TO PREPARE FOR THE CONFRONTATION AHEAD, HIRO (MASI OKA) EXPLORES WHAT FORCES — AND FAMILIAR FACES — HELPED TWIST SYLAR (ZACHARY QUINTO), FLINT (BLAKE SHIELDS) AND ARTHUR PETRELLI (ROBERT FORSTER) INTO VILLAINS — MALCOLM MCDOWELL, ERIC ROBERTS, KRISTEN BELL AND JESSALYN GILSIG ALSO GUEST STAR — To prepare for the confrontation ahead, Hiro (Masi Oka) follows respected businessman, husband and father Arthur Petrelli (guest star Robert Forster) in the days before he “died” — to discover what drove him to create rival company Pinehearst and strike at Angela (Cristine Rose). Later, a moment unfolds where Sylar (Zachary Quinto), horrified and guilt-ridden, might have stopped his murderous pursuit of abilities — that is, if H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) and Elle (guest star Kristen Bell) had swayed from their monstrous assignment. Finally, under the wing of Company man Thompson (guest star Eric Roberts), agent-in-training Meredith (guest star Jessalyn Gelsig) watches her new life go up in smoke, following the arrival of her hot-headed brother. Greg Grunberg, James Kyson Lee, Ali Larter, Hayden Panettiere, Adrian Pasdar, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Dania Ramirez and Milo Ventimiglia also star. Yes, episode 8 is a flashback episode, to the time just before Season 1’s pilot.

yeah!both have flamethrower ability…her brother’s flame is probably hotter since it’s blue in colour..
does anyone know if the writers of the weekly comics are the same as those of the tv series?
considering that dhapne is still alive at the end of this episode, and will still be a few years in the future,
I can only assume that this Mr Petrelli guy is not very bright.
If you have the ability to steal people’s ability by only touching him,
which ability will you steal first?
A. the ability to move very fast, so you can touch people easily without them noticing
B. the ability to dream the future, which is pretty much useless compared to the time travelling or painting future abilities.

Thompson as in Jr. in the comics. Not the dead on obviously… and this is not right before the start of season one… its 6 months prior to the first episode making episode eight 10-12 months total in the past

Grunberg confirmed that production on Volume 4: Fugitives is beginning and provided us with our first confirmation that the Heroes will be on the run during the second half of Season 3. Grunberg stated that there is “one looming power” that has all of the Heroes on the run together.
Of course many of you know The Hunter was recently cast and I am sure he will be the one chasing the Heroes. that sux for them

A few weeks ago there was a casting call for a Tommy Lee Jones type of Sheriff from the movie The Fugitive.
Well today comes word via Kristin at E! Online that recent Emmy winner for Damages, Zeljko Ivanek has been cast for a recurring role (10 Episodes), which will be known as The Hunter.
So with the second half of Season 3, which is also Volume 4, called Fugitives it seems fair to assume Ivanek as The Hunter will be chasing these fugitives. The only thing we do not know is WHO are the Fugitives, the Heroes or the Villains OR both!?
LOST fans will recognize Ivanek as well, because he played Juliet (Elizabeth Mitchell’s husband Burke).
Ivanek’s first appearance as The Hunter is scheduled for Episode 3×14 the first episode of Volume 4.

Once again the guys over at CBR had a chance to host a Q&A Session with Heroes writers Aron Coleite and Joe Pokaski.
Here is a summary of some of the key details from the most recent Behind the Eclipse Q&A.
My favorite detail is the confirmation once again that we will learn more about The Haitian.
1) Peter acts on emotions and though he might not use the right ability at a specific time he reacts in the heat of the moment. He did not use his abilities to kill Nathan because the point was not let people with abilities to be exposed so if he did it would have had the opposite effect of what her was trying to do.
2) Episode 3×04 I Am Become Death will most likely be the last “future” episode we will see for a long time.
3) Someone really powerful knew Hiro was going to open the safe and sent Daphne to get the Formula. (Assuming this means Maury or Arthur).
4) The German might return, but it is hard to return from a hole in the chest.
5) Would not confirm that Kaito’s power shown on the Season 2 DVDs deleted scene as canon.
6) Adam did not kill all of the founders of The Company and Isaac’s father is NOT on the deceased list.
7) Episodes 3×10/11 will reveal more details about The Haitian and his family
9) In a funny answer they reminded fans who were worried about Mr. Muggles, that he drank some of Claire’s blood.
10) Sylar’s babymama will still be revealed, but it is not what we think
11) They want Isaac to return, but is hard trying work out the scheduling because of his busy plays/movies schedule.
12) The chart that keeps track of all of the various character abilities is Oliver Grigsby.
13) Linderman was right, every time the future is changes it gets worse.

Perhaps Daphne will die on episode 7, because her name is not listed in this one with rest of the guest stars… but why soo soon, I really love her, hope she doesnt die, besides in he episode 7 description it is said that Matt doesnt want to sign with Pinehearst, soo she has to kill him, or be killed herself, and since she is not at all convinced now with what this company does, since seein Hiro supposedly killing Ando, seeing Mohinder using Nathan and Tracy as lab rats, and seeing Arthur Petrelli take Peter’s abilities, poor girl, if she dies her last words may be “what have i done”, nooooooooooo.
Daphne is alive but is very evil for leading Matt into a trap…
