E!Online’s Kristin has some ‘insider’ info on the three characters whose fate is uncertain after the final episode of Volume Two: Nathan (shot to death by a mysterious killer), Niki (probably dead after the explosion) and Adam (Kensei), buried alive by Hiro.
Here’s the rumors:
Ali Larter: According to Heroes insiders, Niki is not expected to return to the show. But her devilish alter ego, Jessica? Oh yeah, we’ll see her as soon as the show comes back to the beloved airwaves—when the strike is through! At least, that’s the plan according to sources who tell me producers had “done all they could do” with Niki. Micah is not gonna be happy. But at least he’ll have Monica…
David Anders: I’d bet my beloved, signed Hiro poster that Hiro’s sworn nemesis will return. (I’ve seen that ’90s flick The Vanishing and know people can be dug up after being buried alive! Maybe we can even get Kiefer Sutherland to do the digging!) Sources tell me it’s not set in stone, but the tentative plan is for Adam Monroe to be back to torment our favorite squinty teleporter—i.e., the “carp.” Here’s hoping he does.
Adrian Pasdar: I’ve heard the production and writing staff is somewhat split as to whether Nathan should return to the show. Allow me to be the first to say WTF? Heroes without the brothers would be like Prison Break or Brothers & Sisters without the brothers: a waste of time! Surely Claire’s blood can save her own father, right?! Let’s say a little prayer for the older Petrelli, shall we?

No No No No! Not Nathen! He was fine as a slimey Politician who would do anyhting to get into power but now he has become all moral and noble he is even more sickening than he was before! The whole Peter and Nathen thing is really dull, I have never liked either character. Nathen because he should have been a hated character instead of making him into this great heroic figure of justice, and Peter because the guy cannot act to save his life! Why make the most powerful character in the series a joke because of the poor acting? He played the naive “What is happening to me?” role very well in Season 1 but now they are trying to make him ‘bad ass’ and he just cannot pull it off, he just looks stupid. His powers need to be limited, no joke, he could absorb all of Sylars abilities and have some that Sylar does not have. Is that a fair fight? Either kill him off so that there is not a God like Good guy, or have him the contract the virus and remove all his abilites so he can’t do anything for a while. I do not know why that guy was made the central focus in both seasons! HE IS A POOR ACTOR AND A BAD CHARACTER! Can no one else see this?
Mortiss are you aot of your mind all the characters are great, the series only has 2 volumes, its not smallville that has 6 seasons, can’t wait a bit, i prefer the brothers more than the childish hiro and the feeling victim claire (they are both my fav characters too so i dont hate claire nor hiro), what do you have against noble people tell me, do you think pride people or powerfull make you better, tell how do you feel if you had a power that you know it may afect the ones you love, tell me, being a hero at the same time is a curse, because they suffer most and are the first to die, if you want to complain, stop watching the show, because the main character is Peter, sorry for that, even if claire and hiro are the ones that have apperad the most (if you know X 1999 BY CLAMP have a picture of peter like kamui), those two are the same, they suffer because their curse, and the beggining pete wants to be someone, now he see’s ir as curse, that’s why we must be carefull of what we choose. Besides nathan is better like a noble person that someone that use power for self purpuse, tell me if all people with power and money this days us it this day, few help others, and nathan wants to help, he stopped the bomb sacricifing his life, now again revealing about the ones with habilities, and in the futures the poor man has dies, that’s unfair, why everyone has to kill the noble & kind people first, every one always have to like the funny guys, or bad guys, or violent guys, well where’s the good side, only because everyone says that honest and kind people are weak, we’ll that’s the opposite because we care of others too, she millions of people that dies saving others, and what do the bad ones do, destroyng live and not helping or even support. For that at least let nathan live for the moment, if you want a petrelli dead hope that’s on the final season/volume as all the characters.
AHHH NATHAN DONT DIE!!! Awwww Don’t want him to die… I do think angela is going to become some badass hero in volume 3, only to die in a very dramatic scene where she saves her sons.
I also think one of the company members who are thought to have died, are actually still alive, thanks to their powers of which some we don’t know yet!

Good for that, besides nathan need a story of his own too, something that could be his problem and related to him. The creators should develop his powers, he can fly, soo its related to wind, so give him the ability to control the wind and gravity, or even levitation, he need more story, even a rival.
*if he has a rival he should have water habilities (three water phases to control), like the one i writte in one of my comment, his name is jared (imaginary character for me, sadly i dont have an idea of last name) that should be good in the story (hope kring reads this comments), he should be a son of one of nathan’s friends and college (they are friends since school and with a forune but helps the needed because of the sum) when they were on the army and died saving him and as last wish he asks nathan that he can be his 2 months son’s guardian and have his family fortune to nathan (godfather or paternal figure, meredith waiting claire, soo clare is still unborn), cause he has no family members left and that her wife died giving childbirth to jared, and nathan agrees and that he will take care of his family goods until jared has grown up. Jared’s father could be a reason for nathan to be at congress in season 1, because he says that he wants to help others, and does it for his friend memory and for peter, but that by angelas orders nathan wouldnt know who the boy is, neither his father for saving her son, and orders the haitian to erase his memory cause of claire’s birth approaching and that jared could ruin the future if the bomb on vol 1 would not become reality, but that the haitian wouldn’t erase only his promise on jared’s dad that he’ll save lives as possible, that truly make his goal to do his campaing on winning, with not what it seems with lindermn’s money but instead of jared’s father’s money he’s paying, andabout the time he disagress with linderman about the 0.07% of deads in new york is because something tells him he has to save lives, because he remembers the promise without knowing from who we made it, and angela and linderman saw that as an opportunity for the future they wanted on vol 1, so the haitian is order to disposse of the boy & the evidence somewhere beyond nathan, but in that aspect the hatian disagress with angela for the first time, and that would be the only time he’ll disobey her, leaving the child to other family’s care (still undecided where, perhaps chicago that is a city where there has not been any scene) with the testment that prove the conection of nathan & jared). Jared is 20 in a possible vol 4 or 3 and had discovered his power when he was 10 (manipulation of water), he studies hard so he can be a medicaldoctor/arquitect/civil engeniers (any of them, still not decided) and works in a super market as a cash register for living and payment for school and takes as a secret about his family abuse. He was left by the hatian (without knowing the family status) to a house of a family that lives by stealing and work for drug dealers (you could tell, imagine that life knowing that thats not your true family, he found up at 8). He learns how to developt them at 18 (manipulate water in its 3 states) and then he’s interested in investigates his lineage, who was his father and mother with no answers or luck about his habilities, until he founds evidence that the hatian left about him when he was taken supposedly cared by his family (hidden, still undecided in what part of the old apartment in he lives), he’s supposed family that takes care of him is killed because of buissnes and jared uses his power killing the ones that kill what he called family, and starts his quest, (he’ll be like claire but in male version and other power), he knows because of his fathers last wishes testaments about a man called nathan petrelli with his signature approving that he’ll take responsability on him, that he sould be his guardian and that he takes care of jared’s family fortune, and thats the cause in which jared wants vengence on nathan for not accepting him and taking possesion of his father’s fortune and thinking that he destroyed his family and life (he doesnt care about the money or fortune, only that nathan ignored his fathers wishes, knowing that he died saving him). Jared finds out about nathan because of the events at the end of volume 1 about his campaing, but without knowing about him, yet. But when he finds the evidence he remember he has heard or read that name, and the he’s on the quest to new york, finding up next that he has been shot (vol 2). Jared could make truly his appearace in vol 4 or 5 trying to understand what happened in the past, why someone he tough it was good and he admire could happen to be his godfather by law (because nathan’s spech), that nathan doesnt remember his jared’s father nor him, even if he has the evidence that proves it and nathan & jared, with peter’s help to nathan & claires guidance to jared the true and forgivenes is clear, and this part of nathan would help claire to get closer to nathan for accepting jared as his godson in the end of the volume that jared makes appearance, because he’s not truly guilty of his past mistakes, knowing that her granny angela still has tricks of her own and uses her own family as puppets everyoone (nathan remembers, cause they should put that the hatians ability or erase memory has a limit time with people with abilities). If nathan is given wind power too and jared as water caster they should do great combination on their powers, like being both the same weather itself, (this arc includes fighting other villans or meeting the heroes and possible new, i only give this character i imagined when i saw season two, but this is a clue a give of this character jared, he’s cold as ice because he doesnt know what love and kindness is in any aspects).
*Dont forget noah, they only meet in 1×05 & 1×23, they need to give them a rivaly that relates claire to the complot. Nathan should have now his own problems too, and not resolving the other problems too, mi imagination on jared whould not interfer with peter and claire, only that it will form now nathans triangule peter/nathan/claire into now peter/nathan/claire/jared

Poor Nathan. Blown up at the end of Volume 1, shot at the end of Volume 2. Hope he returns, someone’s gotta keep Peter’s emotions in check right.

No he couldn’t. If he were around Sylar we would only absorb ‘intuitive aptitude’, or the ability to know how things work. Asides from being L33t at making watches and being able to hear ticking noises as he hugs Maya, Peter wouldn’t really gain anything else. Unless he plans to start killing people for their superpowers. And we all know he wouldn’t.
And I hope Adam doesn’t die, he hasn’t really done enough in this show. He really needs to shake things up in season3. Maybe Sylar could kill Molly, take her powers, find out about Adam, look at a picture of Adam, concentrate, then know where he is. Then he goes to Adam. They could work together for a while, kill off a few annoying characters (Claire and Maya, I’m looking at you). Then Adam tries to betray Sylar but Sylar is a step ahead of him and kills him! Woot! Go Sylar!

Well.. I was thinking, Noah Bennet shoot Nathan Petrelli. You can see that if you look right, a man with glasses, and now he is working with the company. Anyways, the blood can cure injuries, but when Nathan got injected with Adams blood, he healed, but i dosent have that power. Peter,Claire or Adam´s blood is the only way to get him alive. We saw that with Noah, he was dead, and Claires blood healed him perfectly. But we will just have to wait and see what they come up with..
