In the future HRG’s role is simple. He was protecting all the supers. Hiding them from the government. He was even hiding Parkman’s wife and son. Parkman snapped when he found out about the two Hiro’s and he wanted to bring a super back for his boss Nathan. So he decided to get Claire. In the process he killed Hana & Bennett.
The only question that I have is: Was Parkman knowingly working FOR Sylar??
I thought it was cool that they killed off a majority of the cast in the future. I think the only regulars that survived were Peter, Niki & Mohinder. I’m pretty sure that if Heroes didn’t get picked up for season two, this would have been the finale..
Thankfully Heroes will be back, so they can go back in time and erase that future..
It looks like Hiro goes back in time to kill Sylar. Sylar still looks like plain old Gabriel in the promo.
Who is Molly really anyway? Maybe we’ll get to see her the rest of Season 2?

I think that when Hiro said that he stabbed Sylar, but Sylar regenerated (and Peter still says that he’s the bomb)Hiro actually stabbed Peter after Peter met Candice. Peter made the illusion that he was Sylar, so when he was stabbed, he regenerated and blew up anyway.
Does anyone know if Peter is in Season 2. I don’t think they can take him out because he is a fan favorite, but does anyone have an idea?
Something doesn’t look right about the Hiro-Sylar confrontation. There’s something a bit off about Sylar.
My prediction is that Sylar is actually Peter helping Hiro practice. Hiro and the writers of Heroes are smart enough to know that Sylar is just too powerful for Hiro and Sylar has put down far more powerful Heroes. Without some preparation and strategy, Hiro’s dead.
And judging from the angle of the sword wrt to “Sylar”, it should hit “Sylar” across the face at an angle. Future Peter had a scar across his face that looks like it was created by a sword. So putting 2 and 2 together, this is where Peter gets his scar — helping Hiro prepare. This time, however, he has Claire’s power so he should be able to heal so there will be no scar.
Wot do u mean Sylar is too powerful for Hiro. All Hiro has to do is pause time and stab the guy before Sylar can even do anything like telekinesis. Don’t underrate Hiro didn’t u see what he became in the future.
yes, but hiro should have frozen time before he even entered the apartment sylar was in. that way he wouldnt even have to worry about a confrontation. but i think peter really was illusioning as sylar when he blew up the city- thats why hiros sword didnt kill “sylar” even though claire was still alive. will someone please give me input on this- more in my above comment

That’s the problem. When Hiro is nervous his powers don’t work so he needs to lose that fear and keep focus even when possible death is staring him in the face. And if Sylar has other powers (e.g. disable powers from the Haitian or Invisibility or the ability to phase shift or powers like the ability to astro-project or the ability to cause paralyzing fear), he’s similarly in trouble.
The point is, Hiro doesn’t know how many powers Sylar has and neither do we so Hiro needs to prepare, both emotionally (he needs to be calm and he needs to be psychologically able to kill — neither will be easy) and physically.
I have a BIG problem with Peter’s heroic efforts to save the world in ‘Five Years Gone’. I mean, he knows that he’s the bomb and that he causes the destruction to NY, but he lets Hiro and Ando return to the present/past believing that they need to kill Sylar! That really isn’t gonna stop anything now is it? Stupid Peter! What a waste of time (lol) that episode was – Hiro and Ando are sent on a pointless and potentially very dangerous quest to kill the wrong guy! I reckon that Nathan will sacrifice himself by flying an imminently-exploding Peter up into the stratosphere, hence the clip of him running towards Peter in NY. of course, with his regenerative powers that still means Peter can survive for season 2! As for Hiro vs Sylar…I gotta say, I don’t fancy the sword-wielding guys chances!
Here’s the deal; sylar apparently has been signed for season two, but molly can supposedily stop him, then she probaly does because she lives five years later (well,this is to be comfirmed becuase when they said she was in homeland security the other two people they named her with were dead ie.Candice and D.L) but she doesn’t die in the expolision if she makes it to homeland security. I don’t think that the reason she survived sylar’s killing of her parents had anything to do with her powers. I think she just hid.
