Does “Heroes” really kick “Lost”s Ass?

Giant Magazine’s writer Scott Stein thinks that, “Heroes” kicks “Lost”s Ass.
You’re beaten at your own game, ABC: it’s no surprise that series creator Tim Kring consulted with friend and Lost writer Damon Lindelof before embarking on his X-Men meets X-Files enterprise for NBC. Hip-deep in November, Heroes is by far the better show than Lost. It’s not even closeand this is coming from a full-on (and starting to become former) Lost addict. How? Let us count the ways:
- People with secret powers are cool, and they can do amazing things at any time that make you go wow. Lost always relied on its once-in-a-while “wow moments, but they’re both hard to predict, hard to understand, and increasingly few and far between. A flying politician is just inherently more interesting than a formerly wheelchair-bound man in a sweat lodge.
- Lost: Too many plots. Maybe this’ll happen to Heroes someday, but right now the NBC hit show’s storyline is interlinked, exciting, and every episode carries us further into the mystery of why so many bizarre mutants are appearing. Lost already had a fractured plotand now that folks are living with The Others, the show’s suffered an unfortunate split-brain between the Others’ world and the old familiar Beach World. Leaping back and forth to check on people has only slowed down the story further, which is sad, because the show’s been slower than molasses since the end of last season anyway.

Lol
U kidding ?
strangest quote ever !
Heroes does not beat lost by a long shot !
the fact that lost has so many plots is NOT so we all get confused and give up on it ,it’s to show that anything can happen in this alternate universe meanwhile heroes just sticks to the same basic story line ( from what i have seen )
YATAAAAA …
seriously
open you eyes !
Both are great shows. It’s not necessary to trash one in order to appreciate the other. That being said, I personally have to give the edge to Lost for the complexity of their characters.
Ordinary humans can still be Heroes at http://www.StolenCarReports.com

Man… Heroes started off cool enough. But it has become one of the most laughable series on TV. Lost may rely on sporadic wow moments. But by doing so and keeping them unpredictable, they have been able to keep me on the edge of my seat for 3 complete seasons now. Heroes on the other hand… well let´s say I´m not quite interested in season 2 as I was a couple of months ago. It seems the show has gone out of screenwriters hands, relying on more and more powerful abilities to keep spectators interested. But when it´s time to use them… well obviously an almost god-like superhero isn´t going to have much trouble saving the world, so he can´t use them for whatever reason. And thats boring. If a character isn´t going to use his powers, just give him more subtle powers.
The show is supposed to be about normal people with supernatural abilities. Well, if they don´t use them, you are left with a show about normal people. And for that I already have Lost wich is by far better written, scripted and acted.
