‘THE ECLIPSE – PART I’

A POWERFUL ECLIPSE CASTS A SHADOW OVER ALL OF THE HEROES THAT IMPACTS THEIR ABILITIES – SETH GREEN, BRECKIN MEYER, KRISTEN BELL, BREA GRANT, JAMIE HECTOR AND BLAKE SHIELDS GUEST STAR – After reuniting Sylar (Zachary Quinto) and Elle (guest star Kristen Bell), Arthur (guest star Robert Forster) orders them to find Claire (Hayden Panettiere) and bring her to him. Matt (Greg Grunberg), Hiro (Masi Oka) and Ando (James Kyson Lee) team up together and follow Daphne (guest star Brea Grant) to her hometown of Athens, Georgia to discover what she’s been hiding. Meanwhile, Nathan and Peter Petrelli (Adrian Pasdar and Milo Ventimiglia) travel together to Haiti in search of the the only man that can stop their father from destroying the world, the Haitian (Jimmy Jean-Louis). In “I Am Become Death” you see Gabriel’s son, his name is Noah, and that is actually the hint. It could be that he is HRG. He was conceived in the present, born in the future, but brought up in the past so he could be old enough to be of use for the company… think of it… he then could be the cousin of Claire…

or… gab and elle named their son after HRG because HRG helped both of them…
in one of the canadian promo 0.19 you see sylar hitting someone on his face… Can anyone see who itis ?
did you not get it i think hiro and ando went to a future comic book store thats y the hulk was red etc..that may have been a comic book describing them as superheroes

I dont think that HRG is from the future! I think Sylar named his son Noah because it was his old partner, and he lived in the house maybe because HRG died.
And Peter still has to get that scar…
Sylar won’t be able to steal or transfer (if he even can, HRG’s statement doesn’t really mean Sylar can put abilities in other people. I just assumed he meant that Sylar found out how to transfer abilities to himself)
abilities from Arthur. Arthur already suspects him, and I don’t think he’d let his guard down around him enough Sylar to even attack him properly.
Peter is most likely relying on the Eclipse returning his power.
“About HRG, maybe he really is the son of Elle and Gabriel, and because he was/is conceived during the eclipse he may not have powers but something else, some sort of special instinct, call it a residue of mutant dna, something that can not be taken away or disabled (by the Haitian i.e.) which allows him to instinctively know how to size up a situation with or against powered people and how to handle them…that would be really cool and make him the best agent there is.”
He does have that power… it’s called… good old fashioned instinct and skill.
“No one picked up on that in the last episode HRG says Sylar’s ability is to “transfer” powers? Perhaps Sylar can transfer abilities not just to himself, but to others as well.”
He was just talking about transferring abilities from others to himself. Noah is hardly a scientist, and he’s hardly closely analyzed Sylar’s ability.

That’s all stuff that’s actually happened in recent Marvel comics. The Hulk is red, Captain America is dead, Peter Parker is exposed (or was).
My real question is, how the heck did the eclipse happen two years before episode 10, if ’six months ago’ occured a year before episode 8. Did we miss a year and a half of show between episodes 9 and 10? Because that actually is a possibility.
There is no way in hell that HRG is from the future, it just doesn’t make any sense why Sylar would have a kid, bring him back in time to before he was born, and he would have no memory of who his parents really were, then have him fight his younger self.
He named his Noah because he and Noah probably reached some sort of peace before Noah died (it’s in the comics, Claire’s parents die in the future) or he felt guilty for having some part in it. That kid looked nothing like HRG anyway.
My question is how does an eclipse take away or give powers? There’s nothing special about an eclipse and you can’t even see an eclipse from anywhere in the world, you have to be in a specific position to have the moon block out the sun completely. It’s got to be a trick by someone far more powerful than any of these characters who activated their powers originally is the only thing I can think of.
Perhaps someone has been pulling the strings this whole time and has the ability to activate abilities in normal people or deactivate them (Possibly a random population sample and it passes on genetically?)
So Peter has(had) the ability to absorb other’s powers just by being close to them and now we know that Gabriel can basically do the same after seing that scene with Elle. My guess is that Nathan’s real ability is also going to be very similar to his brothers after the eclipse. Lets not forget that Arthur Petrelli can also take away others abilities just by touching them.

hahaha that doesn’t really matter because nathan, peter, and gabriel don’t look alike but they are still brothers. you gotta keep in mind that this is not real life and they don’t always have to look alike to be related.

again, it’s not real life. it’s fictional, how do they even have powers at all, from just the brain? ya… i like to see the brain giving you the ability to fly… the eclipse is just part of the story, just go with it. it gives powers and it takes away powers that’s all you need to know, until they reveal more anyways.

perhaps, but it would be pretty stupid for the show to have someone to be a “God” character who can basically control everything and nothing can stop him.

yes i smell a plot hole, i’m sure there wasn’t only two eclipse from when adam was born to now… somewhere along the line the eclipse must of taken his power away… and yet he never died…

but nathan’s ability wasn’t “natural” he wasn’t born with it, they injected him. just because the rest of the family can take powers doesn’t mean they all can.

since nathan’s power is synthetic, it shouldn’t be affected by natural forces such as an eclipse, right?
