shoots at her and flees away, but not before Elle zaps him.

As Niki and Micah arrive to the house, the thug sets it on fire. Niki beats the thug and runs in the burning house. She releases Monica and they almost exit, but a beam blocks it. Niki lifts the beam, so Monica can get out, but she can’t hold it so she gets trapped and the house blows up.

Hiro returned to Japan, telling Ando Adam can never hurt anyone again, then we see Adam, buried alive in the same graveyard Kaito lies by.

Maya says she thought she was dead. Elle says Sylar’s gone and worries about it, but Mohinder tells her she saved them.

Odessa, TX: At the police station, Nathan is holding the press conference. As he wants to say what ability he has, suddenly, an unknown assassin shoots him twice in the chest. He falls into Peter’s arms. Angela watches the news about it and talks to someone on the phone. She says it was unavoidable, but he/she have now opened “Pandora’s box”.

Sylar injects himself with the cure, noticing his wounds are healing. He tries to telekinetically move a tin. As he succeeds, he says: “I’m back.”
