After all, Future Hiro came from a timeline where Claire died, right? Thus Peter not having healing powers, making him heal just like the rest of us. Considering Peter can regenerate from mostly anything, I'm thinking the scar is going to be some kind of effect of a power being used on Peter (or maybe one of his acquired powers gone wrong?). True, Sylar did make the forehead cut with his telekinesis, but that's almost the same thing as cutting with a knife, without the knife. Remember, in episode 18, the Haitian said to Claire, when talking about the Company, "What they will do, not even you can recover from." Maybe whatever he was talking about was going to be done to Peter, although I suppose not necessarily by the Company. Interesting..
