SDCC 2007: Heroes graphic novel publishing rights go to DC
The 2007 SDCC just barely started and there’s already a Heroes-related news to report: DC comics (home of Batman, Superman, Wonderwoman and Green Lantern just to name a few) obtained the rights to publish in print the Heroes graphic novels presented online by NBC.
The novels, slated to start shipping to stores this Fall, will feature cover art by superstar comic book artists Alex Ross and Jim Lee and will feature not only work published online, but also artwork by Tim Sale (the artist who actually did paint Isaac Mendez’s art).
