Heroes Fan- youre so right. i loved adam. i wish he wouldv stuck around and i had the coolest twist idea, what if adam was actually lindermans father? but oh well.. we wont see that. and maury was “the nightmare man” and a big connection between season one and two but again… oh well. i think the writers just thought everyone was so unhappy with season 2, they tried to cover it up quickly, whcih was also a bad idea. remember sylars “bad tacho” line in the premire. i think the writters are losing sense of what they created. suresh represented that quality in the show. and now old questions are being forgotten and it feels like the writters are “expirimenting” with the show. did you notice that opening sequence in the last episode- villians? like holy shit- what a stuped idea. AND I LOVED JEPH LOEB! CRAP! tim kring if youre out there– please make this shit right. YOURE FUCKING UP MAN! COMON! i love this show but somebodys gotta go talk to kring, rough him up a lil, and lead us in the right direction. by the way, doea “fugatives” sound like a dumb volume name to you too?

heroes is a great show and i still have complete faith in it and even though ther r sum things tha coud b better it doesn’t mean that in the long run you wont say “i get it now!” iv’e been addicted since season 1 and i’ll never abandon this show!

Jay- didnt u read? they were also axed because of the over-spending, special effects definately plays large part in this.
as far as im concerned the whole idea that heroes has become xmen is bullocks, sure there have been more special effects than previous sesons, sure there all using there powers, but its still very much a show about humans deal with everyday things. in villains its about corruption of power
its got me hooked enough to check a spoiler site everyday for updates LOL

I agree with most of what you’ve said there stu – They are also my thoughts.

Although I really wouldn’t like the characters (at least the good ones) to be removed from a mere 1 season – Each season should start off elsewhere, with a different aim – and eventually end up with a common connection.

For example, a Villains volume focusing on how these abilities go wrong would result in them eventually clashing with the “Heroes” in the finale / Later episodes.

They should also put more work into special effects – The Sylar vs Peter fight scene this season was rather horrible.

Oh well. I think this is good for the show. it’s been really bad since the Season 1 Finale (Kring wrote it, you know the guy who created Big Wolf On Campus, once wrote a horrible episode of the original Knight Rider, and has supposedly NEVER read a comic book in his life).

The creators/writers of the show absolutely have no idea what they’re doing. And its obvious. People claim that Season 2 was bad b/c of the writer’s strike, but that’s complete b.s. Season 2 Volume 2 Generations was just about complete when the writer’s strike happened. The only thing the show changed to make up for it was the final scene in Se2 finale Powerless. They altered the ending to kill the virus so they could start fresh for Season 3.

Season 3 is definitely better, but its nowhere near as good as Season 1. Its all over the place. Seriously, whose brilliant idea was it turn Mohinder evil and into a freakin’ Fly monster? It makes no sense. He’s supposed to be the main good guy. There’s so many inconsistencies, so many gaffs and plot holes and unexplained answers. And then the writers try to justify it with an even more retarded answer

Season 2 Generations shouldve been all about the joining of the Company’s Founding 12 with an all new cast to explain the background. Villains Season 3 should be with an all new cast about how people with powers can go wrong. Each Volume should either have a new theme or a new cast that gives a unique view on the world of Heroes.

That wouldve made the show much more interesting.

I sort of have to agree and disagree with the decision to ‘axe’ them. No doubt the story is just not as good as it used to be, but thats what happens when a really good idea is only good if its rebooted every season. The show was originally about regular people like yourself that were finding things out about them selves, let it be powers or an epic journey but now since the Heroes have found themselves and learned abou these abilities the story is now not finding themselves but fighting the evil and losing themselves. That said, Heroes was bound to change after the first season. Had they rscast all characters and put in new storylines just maybe the craze would have lived, but instead to save a large loss of viewership in the short term, they decided to keep the cast and change the story altogether. This is how Heroes went from Everyday Heroes to The X-Men.

They have to reconnect with reality, if that’s how we’d call it. I mean they have diverge so much from the original concept that’s just getting out of their hands. Forget time-travel, it’s plain confusing and many plot holes are to be expected, forget forced and rushed storylines (Adam gone out of the blue? c’mon) but above all, forget apocalypse scenarios, no, no and no, jut not feasible and believeable.

Yeah, I found that part stupid as well. Also, the removal of an ability would be a huge painful process and it would be physical. These ability are physical changes in the human anatomy. You can’t just take that from somebody, that doesn’t make any sense. I am not a fan of evolution as a theory (I think it’s great for stories), but this show is basing the powers on evolution.

I also can’t believe they killed Maury and Adam like they did. Adam and Maury were suppose to be powerful villians and they died without even a fight.

It won’t be bad. They have gotten so screwy lately it’s just ridiculous. Season 3 and season 1 constrict themselves so many ways it’s not even funny.

I mean seriously, who the freaking heck wants Mohinder to be a Villian? It’s like a villian version of Jar Jar Binks, absolutely stupid.

This season has done somethings right, they have done so many things wrong, especially with Peter’s character. The whole “hunger” thing just pisses me off.
