NBC just released the official description and promo images of Episode 03.10 ‘THE ECLIPSE – PART 1’.
‘THE ECLIPSE – PART I’

A POWERFUL ECLIPSE CASTS A SHADOW OVER ALL OF THE HEROES THAT IMPACTS THEIR ABILITIES – SETH GREEN, BRECKIN MEYER, KRISTEN BELL, BREA GRANT, JAMIE HECTOR AND BLAKE SHIELDS GUEST STAR – After reuniting Sylar (Zachary Quinto) and Elle (guest star Kristen Bell), Arthur (guest star Robert Forster) orders them to find Claire (Hayden Panettiere) and bring her to him. Matt (Greg Grunberg), Hiro (Masi Oka) and Ando (James Kyson Lee) team up together and follow Daphne (guest star Brea Grant) to her hometown of Athens, Georgia to discover what she’s been hiding. Meanwhile, Nathan and Peter Petrelli (Adrian Pasdar and Milo Ventimiglia) travel together to Haiti in search of the the only man that can stop their father from destroying the world, the Haitian (Jimmy Jean-Louis). Jack Coleman and Ali Larter also star. Robert Forster also guest stars.

The haitian have to be concentrated to stop people from using their abilities so yeah Praba, you re right. Because remember in Volume 1 when peter was with claude (the invisible man) and the Mr Bennet and the Haitian was trying to catch them… Peter used his power then and saved Claude. So I think The haitian is not always stoping peióple from using abilities. It is like an on/off button
Yeah thats what i actually thought…Haitians power is always switched ON…But he can decided to switch it off…Get it?
And he is the only want who can stop aurther…And Peter dont have Haitian power…Cause his power needs a access kind of code…Like how peter took sylar’s power…
He actually had sylar’s power guys…But he needed to use the code to activate the power…

Benjamin “Knox” Washington – power to increase his physical strength by “feeding” on the fear of others
Villain Nr. 9 = Marcus (HRG brought him in and his ability was some kind of lifeforce draining with his hands).
Villain Nr. 10 = Light Preacher (Don’t remember the name but it was the one with the light power that made hrg have to wear glasses) that were bringing people “into the light”.
Villain Nr. 11 = the hydromancer from the GN maybe that HRG together with two others bagged a long time ago (not sure about that but he could be one of them that were put wrongly behind bars) OR some random person probably that is used as cannon fodder for sylar immediately?
Villain Nr. 12 = the phaser guy from daphne gn?
there r a few more choises of who will be the other villains but im pretty sure Echo DeMille was replaced by jessy murphy.
and what about the characters from the novels?

hey I have a question. I see some of you guys are talking about the Haitian letting Nathan go. So I’d like to ask why the Haitian also help Claire in Volume 1 – he didn’t delete Claire’s memory but instead telling her the truth about her father. So why did he do so? This is a question on my mind, which I still can’t figure out the reason behind after a long time…

Yeah, you’re right. He probably somehow knows that she’s the “Important Light” or whatever. Similar to how Sylar said that “She’s special”, and when Kaito(Hiro’s Dad) said about a special light.
The Haitian probably knows alot of things that are going on with most of the Heroes…..

The plotline is thicker than all of these ideas. The Hatian has a back story to tell. I wouldn’t be surprised if they do that a little in this episode. But here’s the deal. Think of Parkman and his dad. They have the same ability, which means he is probably not a synthetic hero. They said Nathan was injected to have powers but previously Angela, revealing she can dream the future, said, “Where did you think you got your first power from?” to Peter. We all assume that she was saying he absorbed her power, but it was more likely passed on genetically. Arthur has the ability to not only absorb powers but take them away completely. It’s like Parkman, an immature version of his father’s ability. I bet, more mature, Peter would develop the same ability to take powers away completely.
The question would be if Arthur can give powers back or, if he is killed, do the powers come back automatically? If that is the case, Maya will be a later sideline plot, having gone back to “make amends”.
As for how the Hatian’s powers work, I think as eluded to by the movie theater scene his powers can radiate, turning off anyone’s powers in the area. It is when he focuses on them that he can affect memories. It’s like their mind forgets how to use their powers. So his power is basically the power to make you forget, not just the ability to turn off powers. The question in my mind is if he will be powerful enough to affect Arthur. If you noticed when Arthur was first revealed, Arthur had absorbed some of Parkman’s dad’s ability to read minds. That may come into play later. If it doesn’t, I would be surprised.
maybe its because Nathan’s abilities weren’t natural… just an idea.
