They are back! Last season we saw how ordinary people can do extraordinary things. I guess, this season won’t be any less. But this time, since they all had pretty bad experiences, they are trying to be ordinary, playing safe and keeping a low-profile.
This time, since there was too many characters and events to tell, i will write this recap in a different way. Not the old scene after scene mode. It will be like what happened to a character thru the hole episode.
So here we go, the first recap of this season.

It all starts with Mohinder again, reminding about our heroes, what they did, what they can do. It’s a great way to remember the previous season and give some hints about next episodes. We see little clips of each character, old and new. At the end of his speech, we find Mohinder Suresh in Egypt, giving a lecture/conferance about revolution. He is seeking help to fund his researches and find a cure for this “illness. After the speech, a man approaches him to get an authograph, but later he reveals the real deal. He wants to fund Mohinder’s research by giving a job. This man also has a power, which is turning metal to gold, so Mohinder seems convinced and tooks the job.

Now, the first two newbies, Maya and Alejandro.
We find these two, running away from cops in Honduras. They are, like all heroes did, looking for answers so they decide to go New York to talk to the author of the human genome book, Dr. Suresh. They pay a great deal of money to a human smuggler to get to US border. Later on, smuggler breaks the deal, leaves Alejandro and takes Maya with them. But Alejandro finds the truck, with all men dead including the other fugitives. Maya is there by the truck, crying and telling him she didn’t do it on purpose.

The Benett Family;
They all moved to California and trying to play a normal family. Claire starts new school, there she meets with West, who has a super power of flying but of course both don’t know about each other. She has a little problem with the cheerleader squad, but since her father told her to play safe, she doesn’t show off much. Also Noah Benett is trying to act like nothing has happened but his new manager makes him crazy. So he shows a little what he is capable of, and the problem is solved. Later on, he gets a call from Mohinder, telling him that he’s in. We learn Matt, Mohinder and Noah are still trying to destroy the company and people behind it.

Beloved Hiro Nakamura;
We left him in 1641, middle of a battlefield. Hiro, with all his sweetness, meets his hero, Takezo Kensei. But there is a little problem, he’s not a real hero, and he’s not even Japanese. The mighty Kensei turns out to be a coward English man, fighting for money, not honor.

Kaito Nakamura & Ando;
Since Kaito saw the strength of his son, he still keeps on waiting for Hiro to come back. For the last 4 months he and Ando have been waiting in front of the Kirby Building, where Hiro teleported himself. Instead, he finds a picture of him with a red sign on which means he will be dead in 24 hours.

They both go to Dexter Building. While Ando leaves to get him a sword, Angela Petrelli walks in with the same sign drew on her picture. They argue a little about the company and all the deaths of people who found it, then she leaves. Later on, Kaito is pushed off the building by a man wearing a hoodie. Looks like he’s dead, but the man escapes. Wonder he’s Sylar.

Here comes the Petrelli’s;
Nathan looks like a caveman, with all the beard and stuff, looks like he can’t deal with Peter’s death. We learn that he is divorced, and according to his “new look, he’s not a senator.

His mother tries to put some sense in it, make him accept death of Peter. Nathan rudely kicks his mother out of the apartment, there Angela finds her picture with a red mark acros her face.
Our favorite policeman, Matt Parkman;
He has an impressive enterance to the show, shooting people with a great confidence, which turns out to be a NYPD drill. He has become a dedective, and also had a divorce. He’s been living with Molly and Mohinder, trying to keep Molly safe. On the other hand, Molly has been having bad dreams about a man watching and trying to hurt her and she also draws these dreams. Matt reads her mind while she’s having a nightmare, we hear a man’s voice saying “i can see you. We’ll see if he’s Sylar, or the bogeyman she was talking about earlier.

And last but not the least Peter Petrelli himself;
Blackie, an Irish mob with a terrible accent, and his crew opens up a shipping container (of course in Ireland) and they find Peter chained up in a corner. We learn that Peter doesn’t remember a thing but he can still use his powers. You can watch the last scene here.

It was a great episode i think, we got to learn about everyone’s whereabouts except Nikki, DL, Micah and the most expected character of the show Sylar. It’s getting more and more crowded with the new characters coming in, and there are still a few we haven’t met yet. I, again, can’t wait to see what will happen next.
Editor’s Note : tigerfur just won 3 points for this years Heroes Season 2 DVD deal..

The story lacks suspense? – Woah that’s so wrong. Heroes got the bset suspense ever. maybe you aren’t reading the digital comics? They are connected with the series. What isn’t shown in the series are told in the digital novel. Like who killed Hiro’s dad – Read the Blackout issue. That may look like him.
