Understandably we want to see Heroes back as soon as possible, but I think I’d rather wait. There were a lot of season 2 episodes that were a disappointment . If the writers only have a a few weeks to write 3 more episodes for the rest of this season - whether an Origins or some continuity - then who’s to say it won’t be haphazardly done? And then, yes that would be a disaster that Tim would not want to gamble with. I would rather the writers have enough time to think through each episode, and then give us something really awsome next fall. Besides, I read that Tim is writing a “series bible” that would direct where Heroes is going with for the rest of its TV life. Thinking through all these in the summer might prove much better than giving fans a few episodes to tickle us.

Why not show us the history behind the Company… There’s a LOT of us wanting to see the older generation in action…. Although only 3 episodes, this is a chance to really bring the elders into the foreground…. This would also, in my opinion, make Volume 3 stronger, because we know a little behind the Company’s motivations.

I think the self standing 3 episodes would be a good idea. Entertaining and doesn’t tamper with Villains. Let’s see more of how Elle became the colorful character she is or perhaps some more background on Bob.

I’m kinda sick of cliffhangers. So I really think either play during the summer (which might not be possible), or make it so that the third episode concludes with an opening for the future, but not on a DIRE OMG cliffhanger.

Either way, I want to see an episode before next September.

I think the bad news might not be that bad. Think about it, if those three episodes live up to the HEroes suspense, then that suspense will build up over the summer and it will be awesome when they come back.

Telemovie = made for TV movie. Ex. “Battlestar Galactica: Razor” “Farscape: Peacekeeper Wars” etc.

Good shout. I say bring on the Origins volume would be a great idea. Afterall, Villain is supposed to be the last volume of the 2nd season, and it’s only fair that it’s shown all at once for the audience and its continuity.

If Origins was s’pose to be an intermediate volume, then having it stopped for the Summer after 3 episodes wouldn’t be so heart breaking and mind bugging.

Hello, just a thought… how about a haitus spinoff all about the the founders of the company placed in their own time. AKA Heroes placed in the 70’s about the founders to offer some insight. Just a thought.

Would be great to see “past” episodes of the major “?” events. Something like an episode of the day Matts dad left him? Showing reasons for it and how he actually felt when doing it.

Another one would be the mystery behind Authors death, murdered, went in hiding? It would be sort of in the same timezone as S01E10 “Six months ago” but from Authors perspective.

One could speculate that he was murdered in order to keep Nathan from prosecuting him and Linderman (murdered by Linderman/Angela?) It could also be that he simply went into hiding and let people assume he was dead, a plan formulated by himself, Angela and Linderman to ensure the events would proceed as planned and Nathan would end up running for Congress and thus, setting in motion the whole big bomb plan :)!

I sooo should be a writer!

Give us some creative singled out episodes explaining past stories and ancestors of our beloved heroes!

It seems to me the “Three Episodes” Tim would have been talking about are probably episodes they already had in production- not freshly written episodes. That said, we would only get part of a story line and then have to wait.

In my opinion, it’s better to wait.

They had a three-month hiatus already. Why take summer off? Start Villains and finish it before the regular fall start. Then turn around and pick it back up in September with Volume 4.

Isn’t it possible to broadcast the new Heroes V3 in the summer (outside the regular tv season) period?
