White Beard’s camp, Japan, 1671: Hiro, Yaeko and the swordsmith is held captive. Hiro is above some boiling opium, dazed and cannot use his power due to it. Kensei tells Yaeko he will get half of the country as a reward from White Beard and her as his Princess.

Odessa, Ukraine: Bennet takes photos of the paintings and phones Mohinder if he got a Company related gun, he tells he didn’t get any gun and there’s a problem because of his new partner watches him. Then Bennet burns all the paintings. Meanwhile, at the Facility of the Company, Bob evacuates the building because Matt and Nathan came there to warn him.

New York City, 2008: Peter and Caitlin wandering the streets, looking for sign of life, then a van arrives with some people, wearing protective clothing.

Costa Verde, CA: Claire gets up to find her mother and West downstairs.

West shows her they’re in the newspaper and thinks it’s cool, but Claire freaks out and hides the picture of her father from West.

Hartsdale, NY: Bob, Matt, Mohinder, Niki and Nathan discuss the situation Maury is there. Bob tells Matt he is the only one who can stop his father, because he has the same ability: “Anything the brain controls, you control.”

Japan, 1671: Yaeko frees herself and helps Hiro, he starts concentrating very hard and teleports them out of there.

The men in the protective suit gives Peter and Caitlin an antiseptic shower. A man comes and tells Peter he is dead according to the files and Caitlin will be deported. He also tells Peter the infection started a year ago, spread across the globe and killed 93% of the World’s population.

Back to Hartsdale, Matt talks to the unconscious Molly and his power improves, Molly can hear him. On the corridor, Niki sees DL, turns out it’s Maury’s illusion. Bob and Nathan talk about Adam. Bob tells him Adam is the real killer, Maury is just his instrument. He discovered his ability and think of himself as a god. Linderman was Adam’s disciple. They locked Adam up, but he escaped and now wants revenge. Then Bob tells Nathan that Peter is alive.

Peter meets his mother, but doesn’t recognize her. She tells him his brother died in the first outbreak. He concentrates, after that he recognizes Angela.

Costa Verde, CA: Bennet arrives home and West sees her, Claire tells him Bennet is her father, but he flees.

Hartsdale: Maury makes an illusion to Niki, that DL is murdered by Bob. She becomes angry, punches Mohinder over the room and takes the syringe with the virus in it.

It’s night at White Beard’s camp. Hiro tries to destroy the guns, but Kensei appears. They fight, Hiro wins but wants to help Kensei. He tells Hiro he will make him suffer. Hiro teleports out of the camp in the moment of the explosion.

Hartsdale: Bob shows a video of Peter taken 3 months ago then tells him they lost track of him. Suddenly, Niki starts breaking the door. Matt exits the ward to find himself in Maury’s illusion, finding Molly. He brings there Maury. It’s their house when Matt was a little boy. Matt wants Maury to turn himself in, but he refuses. Then he locks there his father just as Maury did with Molly. Matt wakes up, finds Maury lying on the ground, unconscious and Molly wakes up.

Peter notices Caitlin through the grid, almost got her, then suddenly finds himself in the room in Montreal.

Hiro finds the corpse of Kensei, and takes his faceplate. He tells Yaeko, he must go back to his time. She tells him that she will tell others the story of Hiro under Takezo Kensei’s name.

Hartsdale: Mohinder wants to cure Niki with his own blood, but finds out the virus is immune to that. It turns out Niki’s going to die.

Japan, present time: Hiro visits Ando at Yamagato Industries. Ando tells him they saved the world and Kaito has been murdered.

Bob tells Mohinder they going to destroy every last vial. He tells Mohinder that there’s a way to get Niki cured, that he must take Claire to the Company and gives him a gun.

Bennet is looking to the pictures he took. Susan tells him Claire has a boyfriend and he’s fine. He finds the article, arguing Claire about it. He adds she put the family in danger and now they must move.

Montreal: Peter is trying to go back to New York, but he can’t. He hears someone coming and accidentally, throws out a lighting to the man’s hand. The hand regenerates, and we see Adam, turns out he is Kensei.
