Does anyone else think the title for volume 3 is gay? “Villians”, That means there better me more action and more blood and other bad guys besides sylar which he will kill them. The question is, How long do we have to wait for volume 3?

I don´t know what you guys think, but the fall finale was really disappointing. What a turn off..now what? another 4 months before we can see anything new? That is crap…I know the strike is responsible for that, but still the ending was below average at best.

3) Pandora’s box is open? I wonder Angela Peterelli is referring to this new, younger, generation of heroes and the trouble they are about to cause the older generation? i.e. wanting to go public, being more powerful? Who knows!

Pandora’s box refers to every news reporter now knowing that there is infact a secret company trying to stay hidden in the shadows… The assassination (attempt?) on Nathan would prompt all reporters to research the story :p.

Could very well be HRG, if so that means the person Angela was speaking with was Bob… Although it could also be some villian we have yet to meet… Possibly another Petrelli son or infact Aurthur.

I have a suspicion that the original volume 2 finale would not have contained the part where Peter stops the virus from hitting the floor and it would infact be let loose hence why the volume 3 was originally labeled “Exodus”. But i guess the writers wanting bigger houses and fasters cars has weakened the storyline, joy.

A point to consider… How the heck was the security so weak around the press conference, the assassin was in the crowd and then simply walked off without even a smidge of hassle >_>

Jay, i agree that we probably got the ending designed for if the strike was going to go on for a while, because it seemed to wrap things up more than previous Heroes Finales. However you seem to be woefully misinformed about the TV writers strike. Right now, for every sale of a DVD, the writers get 4 cents. All they are asking for is 8 cents. If you think that is asking for too much then you clearly don’t seem to realize that that the writers are the driving force behind the show.

On another note,
1) Niki’s death seems like it was a waste. The whole “get Micha’s stuff back” plot seemed insignificant in the face of the threat of the virus. I think they could have killed another character and allowed for more plot behind it. As it is there will not be much follow up on it. If they had had another character kill another main character, there would be more follow up plot when the show returns. the only good thing i can see coming from this is a Micha-Monica superhero team.

2) Sylars return took WAY to long, but at least they got there. With the new name of volume 3 “Villains” it sets up for the structure of the show when it comes back. With the good people (Peter and Parkman, Hiro, Monica and Micha) fighting against the bad (Sylar, the company, possibly more)

3) The addition of Claire’s blood having healing properties seems like a mistake. it make it so if someone dies with out the destruction of their head, it wont stick. When, in the show, death (such as Nathan’s) will no longer have any significance. They can all just come back. This feels like a bad way for them to be able to keep actors but still move the plot along with death. But now it will be like, “They tried to kill Nathan and now hes still alive but they know the company can kill.”

4) Maya should have stayed dead, she has done nothing to redeem herself and doesn’t have any plot significance.

5) Claire is annoying. All she is doing is complaining about how her dad died. Micha lost both parents and is bitching less. Also, her plot over the last two episodes was useless. She said she was going to expose the Company, then her dad told her not to, and now she won’t. Totally useless cycle

Still love the show and can’t wait for it to return

Sylar’s gonna be wicked in season 3. ooooooohhhhh i can’t wait to see what power’s he’ll run into….And guys….Sylar doesn’t want/need a team. He’ll just take any and all powers he can find. He has all his powers back and that makes him a formidable opponent.

Peter’s got sweet control over his abilities now. Even radiation…let’s see what he can do next season!!!!!!

I´ve heard that IF the strike ends before xmas, they will resume shooting new episodes around February and the new episodes would air on April.

I think the strike is ruining TV for everybody, including the writers. It sucks hardcore. They want more money, nothing wrong with that. But at the same time they are fighting for what they want, they are also punishing the audience and everybody in the industry as a side effect. People are getting fired all over the place.

Now back to heroes…I love the series as a whole. But last night’s episode was clearly rushed. Average at best and definitely not good enough for the 4 month hiatus that will follow. Still my favorite show on TV. At least they have the strike to blame. Lost make it´s audience wait for 8 months to show something new.

I dont think Sylar “eats their brains”. He just needs to see “how it works” in the brain as he understands how things work. In the episode “kindred” you can see that sylar didnt eat Candice’s brain..he just looked at it and tried to understand the genetic pattern. Also the back of the head seems to be where everything is..eg when sylar killed peter with the glass and it was lodged in the back of the head, same with claire with the branch and linderman. Sylar also opened the back of Candice’s brain to take her power.

Good to see sylar finally back with his powers..hopefully he will have candice’s ability of ilusion.

Nathan petrelli will survive because he received the blood from the original Kensei to recover from Petrelli’s Napalm explosion injury, therefor the bullets wont kill him unless they hit his head.
The guy that shot at Nathan is the new character for the 3rd volume and seems to have the hability to pass unknown by the crowd because when the police arrives after the shooting he pass by them and they dont stop him, beside the Police psych, no one notices him.
Adam (the original Kensei) will return after the cemitery guard digs his grave due to the suspicious bury that has no record in the files.
The “Community” had another virus sample guarded in another place and will be released no matter what they do.
Sylar will join forces with Adam (the original Kensei) and they will try to rule the world.
I dont have anymore information reguarding the volume 3 for now but i can promisse that will be very interesting.
One last advise, if you noticed, every peak in the future from Hiro, The Painter, Sylar and Peter Petrelli was fullfilled, even when Hiro tryed to save his father, he couldnt do it, the referred “Bomb” that should have killed the city wasnt really a bomb but instead the virus anihillation itself, notice that when they go to the future, that date is the same date when Peter lost his love. Every future peaks will come true and only Adam (the original Kensei) can stop it as he is the only one that has the most pure regenerative blood and that can save all the people.

Now to answer one peculiar question from Lexindro:”What did Angela Petrelli mean with “Now you’ve opened Pandora’s Box…” ???”
She meant that when they (The Community) shot at Nathan, they were exposing themselfs even more (since the Police Psychic already made them believe Nathan’s speech) and that she knew that Nathan had healing power and they would broadcast the event worldwide, spreading the truth even more, making almost impossible for the Community and the Special Humans be safe, Human race isnt tolerant before the Humans with powers, therefor they will fight back and try to destroy them at all cost, leading to world war aka pandora’s box effect.

Cant wait for season 3.

That will be one of the questions we will have to wait for to be answered in volume 3.

oh my god, the can…how original and scary.
I looked up pandora’s box for a reference and it actually sounds the foreground for heroes.
In the story, fire was stolen from the gods and given to humanity, and the box itself contains all the evils in the world.
Fire like power, evils like villains (obviously) sounds like heroes is getting mythological, lets just hope now the team has a solid idea on where heroes is going, and knows not to break the pace, season 3 should learn from the previous season’s mistakes, and it should be great.

Here’s my big theory:
“Pandora’s box” gateway to all evils.

Nathan has been shot but who i dont know, but angela seems afraid and when she speaks on the phone she seems to be agreeing, and there has been no true evidence of father petrelli’s death other than her word, which proves more often to be fickle.
I believe that the father is alive, and that there is something twisted about him…evil, the way he seems in the photo, blurred, back then happy, hes the founder of the law company, he uses kensei’s symbol, and there is very little known about him.
I believe he is alive, and hiding, and now that they have shot nathan…he is going to reveal himself for his son’s revenge, hence angela’s fear and agreement…

Sylar obviously does have a power. It is the ability to see what makes things “tick”, or as I believe he said what is wrong w/ them. Also, Hiro’s dad definitely had a power. He is one of the original company like Linderman and Adam. I always wanted to know what it was though.

see things tick? you make it sound like theres a manual in the back of everyones brain. and all he has to do is read it and then knows how to do it. see i dont believe that. Dr. Surech has been looking at all those genetic stuff and nowhere does it tell him how to do those things. It’s genetic, you have to have it attach to your genetics somehow to do it.

also, Peter had developed the power to regenerate from Claire (the Cheerleader) a long time ago. so he has always had the ability to regenerate.

^^^ I Just found that… so i guess thats how it works, but it still is a little flakey to me.

I am sure Peter has met Linderman, which means he can also heal. Also, the company can use Nathan, so I am sure he will have the same fate as Noah. The Company keeps Nathan alive, so Peter and Matt keep quiet.
Sylar does not only look at the brains, because the brain is always missing from the victims. I don’t think he takes it home to study either. So, he must have a way to absorb it or he eats the piece of the brain that generates these powers. His body must then mimic the Genetic Code.
I think the old generation took some vow to never use there powers or had there powers turned off.
Next season we will find out what is Sylar’s larger purpose. The company kept him alive for a reason. I can’t imagine he would continue with his Volume 1 Storyline. Maybe with the rise of the Villains there will be reason for him to make an alliance with the heroes.

Hey nathan, yes Peter Petrelli will be able to live forever if his head wont be injured, also clair has the same power than adam does but Clare is more “inpure” since Adam is the only one that has the most pure regenerative power since 400 years ago.

If Adam can’t die, in the dark future of season 1 where is he? And how can villain unificate if Sylar wants to take every power? He will try to kill them all!

Here in England Volume I is only just finishing tonight on TV!! …. Volume II was mint… but why was it so short? only 11 episodes rather than 23??? Whats this about a writers strike?? Hey if they want writers i’ll happily step up… and i’ll do it for free!! lol… why does no one think sylar is an ace baddy? he rocks mann… he looks so eeery and closet serial killer…. no way should they axe him…. (cant imagine him in star trek tho?) So does anyone reallly know when were gonna get to see volume III? or is there actually still half of volume II left and this is just wierd little teaser? so many questions!!

Example the first time Hiro went into the future he travelled 3 months, and that was before he went missing for 4 months. Another time he travelled forward 5 years. So what do you mean - glimpses of the future are always of the same date?

Get it straight……………………..Peter cannot heal anyone. Its all about the blood. The reason Claire and Adam can heal because it is in their DNA. Peter’s DNA is to replicate other powers he has come across. Not to heal. For Peter to heal he has to mentally tell himself to heal.

Okay, a few things here I’ve picked up on.

First of all, Adam being able to live forever and Claire having the same ability. If you think back to the episodes with Hiro back in the past with Adam, Adam could only heal like Claire at the time. Now what I noticed in volume two “Generations” is that the powers can evolve. Just like Adams evolved into eternal life, and Matt can now do what his father could do, which is implant thoughts into peoples minds (essentially controlling them) and dropping them into nightmare states, like he did his own father. Generations showed the powers can evolve into greater things, and I think we’ll be seeing more of this in our heroes in Volume 3.

There appears to be a good chance that it was Bennett that shot Nathan, whether they’ll want to bring him back though would be risky. It’d be better to leave Peter going on a rampage, probably making him “grey” meaning he can lean towards either side, the good or the bad depending who he’s with.

I’m pretty sure we’ll see a few fights between Sylar and Peter, if only peter had that girls memory ability from Volume 1 (Hiros other love interest, notice how he gets all the girls? :P) Too bad its with Sylar though.

Now onto the “Pandora’s box” mention, I figured this can mean one of two things. Since Matt (As mentioned before by someone) already made the press believe Nathans story, it is likely the media will run the story all over the world, and anyone ever taken by the company will know who did it. This in my opinion will create the “Villains” of Volume 3, knowing they are a select few with powers. However the down side to this would be Heroes becoming Xmen, something I do not wanna see.

The other meaning that can be taken from the Pandora’s box reference is the obvious one, Peter going insane and taking the company down by storm. But the writers are good, very good and I don’t think they’ll do this without having a more subtle, surprising storyline hidden in peters motives.

This is just speculation though, I think its gearing up to be a good volume, I’m not sure how they could have ran with the virus storyline that well in all honesty but ah well, roll on Volume 3!

this is not true when peter was found in cork in ireland in the shipping container he used his electirc powers and he had no memory of anything then, he did’t even no his name. he also used his telekinesis, his healing powers and painted the futre when he was in ireland and he had no memory of anythign then

1)if adam is so dangerous, why not u put a camera to watch him from surveillance room? and why do u put peter next to him? are u crazy? why dont u put camera to monitor two of them? so u prevent peter not to take haitian pills
2)Sureshhh are u crazy? poor sap? why do u claim sylar for anti-virus? and show him the injection? he wont kill u unless he get the cure; but u gave him injection. think if elle hadnt came to rescue them, sylar eventually kill all three(moly,suresh,maya). Suresh is the man who needs to be eliminated.. whats ur problem men? why do u point out the cure to sylar?
3)how can adam be dangerous? just because he lived 400 years.. thats crap? is claire dangerous? she always run away from trouble? if so why adam is dangerouos? as we seen that hiro can easily stop adam by teleporting..

Did anyone notice how the pulverized virus kinda seems to be absorbed by Peter? What if the virus is now sealed inside Peter’s body (who can’t die anyway) taking away his abilities? What if the title “powerless” is not referred to Sylar (who gets his powers back by the end of the episode) but to Peter?

I think its good Nathan got shot for the protection of the heroes, people would really freak out the way they did in “Five Years in the Future” that could totally ruin things, like everything! That would be a huge mistake!

First of all get a clue. Pandora’s Box is basically general knowledge and if you had to look it up you’re either 13 or an idiot. Second of all, stop with the conspiracy theories. Pandora’s Box is simple. Peter’s pissed and may even turn evil in his quest for revenge. I think Volume 3 will focus around Peter’s fight to balance himself and at some point we may even see a possible union with Sylar and Adam to achieve his revenge.

Whether it end with Peter’s death or his redemption remains to be seen…

I think what Angela means is, now that Nathan is dead there is nothing that will stop Peter (if he decides to go evil). Peter knows that he is the most powerful of them all and with Nathan gone Peter doesn’t have his “conscience” to help keep him on the right path.

I love the fact that Adam is entombed, but, I guarantee that this will change Hiro forever. Did you notice his demeanor and the way he talked to Ando at the end of “Powerless”. But, Hiro will remain a good guy.

I think if they bring Jessica back (or when rather) there is going to have to be a Suresh injection involved. Maybe she survives the explosion but her vitals are marginal. So, when Suresh finds this out he rushes to her aid. Gives her the injection to “cure” her but because of Maury’s mind trick the only person that comes out is Jessica. I think this would give the writers the ability to have Jessica run wild for a volume and then be either taken down by the company or fixed by Matt.

I think that fans will be REALLY dissappointed if Nathan does not return but I think they should leave him dead for a while so that Peter can develop some more. Then in a mid-volume twist Nathan appears and tries to convince Peter that the company has had him and helped revive him.

I am almost certain that Noah shot Nathan… Company can get people to places quickly and Noah is morally gray. Why wouldn’t he shoot Nathan if it would protect his family.

It will be sad when they kill off Micah in the next volume but that is the spark that “St. Joan” needs to turn her into a super hero because she will feel responsible for his death and will want to do what Micah would have done (save the world).

And I have a theory about the Petrelli Family Secret…..
I think Angela and Dallas were Peter and Nathan’s adopted parents. This is why we haven’t seen a power from either of them. Dallas we know doesn’t have a power (because of online novels) and Angela hasn’t “really” shown us hers. Plus it would make sense she is all about the company and protecting their secrets at any cost…. sounds like Noah’s convictions… so I think that Kaito Nakamura, Angela & Dallas Petrelli are all adopted parents…. that fit in the “morally gray” category. Remember from the GNs and from Bob..”We always pair one super to one normal, it’s a balancing act to make sure what needs to happen does.”
Then the true villians “the company” will be exposed.

Remember that time in Season 1 where Claire got some wood stuck in her brain? Or when Peter was stabbed in the brain by a piece of glass? But when the pieces were removed it healed as usual I think as long as something isn’t in the way, anything can be cured. OR… Maybe the bullet somehow didn’t reach H.R.G’s brain?

I don’t think you can get volume two yet. I don’t think volume two will be for sale until volume 3 his done, because volume 2 and volume 3 are both season 2. They were just broken into two parts. You’ll have to wait to buy volume 2&3 together for the complete season 2 of heroes??? I think, I really don’t know anything. I’m just going of what I’ve read from various sources.

the abilities are in the brain,a specific part of the brain,there is no coming back from someone taking your head comleatly off,beacause if you do that abviously you got that part of their brain.but i do think if you knew where it was like sylar does, you could shoot them there or somthing and they would die.

you guys really need to listen better.peter probably will live forever,but he got that from claire.the healing ability didnt evolve.when people age their organs(skin,liver,heart,etc.)start having problems your skin starts wrinkeling your heart gets weaker,all different kinds of stuff.well eventually one of those things kills you.well,since adam can heal his body restors itself and boom!just like new!the reason you age a little(adam is 30 so obviously he didnt stay the way he was when he was born)is beacause geting older isnt bad,its when you hit the point were you are no longer growing and geting stronger,that your body starts working backwards(geting weaker,shrinking,less hair.

Pandora’s box is a reference previously used, so yes perhaps it is more or less common knowledge, but as many would agree ‘common knowledge’ is common not precise.
In future, just to balance my own thoughts, peter wouldnt turn evil, hes just experienced a story arc that expressed a similar stage, redemption or not a volume called ‘villains’ is a focus on villains, much like generations was a focus on the previous heroes, and genesis was a focus on beginnings…
next time, feel free to criticise, but attempt to reference heroes as a start and suggest something not suggested…no one gets any further with people agreeing with other people, because otherwise we’d be stuck on a thought forever.

also I highly doubt nathan is dead if they just keep bringing people back with superblood. If you noticed there has been noone that as been harmed AFTER recieveing the blood so it is’nt determined if its a one shot deal or you keep the ability forever. which means its a possiblity that noah, nathan, mya, and yes sylar are now immortal. but there is also nothing that says they are. the scene just stopped after nathan got shot you don’t get to see if he died or not… and every reference to him said he got shot not that he even died in the first place. maybe the intentions were’nt even to kill him. they could after all just have aimed for each one of their heads.

during that conference parkman did’nt make anyone believe anything he just simply made everyone want to be at this conference non of them prolly even know why they are there in the first place they just had the thought in there head that this is a good story but they don’ tknow why. the assassin would infact have to be a super because he blatanly walks calmly down the hallway as police rush in to make sure noone leaves.
