Peter is in the streets in New York, watching as some people in protective clothes take him and Caitlin. He shouts her name, but suddenly find himself in Montreal, next to Adam. He says Peter never left, but he shows an evacuation notice from the future to him. He tells Adam what the virus would do if it spread out. He also tells the name of it -Shanti virus-. Adam says it was Victoria Pratt, who worked for the Company as a biological engineer and recovered the virus from Shanti and tried to manipulate it into a weapon. He shows Peter the photo of the twelve founders of the Company.

Bennet home, Costa Verde, CA: Susan is pointing a gun to Bob, who is holding an urn said to contain Noah’s ashes. He tells the family his death was due to his aggression. Sandra says the others they leave tonight. As Bob gets in the car, tells Elle to keep an eye on Claire to regain his trust.

Noah wakes up and discovers his savior is the man who killed him, Mohinder. When Mohinder says Claire’s blood saved him, he becomes angry, then hears Claire is at home, safe. Mohinder says he will take the cure to Niki. Noah says the Company made that virus and been experimenting with it for 30 years.

New Orleans: Micah bought a lot of comic books and Niki came back to him. She tells him she has a virus. He wants to show her DL’s medal, in his backpack, but it’s gone.

Sylar, Maya and Alejandro made it and now stays in Cook Lane, Virginia. Sylar tries persuading Maya to let her brother go, because she can learn how to control her power. He makes her eyes go black, then she controls and stops it.

Tokyo, Japan: Hiro and Ando find a photo of the twelve at Kaito’s things. They seek Adam in it, but can’t find him. Ando asks how could it be possible, then Hiro says he could heal from any wound, thus survive time as well. Hiro realizes he must have lead a trail.

Searsmont, Maine: Peter and Adam arrived at Victoria’s home. Adam holds a gun. Peter suggests the less aggressive way but Adam stills wants to give him the gun, he refuses. Peter finds Victoria in her garden. He recognizes him from the photo. First she refuses, then pulls out a shotgun, pointing it to Peter. He says in the Shatni virus will be released in 24 hours and he tells the consequences. She asks how can anyone know what happens a year from now, then Peter says he has been there. He asks for help, but she pulls the shotgun commanding him to go inside.

Hiro finds a photo of young Victoria, Kensei and young Kaito. He turns it, seeing the photo had been taken in Oct. 1977 and learns Kensei is using the name Adam Monroe. They find an order to lock up Adam, dated Nov. 2, 1977. He teleports to the exact date and place.

It’s the Primatech Research Facility, an alarm is going on. Two guards are holding Adam. Kaito says he betrayed them, but Adam says he tried to save the world, because the famine, the constant war and the disregard of environment could be stopped by releasing it. Kaito says the guards to lock him up. He stops the alarm and goes to Victoria, who defended the virus from Adam. She tells someone helped Adam and she doesn’t want to work on it anymore. She says they should destroy the virus, but Kaito refuses. Hiro teleports out.

Back to Peter, Victoria tells him she knew someone would come to kill her. She says he looks like his mother, but he tells her the last time he saw her was a year from now. He tells her about Caitlin, that Victoria has to help him to save her. She gives Peter the exact name, but a false location of the virus. As he walks back to Adam, Victoria shoots both. She tries to blow Adam’s head off, because it’s the only way to get rid of him, but suddenly, Peter knokcs her out.

Maya tells his brother the good news, that she can control her power, but he shows him an article he got from the police of Sylar killed his mother. He admits it, saying it was an accident, because she wanted to kill him -we know that was the first and last time he killed by accident-. Maya seems to understand it and she sends Alejandro away, telling she wanted his wife dead in her heart.

Adam ties Victoria into a chair, she tells Peter that Adam wants to release the virus, because 30 years ago he couldn’t. Peter says they want to destroy the virus. Adam adds, he broke into the lab to prevent the Company from putting the World in danger. She says Adam is a killer and if Peter helps him, he’s one too, like his parents. Peter doesn’t seem to be concerned and says Adam helped him escape the Company and saved Nathan’s life, but what she were part of will bring an end to the World. He reads her mind and learn the virus is in Primatech Paper Odessa, Texas. Adam releases her and she wants to shoot Peter, but Adam shots her from behind. He tells Peter she wanted to take his head off. Peter leaves, while Adam takes out Victoria’s teared out photo and draws the helix onto that with his blood, saying if anyone survives, he’ll tell them he couldn’t have done it without her.

New Orleans: Damon wanted to know how much Micah’s comics were worth, but he got beaten up and had been taken the backpack. Micah attacks him, Niki pulls him off and he says Niki they should get it back, not the police, that they can be heroes like DL. Niki tells him being a hero is what got DL killed.

Sylar is packing when Alejandro visits him, saying he taking his sister. They fight, Sylar knocks him to the ground, grabs a knife and kills him. Maya knocks on the door and he comes out, pretending he just had shower. She says he was right about everything and without him, she would still be somewhere in Mexico, then they kiss.

Costa Verde, CA: Claire is seeking her wind chime to call the Haitian with it to help her forget his dad, but West tells him forgetting isn’t the answer.

New Orleans: Monica wakes Micah up at night, telling she knows where those kids live who stole his bag and as long as he stays out of the way, safe, he could come.

Mohinder finished the cure for the virus and it’s working well. Mohinder found out about strain 138, Bob tells him it’s locked safely away in Texas. He asks help from Bob to destroy all kinds of the strain. Then Mohinder calls Niki, telling he made the cure and will bring it to her, Niki wants to tell Micah the good news, but she doesn’t find him in bed

Micah figures out with his ability there’s no one in the thieves’ house. As he shuts the streetlight off, Monica watches some parkour moves in her iPod, then she makes it to the balcony and enters the house. Meanwhile, the gang arrives, she hides on the ceiling, but a comic drops out from the bag, so the thugs notice her and points guns at her. They grab her, knock her out and throw into the van. Micah flees.

The Bennet family and West is at the beach. Claire pours the urn’s content into the water. She goes to West to say goodbye and as she hugs him, he notices Elle, spying on her while drinking Slusho. While she runs there, Elle wants to start the car, but she pours the juice onto her because of her tied arm and gets out of the car. She tells Elle, she will tell the world how they kidnapped him and murdered her father, then she smashes the window of Elle’s car.

Mohinder is in a cab with the cure, when Sylar calls him, who is next to Molly. He tells Mohinder he brought someone who needs help.

Hiro teleports back to Ando, telling him Adam wants a virus and it’s in Odessa and he must stop him. Ando asks how can he stop him, Hiro adds he must try to avenge his father’s death and save the world. He teleports to Primatech Paper Co. with his sword.

Adam and Peter have already arrived there. Adam tells Peter the paper company is just the front, the laboratories are 3 floors down. As he says these words, Hiro suddenly stops time, but Peter has that ability so he can move. Peter turns around to notice Hiro. He says Adam killed his father and for that he must pay. Peter says he won’t let him hurt Adam, Hiro pulls out his sword, then Peter starts making a ball of lightning, then Hiro charges at Peter with the sword.
