A few days ago, at the MCM Expo in London, digitalspy.co.uk had the opportunity to sit down and talk with Greg Grunberg (Matt Parkman on Heroes). Greg wasn’t shy to reveal important pieces of information (yes…spoilers!) regarding the fourth volume of Heroes: FUGITIVES. Since these are heavy-duty Heroes spoilers we’ll post a few snippets (and the link to the full article) after the ‘Continue…’ jump
here’s some snippets:
I hear you’ve started filming volume four, ‘Fugitives’. What can you say about that?
“We’re shooting episode two of Fugitives right now. It puts us all in a Guantanamo Bay kind of a situation. We’ve all bagged and tagged and we’re on our way to being killed. What’s great about it is that we all have to work together. We’re all thrown into this terrible situation and have to work together to get out of it, find out who’s in charge of [doing] this and stop them. There’s a new character called ‘The Hunter’ and he’s coming after all of us.”
And do you think Matt could be a villain at any point? It doesn’t seem likely…
“It doesn’t seem likely, but I do go very, very dark. I haven’t shot that stuff yet but it’s one of the only times they’ve ever come to me and said ‘we’re thinking about doing this, what do you think?’ I was like ‘yeah!’ It’s a great thing because I don’t think anyone would expect me to stay there. It’s justified why I go dark. There’s a reason. I mean, Brea (Grant, aka The Speedster/Daphne) is a villain on the show…”
We’ve seen Matt and The Speedster’s respective storylines become closely intertwined in the last couple episodes. Does that continue?
“It does, and hopefully people want us to stay together!”

It’s not as big of a spoiler as it sounds. Hardly even a spoiler at all, more like an description of Volume 4’s premise.
well, it kind of is a huge spoiler because it indicates that the heroes lose to the villains in vol.3.
speaking of this “the hunter” guy,
why does my head kept telling me it’s HRG?
a new character called ‘The Hunter’
the “we” parkman talks about could be the villains, i dont think so but there still is no reason to exclude it
The Hunter is HRG + powers
exactly…
I dont exactly get it, how do you guys get to the conclusion that the heroes will be defeated in Volume 3?
i hate theorys -_-…..its not HRG! its an ugly balding guy in hislate 50’s very scrawny i dont see how he is a threat yet I wonder what HRG will be doing during the hunt for the heroes..
wow major spoilers…here it is we will learn that sylars hunger was provoked and like peter he does’nt need to slice open heads to recieve the ability well that all for today
The Hunter could be a guy like HRG, you know with the same knowledge and experience, but in addition to the knowledge and experience he could have a power. Maybe the same power as the Haitian does.
Think about it, a guy like HRG with the power of the Haitian…dont know about you guys but I think that would scare some of the special people
im getting the feeling the heroes and villians war will reveal all to the world and this will cause their capture?
All i know is all the heroes will be in one location helping each other as they escape i mean c’mon all those ppl w/ powers and they cant escape he must have some advantage over them but i wonder why they are in the jungle
Maybe this was the future that future Peter was preventing from happening, and in the first episode Peter told Claire “It wouldn’t be like this if they never known about us, no games, no experiments, no more hiding underground HUNTED like this”..
because (maybe) if their abilities were not exposed by Nathan, there wouldn’t be a Hunter???
Just a thought…
The Hunter is Claire. wo ahha hahah hahaha
haven’t they already spoiled what will happen at the end of season 3 already?
a new eclipse will happen, that will rob the heroes of their abilities.
So the hunter must be taking advantage of that.
