Well it does somehow make sense that Peter had to get the ability of Sylar in the future now. It means that Arthur has it now too and I think the hunger is going to play a role as a handicap to him(just a theory).
I’m afraid Peter doesn’t have any powers anymore, or else he would have copied it back from Arthur right? Hehe funny that he was bragging to Sylar 2 min before he lost his powers that he was the most special among the special!
By the way I don’t think the 4th villain is Sylar(look at the mustache), but rather Carlos Mendez. It looks like him and I’ve heard that he’s going to play a role in later episodes.
I imagine this will be how Peter get’s his scar you always see him with in the future. Without the power to heal (probably temporarily) he can be scared.
The 4 guys i think are = arthur petrelli, knox, a kind of bald guy?=maury parkman? or the flame guy?(maury’s power is stronger than the flame guy) and an unknown 4th guy with a kind of moustache.
Heroes is the best show ever. But i cant believe all of peters power is gone. I really hope he will get them back. I think that peter absorbed his fathers power before his father taked his and it is the only power he have left because arthur cant take his own power. i think peter will take his power back in that way but cant yet because arthur have put hand cloves like we see in the promo. howevwe heroes is the best if peter getes his power back :p
Ok so we doo know that syler, perter, and atrhor are related. all of there powers are esentialy the same. we also know that his dad dident get peters abilty to be neer people and get there power, because he would have shown on of the other peoples ability. so peter is coming back and will be stronger than ever. however i dont know who will get rid of arthor because… generally people don’t kill there own fathers, or grandfathers. so somehow arthor will be put in jail or killed by someone unrelated.
also scylar will be the one to help peter regain his abilities because he knows how peters ability works.

Interesting idea, but I’d doubt he’d be able to open Peter up and fix him before he died….unless her were frozen during the operation perhaps by Tracy…or they had proper lab equipment (with the help of Mohinder) to keep him alive during the operation.
But there are other possibilities too, such as he only lost the power Arthur knew about (i.e. the lightning or empathic mimicking and lightning) so Peter is still very powerful.
Alternately, he lost everything except empathic mimicking. In which case, he could get his abilities back, but he’d be able to get the “scar” before he met Claire again as per Frank’s theory.
There are too many possibilities. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens. But given that the last episode of the season is “War” (two sides) and not “Anarchy” (a free for all fight of evolved human), I suspect Arthur might be around at least one more season and that at least for now, the “everyone has a power” chaos due to the stolen formula isn’t going to happen this season.
My theory is rather simple and logical.
Theres a possabiility that sylar goes to free Peter, but realizes his FATHER is the guy in charge, and his Father will accept him as he is, unlike his Mother who wants him to change. Thus, Sylar could give in.
As for Peter, I’m thinking he gets his Power back via the Formula and makes a fresh start collecting abilities, although this time making sure not to pickup Sylars.
what i dont understand is how arthur could send signals into adams mind he obviously hadnt taken matts dads power otherwise he would of been no use to him and would not of been there PS. hope tracy and nathan kick suresh’es butt

IS it me or has people forgot that arthur has the formula, it was obviously perfected (Tracy and Nathen)so why does he need Mohinder? Where did Molly go? her parents were killed by sylar so who is she staying with? And has anyone noticed that both Nathen or Mohinder asked where matt was? Why isnt anyone in Hiros business looking for hiro, as he is the boss? The villians are Knox, Flint, Doyle, Echo (from webisodes), The German, Jesse, Stephen (blackholes) and Maury Parkman, who are the other 4??? Has anyone forgot about them?
I like the idea that tim has actually created a team (except there villians) but i was looking for a team of heroes as the company was originally that so it would of been great to see a younger generation!
I hate that people are critising the season, it is back on good form and is asking new questions and bringing in those we have wanted to see. Arthurs power is as hiro say’s ‘Bad Ass’ that must be the strongest, so he must of had a lot of influence over the original company!
Was anyone else kind of bummed about how unimportant Adam Monroe turned out to be? He was the focus of most of Season 2, had a botched plan to release the company’s virus, gets boxed after killing Hiro’s dad and then that’s it…
The end. Seriously, the guy lived for 400 years and managed to accomplish an impressive jack squat. I was hoping he would be reviewed as the common ancestor between many of the Heroes or something.
If future Peter knew this was going happen, which I’m sure he did, then 1, Why didn’t he tell Peter and 2, How does having Sylar’s power change things?
I was bummed that he got killed, Adam was a nice character to watch.
What if Arthur’s ability works both ways? He can take your power, or he can give you your power back…
