yeah…. the scar is from the explosion… that hapened 2 years prior to this novel

i dont think that looks like peter from tv at all- im disappointed- usually the novelists do a really good job with the look-alikes, but this was not that close- peter looks too old and looks like he has gray hair

why didnt peter stop time when he saw that hiro was being attacked? maybe he does in part 2

this new assortment of dark heroes (lightning guy and speedy) looks like the brotherhood on xmen with magneto and callisto (i think callisto’s the fast one)

Yeah, these Dark Heroes feel a bit too comic book, to me. Part of my enjoyment of Heroes is that no one walks around wearing a costume, or has a chiseled jaw, or just look implausible. These three folks do all of those things, which kind of screwed it up for me. Oh well, not all of them can be perfect.

I also still have a problem with Peter’s scar. I understood why he would have had it when Hiro first went back, because Peter never met Claire, so never had healing powers. But I don’t understand why he would have it after meeting Claire. I think it would have been nice to remove Peter’s scar, and have Hiro notice and comment on it being gone, so he (and us) could truly perceive that the timeline had changed slightly.

But it is a comic book…comic books have a unique style all to their own. Effects/ powers are always overly exaggerated so this should be expected. I dont think the actual show will ever become that. I think if anything its going to stay the course a la Matrix,lol

Oh god, this is terrible. The thing I love about Heroes is that it’s cool but there are no lighting force fields and emblemed spandex wearing, cleft chinned muscle builders. This is comic book-ish and far too stupid for me.
