Okay…

This was the perfect ending to season 1. Why? Well, its quite simple.

Every generation of heroes has a good vs. evil scenario. It is how it has always been. Re-watch Charles Deveaux and his conversation with Peter. Peter’s purpose was to balance the evil. He is good. He uses love.

Sylar, on the other hand, was the evil. He was hate, and he was power.

Good vs. Evil.

*Theory*
Linderman vs Deveaux. Evil vs Good. Both Linderman and Sylar believed one thing: The ends justified the means, no matter how evil they were.

You saw the present good vs evil, now you will see the past good vs evil.

GG. Stop nay saying of that which you don’t understand.

Peter didn’t die (he can regenerate…he might be left with a scar because of the extent of his injuries but he’s still alive)

Sylar is alive (well, we spoiled that for you when we posted Zachary Quinto’s ‘I’ll be back’ video)

Nathan: maybe dead. But on Heroes ‘dead’ doesn’t mean ‘we’ll never see again’ (Simone was the latest example)

Linderman: he’s still alive. He had a contingency plan (and that’s a ‘rumor’ based on the fact Malcom McDowell said he’ll be in a few episodes next year)

Claire, Hiro: we knew already they were going to be in the next season.

All that taken in account I assume next year will see -again- the action take part in the past/present/future.

It’s going to be fun.

okay peter can’t die. he just can’t. i agree with the person who brought up the point that he can regenerate. he’ll probably pop up in a crucial moment in the next season. my thought is that he is lost and spends the whole season trying to get home and find claire. or at least that is what i hope!

I dont think Nathan dies … Why does Peter want Nathan to fly him up? He can do it himself, probably he would have forgotten the fact that he can fly :D And in mid air, they would have decided: “Hey Nathan, I can fly … Leave me … ” and then Peter would have flown off …, leaving Nathan to hover and get a close up of the action :)

Hmm after reading other posts, I have a doubt as to whether Nathan can be alive. But hey, why did peter lose control of his power, specifically the explosion, in the first place? I dont understand this … What would happen if he lost control of Telekinesis?

Maybe its some other “evil” factor that has forced Peter to lose control of that ability … Someone probably, who people think, “dragged” Sylar into the manhole cover… There is simply no way by which he would have gone there himself!

And, I think Sylar, before he “died” used Isaac’s ability to find out how about the future, … probably he had seen someone coming and saving him etc…

It seems the nuclear power is hard to control under the best of circumstances; keep in mind Peter was under a lot of stress, involved in a fight, and had just absorbed a new ability (or four, depending on his range). He couldn’t fly himself because he was spending every ounce of willpower slowing down the nuclear reaction.

As for Linderman, I don’t think he survived. It’s already been said that at least part of next season takes place in the past; I don’t think they only meant Feudal Japan.

Peter can’t be dead because in the future he was the bomb and he lived, plus hes on the list of actors who are going to be playing in season 2. So is nathan though I have concerns he may be dead..it may be why molly cried when it happened. Though I think they prob will keep them alive..

Remember what he said..
”You saved the cheerleader, so we could save the world”

They posed a lot of new cliffhangers, aswell as solved much of the old ones. As always… :(

Onto this video anyway..It looks like hes travaled back to the age of feudal Japan. If you listen to what the other samurai says ”Kensai”.
Could it be Hiro? Since it looks like it suggest he is of the same blood line. It could be Hiro’s Dad remember what he said ”I’ve been waiting for [second name] to ascend”.

Can’t wait for season 2 ^-^:D:D:D:D:D:D

heroesftw:
The future episode was _clearly_ told: “What if the heroes failed”. The future which Hiro is in, isnt always real. Come on, we have seen it many times! When Hiro saw the first bomb explosion, it was “day time” ! How can it be day when Peter exploded clearly in the night?

You cannot (in general) base any fact that you have seen now on Episode 20… The future is not written in stone :) :) :)

Also:
The guy who wields the sword Hiro had, was clearly portrayed by Hiro’s Father himself…

But there is another story that can make all this worse… What if Sylar actually exploded after he saw the city was “safe”? But this wouldnt make sense unless:
1. He is alive …
2. He has a “new” regenerating ability that can save him after the explosion …

Also, remember the Future episode portrayed “Ando” DEAD? He is alive now, thanks to Hiro.

And what the hell Sylar was doing when he saw Hiro running in front of him with the sword? Over confidence — perhaps :)

The problem with this episode is, it hasnt cleared most of the questions. This arises the possibility of many poeple putting in a lot of theories confusing everyone … And that the story could take on any direction from here. We have seen Good win over evil in the first season … for a change, why not Evil have a payback in the 2nd season?

I know I am out of my mind… This is what the episode has done to me :) :)

I think you guys are all forgetting another clue that molly gave… “i cant locate him… cause he can see me” = is that the true villian!?!?!

Peter = alive..
Nathan = i hope he is.. but i have my doubt…

apprently one thing i have learned from Tim Kring.. is that he has no problem killing characters, so i wont be surprised…

Parkman- i wonderwhat he will be doing in the next season…

ANYONE KNOW WHEN THE NEW SEASONS START??

The reason peter lost control of the nuclear power ability was because it was a new ability he couldn’t control. Ted couldn’t control it when he first manifested. Peter was getting angry as he was punching sylar which started the reaction involuntarily. I don’t think either peter or nathan are alive because they had to of flown high enough to keep the city safe. Also about peter being able to fly. I know if I was about to explode and bring down everything I knew and loved with me I wouldn’t be thinking very clearly.

The best way would of been to shoot him in the chest like how Matt shot Claire in “Company Man”. He would of died but he could spit up the bullet like how claire did. They just wanted a sad dramatic ending but it wasn’t as sad as I thought it would be. I’m not to attached to the characters just the story line. The only character I would be angry if they killed would be Hiro.

lol Peter said “I can’t do anything.” so it probably means that he lost control of all his powers, and he couldn’t stop being the explosion. So I guess that Nathan’s dead, woot and Ando’s alive! Yatta! And I don’t think that Peter’s dead, he’ll probably show up somewhere in the middle because Hiro is far behind the past before all of the heroes in Volume 1 were even born. lol, just a thought. Oh I was disappointed not knowing Angela’s powers -.- but it was really good. Although Nathan’s death was expected xD

Oh and by the way, I’m still waiting for an eclipse! lmao *thinks* can’t wait for volume II
