Effects/ powers are always overly exaggerated so this should be expected. I dont think the actual show will ever become that. Part of my enjoyment of Heroes is that no one walks around wearing a costume, or has a chiseled jaw, or just look implausible. These three folks do all of those things, which kind of screwed it up for me. Oh well, not all of them can be perfect. I also still have a problem with Peter's scar. I understood why he would have had it when Hiro first went back, because Peter never met Claire, so never had healing powers. But I don't understand why he would have it after meeting Claire. I think it would have been nice to remove Peter's scar, and have Hiro notice and comment on it being gone, so he (and us) could truly perceive that the timeline had changed slightly.
