I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: If they kill HRG, I am done with this show. They would be allowing infinitely less interesting characters to live while the most badass motherfucker on the show (Nathan is a close #2) to die. I know Isaac’s paintings usually come true, but this is one I hope doesn’t. Even If I’m interested in what happens, I will stop watching out of general principle.

I know Heroes fans hate it when Lost fans reference Lost, but when Lost kills someone, they do it for a reason. Even if the reason for HRG’s death is to make Claire stop acting like a stupid teenager, that reason is not good enough. Killing Lyle would accomplish the same thing.

just remember that sylar painted a future were he was in office and they changed the future … maybe a chance to change the future yet again :-p

Claire is getting more and more annoying, forgetting all that HRG ever did was for her safety. Just killer her already, Myler.

If Mohinder killed HRG then he would have gotten Claire with him as he was supposed to.I believe they are leaking out this picture to makes us think HRG is dead.So they either kill Claire’s father Nathan or (more likely) her mother….

Judging on the people behind Claire: West, Ms Bennet and Lyle, Mr Bennet is the ash in her daughter’s arms, no doubt.

uh. Didnt Jack Coleman in a interveiw after they showed the painting of him dead say that he wasnt going to die..i think we should stick to his word

It’s Claire’s toe that was cut in episode 2 and was burned in episode 10. so sad…

I don’t think HRG dies i just think that they want you to think that because of the picture but remember that that painting was the lAST in the seires of eight so the others have to happen first dont they? and beside they havn’t alwsys been right. the bomb picture didnt happen now did it so maybe HRG wont die. ( i can’t belive im acctually defending HRG) haha

I’m glad he’s going to die. He was just a puppet of the Company and now he’s useless.
I’m done with his ‘I’ll protect Claire no matter what’ act.

Dont be naive. If HRG Dies is right now one of the most important questions in the show. Do you think they would just let the answer slip out in a photo. They released that photo for a reason and thats to make us think hes dead.

Do you think that during the first season they would have released a photo of nathan flying with pete in his arms? HAhahahahA!

HRG is probably not dead. The publicity department knows what they are doing when they release photos. They want us to believe he’s dead. He’s probably not. Its some sort of plan to allow HRG to hide from “The Company”. Claire probably tells him she’s a big girl and doesn’t need protecting. Especially when she finds she is immortal like the 400 year old Adam “Takezo Kensei” Monroe.

Having him “dead” will allow his character to grow into the protector/hider of all supers. That is something we got a glimpse of in 5 Years Gone.
