is everyone sure that it will take as long as 4 months to come back on. is there a date or is that just a guess that everyone has bought into? what is all this about a strike? i couldn’t believe it was only 11 episodes long i was really enjoying it!

mabee pandoras box is the virus was it actually distroyed? peter didnt really dispose of it properly he just let it crumble and fall to the ground?

about the virus case i don’t think that if you nuke something it is possible to resist,
maybe it was fake and they are going to release it afterwards,
don’t forget that mama Petreli told Peter that his brother was one of the first victims of the virus.

I´ve heard that IF the strike ends before xmas, they will resume shooting new episodes around February and the new episodes would air on April.

I think the strike is ruining TV for everybody, including the writers. It sucks hardcore. They want more money, nothing wrong with that. But at the same time they are fighting for what they want, they are also punishing the audience and everybody in the industry as a side effect. People are getting fired all over the place.

Now back to heroes…I love the series as a whole. But last night’s episode was clearly rushed. Average at best and definitely not good enough for the 4 month hiatus that will follow. Still my favorite show on TV. At least they have the strike to blame. Lost make it´s audience wait for 8 months to show something new.

1. So let me get this straight….. Sylar never had any powers right? but the way he gets them is by “eating the brain of a person who does have them”? And do we actually know how everybodys powers came to be? was it just genetics?

2. And if Hiro has Powers, then his dad should have right? and the same about Peter and Nathen…..

4. Now since Peter can absorb others powers….. can he absorb the powers that Sylar steals? So basicly he can do evything Sylar can do and more…… and cant peter take people’s memories and stop people from using their powers since he was near the Hachin?

I dont think Sylar “eats their brains”. He just needs to see “how it works” in the brain as he understands how things work. In the episode “kindred” you can see that sylar didnt eat Candice’s brain..he just looked at it and tried to understand the genetic pattern. Also the back of the head seems to be where everything is..eg when sylar killed peter with the glass and it was lodged in the back of the head, same with claire with the branch and linderman. Sylar also opened the back of Candice’s brain to take her power.

Good to see sylar finally back with his powers..hopefully he will have candice’s ability of ilusion.

Nathan petrelli will survive because he received the blood from the original Kensei to recover from Petrelli’s Napalm explosion injury, therefor the bullets wont kill him unless they hit his head.
The guy that shot at Nathan is the new character for the 3rd volume and seems to have the hability to pass unknown by the crowd because when the police arrives after the shooting he pass by them and they dont stop him, beside the Police psych, no one notices him.
Adam (the original Kensei) will return after the cemitery guard digs his grave due to the suspicious bury that has no record in the files.
The “Community” had another virus sample guarded in another place and will be released no matter what they do.
Sylar will join forces with Adam (the original Kensei) and they will try to rule the world.
I dont have anymore information reguarding the volume 3 for now but i can promisse that will be very interesting.
One last advise, if you noticed, every peak in the future from Hiro, The Painter, Sylar and Peter Petrelli was fullfilled, even when Hiro tryed to save his father, he couldnt do it, the referred “Bomb” that should have killed the city wasnt really a bomb but instead the virus anihillation itself, notice that when they go to the future, that date is the same date when Peter lost his love. Every future peaks will come true and only Adam (the original Kensei) can stop it as he is the only one that has the most pure regenerative blood and that can save all the people.

Now to answer one peculiar question from Lexindro:”What did Angela Petrelli mean with “Now you’ve opened Pandora’s Box…” ???”
She meant that when they (The Community) shot at Nathan, they were exposing themselfs even more (since the Police Psychic already made them believe Nathan’s speech) and that she knew that Nathan had healing power and they would broadcast the event worldwide, spreading the truth even more, making almost impossible for the Community and the Special Humans be safe, Human race isnt tolerant before the Humans with powers, therefor they will fight back and try to destroy them at all cost, leading to world war aka pandora’s box effect.

Cant wait for season 3.

That will be one of the questions we will have to wait for to be answered in volume 3.

oh my god, the can…how original and scary.
I looked up pandora’s box for a reference and it actually sounds the foreground for heroes.
In the story, fire was stolen from the gods and given to humanity, and the box itself contains all the evils in the world.
Fire like power, evils like villains (obviously) sounds like heroes is getting mythological, lets just hope now the team has a solid idea on where heroes is going, and knows not to break the pace, season 3 should learn from the previous season’s mistakes, and it should be great.

i dont understand whet the authors mean by “disturbing”, is it the injection part that looks like taking drugs? hmm.. i thought there’s an additional scene where sylar test open someone’s head and eat their brain on the spot, coz THAT might be disturbing. hahaha!

Here’s my big theory:
“Pandora’s box” gateway to all evils.

Nathan has been shot but who i dont know, but angela seems afraid and when she speaks on the phone she seems to be agreeing, and there has been no true evidence of father petrelli’s death other than her word, which proves more often to be fickle.
I believe that the father is alive, and that there is something twisted about him…evil, the way he seems in the photo, blurred, back then happy, hes the founder of the law company, he uses kensei’s symbol, and there is very little known about him.
I believe he is alive, and hiding, and now that they have shot nathan…he is going to reveal himself for his son’s revenge, hence angela’s fear and agreement…
