Opening scene, Kensei revealing himself as Adam, Peter doesn’t recognize him. Adam has an idea and Peter starts to remember his brother, Nathan. Flashback.

FOUR MONTHS AGO:

Kirby Plaza, NY: Nathan grabs Peter and flies away, Peter wants him to release him, because Nathan might die in the explosion. The shockwave reaches Nathan and knocks him out, suddenly, Peter catches him, flying over.

Roosevelt Hospital, Manhattan: The surgery on DL was succesful, he will be fine.

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic: We see Alejandro’s wedding, then the celebration party. Maya hears passionate moaning behind a door, she enters, seeing that the bride is cheating Alejandro with her ex lover. They threaten her and the known black liquid comes from her eyes for the first time. She goes out, finding all the party-guests dead.

Peter bings Nathan to the hospital,an officer comes, so he goes invisible. When he appears, Elle attacks him from behind with Bob. He wakes up at the Facility of the Company with Elle, Bob and the Haitian inside. The Haitian blocks his powers. Bob tells him he’s an old friend of his parents and the finest doctors in the world are working on Nathan. He also adds, they worked on a vaccine and stopped the project 30 years ago, but now they continue it, so Peter can be cured.

Nathan wakes up, seeing Angela beside him. She tells him coast guards are searching for Peter. He looks at the mirror, seeing his whole body is burnt.

Niki and Micah give DL a visit. The bills had been paid by Bob. He offers help to Niki, because a new personality in her can be emerged. For the program, she has to leave her family. She hesitates.

Elle cuts Peter’s hair, telling he has to take some pills every day, which control the abilities. When Elle exits, Peter hears a voice from the next room, it’s Adam.

THREE MONTHS AGO:

It’s Micah’s birthday and a family celebrating. DL tells he got a job. The side affects now appear on Niki, due to it, she destroys the pills she got for it.

Peter and Adam introduce themselves to each other.

TWO MONTHS AGO:

Elle takes the pills to Peter and hurts him with some electricity. She tells him she lives there for 16 years, she accidentally set her grandmother’s house on fire and caused a blackout in four counties when she was 8. We learn that she’s 24 now. Adam tells Peter he’s there for 30 years waiting for the cure.

Heidi visits Nathan and Angela arrives. She tells Heidi that there’s a dark secret in the Petrelli family-her husband had depression which led to his suicide ande she believes the disease has passed on to his sons. She asks Heidi to keep the secret. She agrees.

Niki notices a new personality has been emerged. Her name is Gina and she changes herself with Niki.

Peter asks if he could go see his family, but Bob refuses. Adam tells him that few years ago he tried to take his abilities public, but they cannot kill him, so they captured him and his blood has curing powers. He adds he could cure Nathan. Peter decides getting out of there.

DL is at job, on his first day as a firefighter. He saves a little girl from a burning house, phasing through the burning wall. When he arrives home, he sees a message from Gina, she went to L.A.

ONE MONTH AGO:

Peter doesn’t take the pills for 5 days now. His powers start coming back and he phases through the walls with Adam. We learn that he is more than 400 years old.

Maya hid in Venezuela, Alejandro finds her in a church, brought a cop with himself. As he arrests Maya, she reveals her power again, the cop dies, Alejandro holds her hands and absorbs the power to himself.

DL finds Niki in a bar, dancing with a dealer. When they leave, the dealer suddenly shoots him in the chest at close range.

THREE WEEKS AGO:

It’s the Sanders family, mourning DL. Bob arrives.

Peter and Adam visits Nathan. Adam says he arranged planes tickets and money to Peter. He takes some blood of his to a syringe and injects the blood into the IV. Right after, Nathan heals right before their eyes. Before they leave, Peter takes the photo of him and Nathan with him. Outside the hospital, Adam gives a passport and a plane ticket to Peter, he says Peter to meet in Montreal. Suddenly, Elle and the Haitian appear. Elle zaps Adam then Peter in the back. His shirt catches on fire, so he takes it off. The Haitian manages to catch him and throws into a crate. Peter tries to use his power, but he can’t. The Haitian cuffs him to the corner of the crate, gives him his helix-necklace, telling he won’t take him back. He will help Peter to start a new life, because Angela helped him too. Then he erases his memory and closes the crate.

Angela visits Nathan to find him totally recovered, standing, looking out the window.

In the present day, Maya is driving in the desert with Sylar and Alejandro. Niki leaves the Facility of the Company. Nathan arrives at the Wandering Rocks pub, hoping to find Peter there.Peter then flashes back to the present day. He tells Adam that he remembers everything, then Adam asks: Shall we save the world?
