First post finally! I think the epiesode was great. i wasnt expecting that to happen. I hope they arent dead and come back next season.

this was an awsome way to finish the volume. I loved the twist and were it is heading. I believe the bad guys from the company are going to rise to try and destroy our beloved heroes from changing the worlds view of them. Sylars mentor and new threat for the heroes will bring more light to the dark and unkown company. There is so much to learn about the company and its members that the story shall go on for several more seasons.and I still believe mama petrelli is hiding so much including the truth on her husband. Can’t what till it returns.

I actually glad they killed off nathan. He was a whiny wuss that never used his powers (except to save new york). No way they will kill off Niki, she’s too popular. And TV generally never kills off single mom’s trying to save kids in a fire.

Cool ideas: going public with the powers, sylar getting all his powers back ( i wonder if he keeps candice’s illusion ability), hiro having a nemesis that he will run into in any timeline.

Bad ideas: introducing characters to just kill them off, too many storylines and bringing people back from the dead at the drop of a hat.

I don’t know about Niki, but as far as Nathan goes all he needs is some Peter or Claire blood and brothers are back in action and can go get Noah, who was obviously the one who shot Nathan since he’s now at the beck and call of The Company to protect Claire . . . hey producers, why not share the wealth so the writers can get back to making you your money?

I was really disappointed with this ending. And there are so many reasons why.

- In season 1 all the characters had met and were part of the big event at the end. But Micah, Nikki, and Monica were threatened by some stupid gang banger.

- The recap of the last episode was around 20 minutes!

- You could tell the writers didn’t write the last episode. The producers came up with this ending out of their asses. The speech out at the end by Nathan wasn’t all to great.

- Characters didn’t act like themselves. (when Noah came home, when Hiro was at his office)

- So much was skipped and suddenly happened. I bet Nathan, Peter and Matt would have tried to take on the company. Instead they suddenly decide to do a press conference. It didn’t show how Hiro got Adam in the ground.

- Elle didn’t get to be the bad ass character she was meant to be. Her last big thing was trying to get sylar for daddy.

- So much left out, remember how Adam and Peter found that last company member. They had to trouble finding her when Angela had said she was in hiding. How they found her was left out. A better reuniting of the brothers was left out.

- This season was supposed to be about Generations, the older generation that created the company. We learned who they were. We didn’t learn anything else tho but that they created a virus but how? why? we got barely any answers.

oh ya and…

- They try to get us back for season 3 with a clip of Sylar. It’s sad how they kept him around so long. He didn’t do anything for season 3 and yet we are supposed to be glad he’s back.

i have an odd feeling that the guy who shot nathan is actually peter, except its his evil twin or something since mama petrelli mentioned about the pandora’s box. even though it might be impossible, it would be interesting to have an evil twin of peter on the show.

The whole element of the assassination of Peter is great but otherwise I’m very disappointed in the ending.

My Guess: HRG killed Nathan to save his family.

Well…The begining of the season was a bit boring but got so great at the end. I love how the show branches of so much so it leaves you guessing and wanting to watch it more. I honestly was very dissapointed with the fact nathan was shot at the end. Nathan and Peter are my favorite chars, but also are very symbolic of how family SHOULD stand by each other. I good example of a bad family member is their mother, which we STILL have not found out her power yet. My guess she has the power of super bitch, seriously who says after their kid gets assasinated “it had to be done”…way…to…go. I’m hoping that Nathan will come back, it would make sense since Peter knows his blood can cure him with his blood that it would happen. I wanted Mohinder and Parkman to die honestly…

o lol another thing…wtf is up with keeping the guatamalan or puertorican or w/e the hell she is chick on the show? Lol guaranteed 1 episode season 3 will be “Save the Puertorican Save the World”. If sylar gets her power he can kill a lot of people.

My hope is that, once this writer’s strike is over, the producers could work on making some filler episodes for season 2, considering how many gaps there are. And if they were to get done soon enough, then they could have the episodes play over the course of the summer.

I think that Nathan’s Dad killed Nathan (To keep the secret of people having powers).
Because most of the original heroes are dead.
The ONLY ones alive that we know of are

Bob
Mrs. Pertrailli (sry for the bad spelling)
Adam (in the ground)
Matt’s Dad
Maybe Mr. Pertrailli (They never showed how he died and never introduced him)

Therefore the only two people that could have killed Nathan are

Mr. Pertrailli
Bob

Some people think it is HRG but, Mrs. Pertrailli does not know HRG so why would she be talking to him.

As for the Pandora’s box I think that Mrs. Pertrailli was talking about Peter (He most likely will think that the Company killed him and will take revenge on them).

Very disapointed with the ending.

So the blood infusion only works once? Nathan isn’t going to just heal? I’m betting Niki went “She-Hulk” at the end and saved herself. But think about what that might have done to Micah who now has lost both parents. In the end his powers were obviously growing: he didn’t need contact with the street lights to command them. Now, he could be a depressed orphan with the power to command our electronic world.

The next volume is called Villains for a reason - there will be more than one. An insane Adam could escape and join with Sylar. And maybe more.

i agree with kevin mostly but i think it was mrs.petrelli, she had the clothes on and was probably bob, for three reasons.
1.She knew where they were going and was probably the one who was watching the video camera in the vent.
2.She still has connections to bob
3.she wasn’t shocked by the news and was talking about how it had to be done.

I COULD have been mrs.petrelli, but I don’t think that they would do that. I would be a MUCH bigger twist if mr.petrelli killed Nathan

The woman who could access Internet without connection and stuff. Maybe not the most important thing but yeah, you get my point…there’s a lot of things they need to clear up in season 3.

And about Adam teaming up with Sylar, I bet he Sylar would only try to kill and get Adam’s powers anyway.

I think it could be a future version of Peter. Who as come back to save the special ones. Because in a possible future Nathan declaring that there are people with powers causes pandamonium ( i think i spelt it right) And the special ones will get hunted down and killed.

Or it could be an interesting way to introduce Mr Petrelli.

Which ever it is a i am loving the show. Its amazing, if the ride every ends ( which i hope it doesn’t ) the end will be big. Every one is tending to forget that. How hard is it for a tv show to top the finale of the season before. Its hard so to build gradully to a big end is a lot better.

Mrs. Petrelli said that the only way to kill Adam/ Peter is to shoot them in the head or cut it off, but in season one sylar try to cut off peter’s head to eat his brain but it regenerated. Do you think it is a continuity mistake?

…also peter got a piece of glass stuck in his head, from sylar in season one, he did die but when the glass was pulled out peter regenerated, so technically they can’t really die even if they were shot in the head. Also, their heads wouldn’t be able to be chopped off so that is also out of the question

I don’t think that some kind of “Future Char” shot Nathan, because I don’t think that Angela would then talk to him on the phone. A “Future Char” would’nt either just walk out, but “beam” out.
I don’t think that Adam would join Sylar, because Sylar wants Adam’s ability too badly…
I’m not even sure that HRG killed Nathan becaue in the Scenes ahead he was with his family, so how could he get there so fast?

I hope they get started season 3 very soon. Pity, that we just had 11 episodes, there could have been so much more stuff to fill in.
I hope the title “Villains” doesn’t include Sylar that much, I mean, how many people is he supposed to kill`? They HAVE to intruduce new Heroes Sylar can kill. On the other Hand I don’t think that the producers want to make Sylar too mighty… I wonder if he’s aorund for a longer time…

I’m definitely agreeing with the vibe about Season 2. We didn’t really get the answers that Tim Kring was talking about last season as well as the ones from this season.

Why didn’t we get to see Arthur. They kept “showing” him via a blurred turned face making us anxious to see him but then they didn’t. The volume was called generations, if there ever was a volume to show his face or even mention something about him it was Volume II.

We actually know more from the graphic novel than the actual series.
In the graphic novel we learnt Arthur Petrelli was in the army with Mr. Linderman. While in the series we didn’t learn jack about Arthur, well we learnt he was in a group of 12 in the company, which is kind of useless if you ask me. I have no problem with the whole secrecy of Arthur, but I just hate the whole build up to nothing in Volume II.

But at least Tim Kring did admit to his mention about the pace of Volume II, I only hope that Volume III is much more consistient.

I agree, I don’t see how Adam could survive if he didn’t have any oxygen. I know he’s invicible but even he needs oxygen.

But I disagree about Noah being the shooter, I just don’t see him as the shooter, it aslo seems to “simple” and doesn’t compliment to the writers complex style.
Even though as crazy as it sounds, I do see someone from the future shooting Nathan. It wouldn’t be the first time someone came from the future & we have already seen what happened when the general public found out about those with special abilities.
The shadowy figure could even be a new villian, maybe someone working for the company.

Just a comment about “Powerless”, I think they tried to cram too much content into that episode, which is why it felt so short. And definitely agree that Nathan & Hiro were a bit out of character & was probably due to writers strike. This was probably the reshoot that was mentioned a couple of weeks ago. I hope they put the unaltered ‘Powereless’ on DVD, I would definitely watch that.

I would have liked to see the virus shatter and them continuing on to Exodus had there not been a writers’ strike. However, this storyline is very interesting too. I don’t like how Maya and Sylar’s storyline is weakly weaved into the bigger picture but hey, not much they could have done there unless they stop the story during the writers’ strike and continue afterwards. Surely though we would probably end up forgetting much of the plot had they done that.

PS. I hope Nathan doesn’t die. This relationship with Peter helped saved the world…twice =) …even though Peter was the cause both times. =/

okay I freezed framed it this is my theroy. Who did not want to be exposed? Wes, my thinking is Noah HRG went to him since HRG is back in the company and since Wes is the only one to make it there in time he was the one who shot Nathan. Problem solved no leak and Wes is happy leading his hidden life. Now that is just my idea.

Peter can’t heal anyone only himself, it was Adam who healed Nathan the first time around and without Claires blood, nope. Pandora’s box is Peter because he will be ticked. Yeah Sylar is alive and kicking next for him will be Maya, the Claire…..lol

Also don’t feel fully satisfied, epis. 10 shattered, inconsistent - i think it’s to many plots badly led. Overall I think the first volume much better, even though the amount of tv drama (noah and family; micah etc…) was quite significant.

The mexican pair take part -> racial and social tolerance dudes, political correctness above all! Pity she can’t focus/limit ability to one person.

Anyway I respect the series - never miss an episode.

It couldn’t have been Mr. Petrelli, he died of a heart attack or something in season 1 and Nathan took over as Linderman’s attorney early on cause of that remember?

Unless Linderman went to primatech and got blood from Adam to give to Mr. Petrelli and then kept him somewhere just for this moment to shoot his son, i doubt it

Also, the press conference was in Odessa is i remember right and took place after the Primatech Paper thing
We dunno how much time passed between Noah leaving to go back to the company and the Primatech Paper assault, and we dunno how much time passed between the assault and the press conference, so we can’t rule out Noah as the shooter

im just wondering how hiro and adam end up in the coffin at first, before hiro teleport back again. isnt the small space in that coffin make them in contact and it might be hard for hiro to teleport back alone? weird.. unless when they arrive in that coffin, hiro stops time giving him some privacy to teleport back without touching adam.

So…. in response to the comment about Arthur Petrelli dying from a heart attack in season 1, we did not actually see anything… so that could have easily been fabricated by himself or the company. Also, the fact that his image in the founders’ picture was blurred suggests that we still have yet to see him at some point.

I think that either HRG or Arthur Petrelli killed Nathan. Though… I’m leaning more towards Arthur Petrelli. The body of the person walking away in that scene (the assassin) does not look like the same build as HRG… plus he is wearing a long coat, which we NEVER see HRG wear. It seems like it just doesn’t fit for it to be him (though the motives would makes sense). Arthur Petrelli has not yet been formally introduced, dead or not… we haven’t even seen a proper picture of him. It would make sense for the writers to introduce him anonymously at the end of this season/volume.

I think the idea that it is someone from the future (Peter?) is interesting but I doubt that future Peter would actually kill Nathan… unless he knew that present Peter would heal him… anyway… hope this writers’ strike gets sorted out soon!

Alright ready for this…my little theory of how everyone is connected here…People on here keep talking about a Mr. Petrelli…but it has been 1 and 1/2 seasons (volume 3 is really just the second half to season 2) and there has been no talk whatsoever about a Mr. Petrelli. However we do know that Claire’s father is Nathan, and that Claire’s power is regeneration (simple stuff right?). Yet I think that Mrs. Petrelli had a thing with Adam…since she said that she was helping him before she realized how wrong it was. Also, a fact about genes is many genes are “ignored” in the offspring generation, but the gene shows up in the 2nd generation. So bam…

Mrs. Petrelli (power?) + Adam (Regeneration) = Peter (absorption of powers) and Nathan (flight)

Nathan (flight) + Fire lady (from season 1) = Claire (regeneration) [she is the 2nd generation of the petrelli family that is introduced in the show so far...]

Also, has anyone noticed how Peter is the one that is somewhat in the middle of the conflicts? Blowing up New York…Helping Adam reach the virus… So following that pattern, once again, Peter will be the one that is going to help the most in killing these “villains” such as Sylar (..definitely)

so yea…the person that shot Nathan = Noah…since he will do anything to make sure his family is save and because he is regarded by Bob as the “best” at what he does for the company…

In my opinion they really need to tie in ALL the characters more…since Nikki, Micca, and his cousin (?) hardly were tied in with the rest of the plot…

I don’t think Peter is THAT stupid, he could use Clairs blood.
I also don’t think some one from future shot Nathan, because in that case, Mrs. Petrelli couldn’t have said it had to be done. I’m nearly 100% sure it was some one from the company as we saw clearly the three (peter, Nathan and mat) were filmed by a cam in the company (the same as in Mohinder’s lab).
Sylar MIGHT want Adam’s power, but yet he does not now anything about him. Also, why would he bother searching for him when there is an invincible cheerleader running around?
But first of all, I think Sylar would want to revenge the company for what they did to him (judging by his reaction when he found out what they did to him)

By the way, could some one explain me how in a world did they know that Adam can be killed by blowing his head off? I mean, they haven’t tried it, have they?
Also, have you noticed that Maya already had the gunshot wound just before she was shot? That is so stupid..

Niki, Micah and Monica were very well connected to the company by Niki, but since Niki is probably dead, they must find them a new connection (new characters, maybe) or just kill them in one big explosion with matt parkmen muahahahaha (joking)

Its a running theme in the show that if you destroy the brain then the heroe’s power will not work. Suresh senior said that the power’s originate from the brain as well.

ex. Claire got that wood stuck in the back of her head in one of the early episodes, was dead, and then came back to life on the coroner’s table once the stick was pulled out.

Peter got the glass in the back of the head by sylar - which killed him - then he came back to life when the glass was pulled out by claire.

Linderman got DL’s fist through the back of his head..and died. He could heal other’s but I don’t know if he could heal himself.

someone mentioned earlier that there may be a mistake about the fact dat ppl who can regenerate can be killed through the brain. but in season 1 sylar was slicing peter’s brain and yet peter still lived. hmm good point there.

Its not said who Angela was talking to. She could have been talking to Bob. I doubt that she was talking to the assassin. Whoever she was talking to is an authority figure.
I think HRG is the very possible assassin. Something about the way he told Bob that “It’s done” after telling his family what was up suggests that they’d be some nasty things he was going to have to do.

Talking about Adam. Anyone remember Kill Bill? Surely a samurai master like Kensei could get himself out.
But if he’s down there without food, does that mean he’ll fall into a vegetative-dead state until he gets out or until eternity? They never explained the eating part. Does Adam need to eat to live?
Where did Hiro take the body that was in the coffin?
Was that writing on top of that grave?

Since the bad future doesn’t happen thanks to Peter, where is Caitlin?

I think it’s quite possible that in “Villians,” Sylar and Adam will team up, seems very predictable that Sylar with his amplified hearing would be able to hear Adam yelling from his grave. His first inclination might be to kill Adam and take his power, unless Adam tempts him with all his talk about eradicating mankind (remember, Sylar also wanted to blow up NY in volume one b/c he knew he’d eventually get to become president). Plus, as someone already said, Sylar can still get that ability from Claire… he does have her stolen car after all (anyone catch that?), and it’s just a matter of time before he finds an ID or registration or something that leads him to her in Costa Verde.

It’s likely that the writers have not even decided who it is that shot Nathan. Not everything winds up happening as planned with this show; for instance, it doesn’t seem like the writers necessarily planned for Adam to be Kaito’s killer right from episode 1 - Kaito said “of all of them, I never expected you” but considering the way their story eventually got written, Adam should have been the first person Kaito suspected, especially once he escaped his cell.

Regarding killing the three “invincibles” (Adam, Peter, Claire)… the assumption is that destroying the brain would mean that the body would no longer have to ability to regenerate. Peter was able to heal when Sylar started slicing open his head because Sylar was being sure not to damage the brain, since he needs them intact to absorb powers (proven by Eden shooting herself in the head to prevent her power from being stolen). When Claire and Peter each got stabbed in the brain, they did die, but once the obstruction was removed the brain was able to heal. It’s safe to assume, however, that if the brain were to be damaged beyond repair, the death would be irreversible.

I’m pretty sure Caitlin has been written out of existance. She was left in a future that no longer takes place. She has been erased. :-p

What I want to know is this: if the Company has Adam in captivity all this time, why has anyone from the Company EVER died? Wouldn’t they just keep taking his blood and healing people with it? Thompson, Eden, Linderman, Arthur Petrelli, Charles Duveuax (spelling?), Simone, that doctor that Sylar killed when he escaped… they all should have been brought back with Adam’s blood. Or, if they weren’t going to use him, why didn’t they just kill him? Apparently everyone knows how to do it (lol).

Why do people think Sylar will free Adam? Adam was buried in Japan. There’s no way Sylar can use his super hearing to hear all the way to Japan to that specific graveyard to know Adam was there. Sylar doesn’t even know Adam exists, he can’t search for someone he doesn’t know. If Adam escapes, he will probably have to get out on his own.

The reason why Peter never died when Sylar was slicing his head was coz Sylar never managed to cut off his head completely or Peter would have died then. Remember the episode in the future? Sylar managed to kill Clare then, its reasonable to say Peter would die if Sylar managed to cut off his head completely.

Why is everyone against poor nathan, instead of flying give him a new developed power, like controling wing, or levitation, i dont know, but give him more instead of flying, but he’s an awsome character, tell me what do you have against nathan, i preffer 10 times chidish hiro and victim claire dead than noble brave nathan. Hail the petrelli brothers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, if you have something against him write me more coments…

As to how Hiro can bury Adam? It’s simple. He teleport, stopped time then bury him. And then get the hell out of there!

Maybe in volume 3, when Peter, Nathan & Matt appear, Nathan is taken to an ambulance with Peter at his side and maybe Matt is going after the assasin, losing track on him, while the brothers make way to the hospital, where Peter is desperate on what he can do to save Nathan who is dying, they arrive in the hospital and Nathan is taken to the emergency room and Peter outside the emergency room, but makes himself invicible and enter the emergency room, where Nathan’s vital signs are fadding, and tha is when Peter remembers when Adam saved Nathan with his blood being unsure his blood can save him (hope the healing blood transfusion can work permanetly, cause Nathan has recive it once, but whe dont know if it may work again, I HOPE), so thats when he thinks about Claire, and then knows where she is, spoting her in Costa Verde (HOPE PETER HAS MOLLY’S HABILITY OF FINDING PEOPLE AND TELEPORT HIMSELF FROM HIROS’S HABILITY), Nathan is about to die when Peter invisible enters the door causing panic in the room by the medics and nurses, grabs a neil and grabs Nathan where Nathan’s about dead body disapears from the emergency room. Then a flash back of Claire who is in her house hears from the TV that is on that on the news she hears the name Nathan Petrelli shot, where she panics and she the situations, watching Peter and a dying Nathan, the sudenly Peter with bloody dying Nathan appears at the Bennet/Butler House, then Peter desperatly begs Claire her help, that she can use her bloos in order to save Nathan, and Claire was thinking the same, cause if her blood could save her adoptive dad, she can save her biological doughter (Chandra and Lile are stuness about whats going on), Claire sees the infection, and grabs it, she stabs her self so she can take an infushion and Claire infects it to Nathan, curing him from his bullet wounds… A GOOD WAY TO BRING NATHAN BACK READ THIS… NATHAN’S LIFE DEPENDS ON THIS COMMENT, DELIVER IT TO KRING, AND IS SO A GOOD WAY TO REUNITE PETER/CLAIRE/NATHAN.

NIKKI: Everyone says that Jessica will come back, but how, she is still infected by the Shanti virus, and she doesnt have her strenght nor Jessica nor Gina on her side to save her, but there are many ways, because, in 2×11 whe only see the warehouse explode, not her (she wasnt show blowing up didn’t she), maybe some new hero expected for Volume 3 enter the old bulding and saved her, that’s a good theory, she has to come back, or maybe someone from the Company, a villian perhaps from the Company, and maybe there was still some of Claire’s blood that Bob took from Claire and it was used on Nikki, but is required Mohender’s antibodies, and he only maked two samples that have now been used on Sylar and Maya, soo who know, my only conclusion is that Nikki survived just as Nathan.

The only think i didn’t understand is when Mrs Petrelli talks to a stranger on cellphone about a certain recently opened “Pandora’s Box”, HOPE IT IS NOT REFERED TO PETER, BECAUSE IF SHE SAID THAT, THAT MEANS NATHAN’S DEAD IS OFFICIAL, CAUSE IF PETER HAS LOST WHAT HE MOST DEARS, HE WILL UNLEASS HIS DESTRUCTIVE POWER TO THE WORLD WITH NO FORGIVENESS FOR NATHAN’S POSSIBLE VOLUME 3 BEGGINING DEATH, I HOPE 3 TREE GOES DIRECTLY ON THE EVENTS ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED ON NATHAN’S ATTACK (like it was said by Kring, that volume 2 ends with what will happen next,), HOPE MONTHS HAVEN’T PASSED WHEN VOLUME 3 BEGGINS, I THINK VOLUME 3 WILL FOLLOW THE TRILLED MOMENTS OF VOLUME 2, CAUSE IF MONTHS OR TIME HAS PASSED, THAT WILL MEAN FOR SURE NATHAN’S DEAD, BUT NOT NIKKI’S FATE.
