The long wait is finally over, now it’s time to discuss (the excellent) episode #19, and also take a look at the previews (both NBC’s and Global-TV Canada) of next week’s episode of Heroes, episode #20 titled “Five Years Gone“.

And I thought the sylar/peter confrontation was superb! It could’ve lasted longer, but actually (for me) it could’ve lasted all day long
I’m really excited to take a glimpse of the future and seeing everyone with their developed powers! Can’t wait. I was afraid I would be disappointed after this long wait and all the spoilers and footage I had allready seen and read, but it was still amazing!!!
I switched the CDN promo with a better quality one. You don’t want to miss Peter ‘move’ at the end of the clip. So good it impresses also Future Hiro.
And Sylar a bad painter? Well….that was it first try wasn’t it? I think he was painting Nathan in the Oval Office.
The episodes just get better and better. Amazing.
And why do the Canadians always get the better promo!?
By the way, the episode name is actually “Five Years Gone.” At least, that’s what it says on herosite.net.

Looks like Sylar finally gets Claire. Unless we get to see another Peter Sylar matchup
Or has Sylar gotten Candice shapeshifting power and disposed of Nathan?

NBC PROMO: at 0:15 we see and hear Nathan in the Petrelli house with Claire saying ” I’m the most special person there is.”
at 0:07 we see a screenshot of a t.v with Sylar’s picture with “America Remembers” underneath.
GLOBAL PROMO: at 0:05 we have Sylar in the same room (redish/white lined wall) saying to Claire ” I’ve been waitng a long time for this.”

So, I think Sylar’s now the president as Nathan(he’s painted the president – an evil looking president), has had himself “saint-ified” in the media (maybe trying to stop the bomb),hired Mohinder to find the other specials and has now started to have them wiped out.
Dear me – I bet Sylar didn’t like to share his toys when he was a child. The man has a serious chip on his shoulder.;)
Anyway, this episode is looking as a “What if?” episode. We still have Hiro trying to change the timeline.
i want to see powerful darkside Peter. i wish that peter and sylar could have fought longer. peter went down way too easy, but i guess he doesn’t have as much experience with his powers. i cant wait for the next episode
Right On Carpejugulum! u think that Sylar has shape-shifting powers in the future, if i heard u correctly?! awesome idea! would explain why ‘heroes’ are being hunted in the future…hmmmm Cant Wait Til Next Week!
oh! and Issac went out like a true ummm Hero! lol i’m glad his character left something for the story that will help reveal details! his abilities still serve a purpose! brilliant writing by the way

The “America Remembers” with Sylar’s picture implies, to me, that the are blaming Sylar for the explosion, not Peter.
But I agree that Sylar can shape shift, and is pretending to be Nathan.
BTW, did anyone notice that they changed the shape shifting effect for last night’s episode? The whole background used to “vibrate” when she would slip out of it. Last night, it was just her morphing.
