Shouldn't the scar not exist in the timeline we are in? After all, Future Hiro came from a timeline where Claire died, right? Thus Peter not having healing powers, making him heal just like the rest of us. I have always felt that we are in a different timeline now than the one Future Hiro came from originally.

Does this mean that it's official that that cut won't be the controversial scar we've all been waiting for?

@Cyphase

I'm not sure what Milo said about the scar was fact or just dodging the question of what seems obvious with the cut on his forehead. I'm leaning with you on the scar not being caused by Sylar though...

Ahh, so Sylars cut (initial cut?) isn't the scar Future Hiro was referring to.. Considering Peter can regenerate from mostly anything, I'm thinking the scar is going to be some kind of effect of a power being used on Peter (or maybe one of his acquired powers gone wrong?). True, Sylar did make the forehead cut with his telekinesis, but that's almost the same thing as cutting with a knife, without the knife.

Remember, in episode 18, the Haitian said to Claire, when talking about the Company, "What they will do, not even you can recover from." Maybe whatever he was talking about was going to be done to Peter, although I suppose not necessarily by the Company. Interesting..
