No, you’re right Sezza80. Funny how that never even occured to me. They gave them powers in the past, y not anymore.
Oh wait, the formula was long forgotten. Its not like someone wrote it on a piece of paper and waved it around. It was split into three and scattered across the Earth. i just want to know how in the world can someone with powers destroy the whole world as we saw in episode 1 (or was it 2?) when Ando fired a lightening bolt at Hiro. Hmm…
I personally dont like this formula that gives anyone powers storyline. It undermines the whole heroes-have-powers-and-are-unique-and-destined-for-greatness theme the show has. Now anyone can have powers. And whose idea was it to turn Mohinder into a bad guy/lizard? Sorry, really really bad decision. Mohinder needs to stay as the internal source of good.
I really dont like the direction the show is taking. Even Tim Kring is frustrated (I know, right. Again?) and he expressed it at a recent Screenwriter’s panel. Basically, he’s dissing his own show and admits that not only is it starting to suck, but his creativity sucks. I never had confidence in this guy’s ability to produce a great serialized show. I just wish I had been proven wrong.
its not getting suckier.. the best is yet to come.
i somehow think the theories connect.
it may be true that they want to erase the season 2 mistake. (and on my opinion good choice on leaving Elle–for the SyElle team up!!!)
about adam..hmmm, in xmen rouge can steal powers right? and its effect on the host varies on how long or how many rouge likes (sumting like dat) i think that is what Arthur did. He didn’t need Adam after the power-suck so he just had to kill him.
the eclipse thing. its a bit confusing now. havent watched this episode yet. be back when i do.
time traveling is a definite pain in the head. better stop it. or else the essence of them running around and hiding in “fugitives” is pointless if someone could escape and hide in the past and future.
please dont hate the series just yet…hate it when Sylar kills Elle!!! I love these two.. SyElle forever!!!hehe
actually this season isn’t as bad as how u people think it is. think positive people, the best is yet to come. hopefully.
Okay, explain this one to me. When the eclipse happened, Mohinder reverted back to his normal self and Daphne reverted back to her crippled self.
Claire can feel pain and is currently bleeding to death. Also, it appears that both Daphne and HRG were aware that the eclipse removes powers. Which means, the founders of the company were all aware.
Why wasn’t Arthur aware and also why didn’t he revert back to his vegetative state when his powers went away??
It’s plot holes like this that make the show unwatchable. We all know its fantasy that people have powers, but it was the human element that got us hooked. Ordinary people doing extraordinary things has morphed into weird people doing utterly stupid things.
Realistically, how many volumes can they spend saving the world over and over again??
“If the removal of ability would do something like that, then Peter should have a giant hole in his head and lots of broken bones
i disagree with you. peter had healed from these already. i dont think you go back to every injury you’ve ever had. just to the way you would appear if u didnt have ur ability. hense adam 400.”
And i have to disagree with you Adam’s and Claire’s power is that their cell’s regenerate constantly which in the extreme means immortality if Arthur would only take away his ability to regenerate it would go from there it makes no sense whatsoever to make this proces go quicker. a perfect regeneration of cell’s doesn’t make the distinction between aging and a wound the ability just repairs the cell if the ability is taken away he would start aging normally from that point.
On another note i think Arthur isn’t all bad after all if i look at the new volume fugitives it seems that arthur tried to stop special people being targetted for capture by giving everybody special powers making specials “normal” , but my guess is that Peter and friends somehow prevent this from hapening and that Hiro will side by Arthur because he has seen the future and tries to stop peter and gives him the scar …Just my view at things
I truly hope that peter get’s a bit darker in time(not evil but a bit more shady harsher bitter- because whatever he does and whatever the powers he’s got he cannot prevent certain bad things from coming true
If Angela and Arthur gave Nathan his power how come they don’t know anything of how to reproduce the formula? Saying Claire is a catalyst makes no sense to me cos she was born after her father (for obivous reasons *lol*) and he presumably was given powers before she was born.
I know the formula has been split inot three or whatever and scattered but surely someone knows on one side or other, othrwise is there a third company whose wiped someone’s memory? Seems weird that neither side knows but that it has occured before so someone (and I can’t beleive that one single person who may be dead was the ONLY person who knew, seems waaay too convenient) at some point in recent history (i.e. Nathan and Niki’s lifespan) knows the formula. As far as I’m concerned this is a major plothole, I hope they clear it up satisfactory.
Maybe not just any eclipse, but one where the catalyst was present. Something baby Claire started.
well i like heroes a lot its a great show but teh greatness of season 1 is gone. They must bring that back or heroes would end like the 4400
ther is 1 major error in heroes isaak mendez is dead but the 9 wonders still getting published (ok maybe a ghostwriter) but still they predict the future
George, Sylar still has a gun.
i think heroes is good people should just still watch it and see what happens becos the writers are proberbly trying to make it exciting as it was before. I have to admit it wasnt as good a as season one but i still have hope for the writers and know there gonna have something cooked up for the viewers watching. People who dont like it must not get it. if you dont like heroes then i dont understand why your on this site. just to tell people you dont like it? well some people dont want to see them kind of comments. you can dislike this comment all you want but some people still like heroes and are still rooting for it.
Just clearing up some “plot holes” that people have been talking about.
-9th Wonders! still being published? Well, of course. only 5 or 6 months have passed since how to stop an exploding man, and comic book writers finish work months ahead of time to make sure they’ll still have a paycheck, lol, even though i agree it should be stopping soon.
-Why nobody has a working formula= does anybody that wrote those comments know anytihng about chemistry? by looking at the formula page we saw, there’s no way anybody remembers that off by heart, and they said that the catalyst was “hidden” in claire(most likely blood), not born with her.
