Heroes Novel 55 - The Trial of the Black Bear

Takezo Kensei is one of Japan’s most beloved historical figures. His tales, based on actual events, have now become a blend of legend and fact.
Kensei is recognized for saving his countrymen from a terrible and tyrranical warlord. But how the fabled swordsman accomplished this is still interpreted from many different perspectives…

Yeah and why is Kensei asian? HAS THE WORLD GONE MAD?

Well, as the intro stated, fact vs. fiction over time leads to a mixed story when translated over time. This is why Hiro is a “Chuffa Chuffa!” spewing little eye-glasswearng bear-ish creature…
I guess the inspiration for this novel was to prove and have fun with actual events that have been misinterpreted over time. Funny thing is that it does have a sense of truth to it even though it’s absolutely absurdity — Hiro actually exists and seems to help Kensei be it that is all done in modern day Manga style. I guess the legend continues…
What if any significance this has to the storyline of the show as compared to other novels? prolly nothing…

yeah people… read the intro before you comment.

I think it’s one of the funniest heroes comics
It does’t reflects the “real” facts, but indeed, read the introduction
