THE HEROES FIND THEMSELVES TEAMING UP AGAINST ONE ANOTHER AND THE GOOD, OR BAD, IN ALL OF THEM COMES TO THE SURFACE – ROBERT FORSTER, GEORGE TAKEI, BREA GRANT, JESSALYN GILSIG, JAMIE HECTOR AND BLAKE SHIELDS GUEST STAR – In the aftermath of the showdown against Arthur Petrelli, the Petrelli brothers (Adrian Pasdar and Milo Ventimiglia) find themselves battling against one another and Nathan makes a move that will have global repercussions. Meanwhile, Sylar (Zachary Quinto) holds Claire (Hayden Panettiere), H.R.G. (Jack Coleman), Meredith (guest star Jessalyn Gilsig) and Angela (Cristine Rose) hostage at Primatech and a face-off ensues. Elsewhere, Ando (James Kyson Lee), Matt (Greg Grunberg) and Daphne (guest star Brea Grant) continue their attempts rescue Hiro (Masi Oka) — and Dr. Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) may be their only hope. Ali Larter also stars. Ntare Mwine, David H. Lawrence XVII and Chad Faust also guest star.

inebriated, this episode was previously known as “War”. It was change to “Duality”. If I am not wrong, it changed again a couple days ago, and this time it is called “Duel”.
i got to admit, this episode was pretty exciting
how hiro got his memories back was interesting and now he’s stuck.
wow they killed off elle and sylar goes back to his old self.
what i don’t understand is… why couldn’t arthur travel back in time and get the catalyst instead of tracking down claire in the present? ridiculous
it’s funny how ando thinks he can time travel too, but his power (if he ever gets one) will be deadly red energy blast thing?
very upset about the power the solider got… i mean super strength? can’t it be something cooler and more interesting?
awesome episode, if heroes keeps it up (with others like this episode) next week and in season 4 then it has a chance to redeem and surpass season 1, let’s just hope they can keep it going.
p.s interesting to note that episodes are much more coherent when forcussing on particular story archs, much like season one where it might even leave a character out, although this episode was an exception, three story archs with at least three characters together…ah well, going good.
can’t wait till next week–promo looks like a sword fight! YAH!
Wow, I have to say the last few episode was not too bad… Hope the show will keep improving like this.. Sylar is interesting again… Though him killing elle is quite a turn off man…
claire’s the blonde girl that’s gonna die.. and become the hunter thingy..cause daddy nathan would inject her with super strength… omg!! now she’s got cell regeneration and strength my GED!!!…wish elle was still alive..huhu
Oh bad! Wasn’t Elle supposed to be noah’s mum? Guess sylar is not getting a son now…
Also, shocked to know that sylar is actually not a petrelli and hiro has lost his power.
I think the part of Hiro going back to meet his mum is really touching, but feel disappointed that Hiro lost the ‘light’ so quickly! I was just hoping that he could truly become a powerful hero this time and use his ability wisely when he said he was determined to defend the ‘light’.
And also, I think the dream of the “4 villains” and the future of Ando killing Hiro will become meaningless at this stage, coz the future has changed so much! Guess Claire is not becoming bad either…
claire cocking a shotgun,…angela jumping at the sound… does Sylar dig out some lie that makes claire turn against Angela?
If so what side will HRG be on, i do remember hearing a rumor that claire kills HRG in the last episode, i still think it’s bull though.
Sylar is on his own side again! yay. i don’t even care that the way it was written for Sylar to be bad again sucked, he is just too awesome… “cake!?”
best. episode. of the season. last night.
hands down. it may just have redeemed this entire lackluster season.
and war, duel, whatever it is now looks to be pretty awesome too.
peter fights nathan…and probably escape with a bit of the formula some how, hopefully. and then flies out of there, do to him gaining Nathan’s power.
Hiro.. i don’t even know how he’s getting out of that one, but he’ll probably hang out with his dad for a while in the past, I’m sure Kaito knows some way to help him out.
Can totally see how Ando ends up with powers now, at least that is within his character. Wanting to save Hiro so he gives himself powers, only to find it’s red lightning.
actually there’re many questions on my mind. what is the light? Isn’t it a man-made catalyst or sth? where does it come from? why did hiro’s mum have it? I just find it a bit weird…
And why did arthur always know when and where to appear? always unexplained…or he must have been drawing many many pictures!
Hm… My theory about Arthur,that if container(Arthur) die, the powers he’s stolen will return(if they are alive) to orinal hosts…
I bielieve now that the only possible solution to get powers back for Peter is the formula(perhaps Suresh would be involved\will help him)… Well, if Peter doesn’t return his powers, it would be the great disappointment!!
I hope in the next (and last) episode he will return them, so he will be fully operative again, to the forthcoming 4th volume!

I was hoping the same thing, but doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen, since from the preview, seem like Pete is having hard time to fight nathan.
And I don’t think they Suresh and them only create the formula but hadn’t really know what power will that give to the person tho. *just my thought*

No the powers die with Arthur, there was this interview and this topic came up. The guy said it wont be easy for peter to get his powers back.
So Hiro will “hang” out with Dad, saintjust21? No pun intended, right?
