THE HUNT CONTINUES AS MATT AND PETER GET CLOSER TO EXPOSING THE TRUTH — EMMY AWARD-WINNER ZELJKO IVANEK, JUSTIN BALDONI AND DAN BYRD GUEST STAR — After receiving a tip from “Rebel,” Matt (Greg Grunberg) and Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) race to “Building 26” to rescue Daphne and recover files that will expose the government’s plans for those with abilities. Claire (Hayden Panettiere) finds help from an unlikely source in smuggling Alex (guest star Justin Baldoni) out of the city. As Sylar (Zachary Quinto) and Luke (guest star Dan Byrd) continue their road trip, Sylar begins to have memories of his father that lead him to the truth about his mother. Meanwhile, “The Hunter” (guest star Zeljko Ivanek) puts his own agenda into action with an explosive surprise for one of our heroes. Jack Coleman, Adrian Pasdar and Cristine Rose also star. Randall Bentley, Ashley Crow and David Lawrence XVII also guest star.

This season is awesome. There are so many different ways they could end this. I heard that slyar and peter are going to have a showdown and they said “we wont like the outcome”. ohh snap. i wish heroes was on year round. SPOILERS BELOW!!!!

is HRG the “rebel”?

i think the rebel is angela and hrg, they clearly arn’t finished together
rebel might be Micah, cuz he can “talk” to tha machines (claire got mesage back very quckly) and he might see in to the computers what they are planing (he knew abaut alex geting chased)
The rebel is a confusing concept.
It’s either someone with resources and the ability to tell the future, or someone who can control electronics/see all data. There’s no way they would be able to know who is on the list and who is nearby otherwise.
I doubt it’s Angela or HRG, if Angela is having HRG infiltrate the operation she wouldn’t sabotage him or draw attention to Claire. HRG wouldn’t have told Hiro and Ando about Matt. Angela’s shown she is part of the “greater good” company thinking, she had no problem feeding an innocent person to Sylar last season to gain his trust, I doubt she would go out of her way to save people who could breathe underwater.
Unless it’s a new character, signs are kind of pointing to Micah, but he’s so young and he wasn’t that powerful before, I have a hard time picturing him working all this out. It could be him though because he would be able to both hack the database of targets and assignments remotely, and see Matt get captured by HRG but not see him get rescued by Pete.

rebel is micah. but who cares, i want to see whos going explosive in DC!!!! when i saw that painting this last episode, all i could think was season 1…
so exciting.
Just gonna throw this out there.
Perhaps what we are watching is the immutable past and “Five Years Gone” from S1 is in fact the present. When Hiro went back in time and warned Peter, the outcome was only a change in the variables (location and people directly involved) surrounding the “future” and the eventually destruction of a large city.
Anyone else think the background music sucks in nowadays heroes?
I mean… the music at the end of Coldwars was ridiculus, something from the mastersystem era.. ?
I loved the music ending volume 4 ep1 though
Rebel is Micah. Claire was texting while she was at the dining table with HRG, Sandra and Lyle.
DC exploding. Why is it that in every season, they’re trying to stop some sort of explosion?
By the way it’s Matt who goes all explosive.

Its Matt Parkman that was attached to what seemed like pipe bombs .. seriously WTF .. This should be interesting enough to see why would Matt want to destroy DC .. unless its to send a message to DC .. “LEAVE US THE FUCK ALONE!!”

The Rebel has to be someone working from the inside of the Government .. i agree Micah would be a great match .. i was doing the Istory with Racheal Mills and she was contacted by Rebel too .. just seems like its more than a 10 year kid .. i know he smart and all .. but this is above his lvl .. unless he has some help .. Angela seems like a possible leader but she seems more occupied in something bigger .. maybe its part of her plan to destroy DC .. season 1 she was willing to blow up New York City .. so this is just my theories .. once again

WRT Matt and the pipe bomb, I think it’s one of two things:
(1) He’s trapped by the hunter in a building and the pipe bomb trick (along with a dead man’s switch) is the only way he’ll be able to escape without being shot.
(2) He’s trying to get into an area (perhaps to stop the DC bomb) and the pipe bomb trick (along with a dead man’s switch) is the only way he’ll be able to get into that area without being shot.
WRT, the Rebel, we’ve already been given a clue.
The identity of the Rebel will be revealed in “Cold Snap” according the the NBC Blurb (http://heroeswiki.com/Spoiler:Cold_Snap). Micah is *not* mentioned as appearing, but Eric Doyle is mentioned as is a new actress, Swoosie Kurtz (aka Millie) who is an old friend of Angela.
From the people who will appear in the episode, we can eliminate anyone who could not have possibly been the Rebel since that person was present when a message was received. That leaves Angela, Eric Doyle, and Millie. I really doubt it’s Eric Doyle (although it would lead to an interesting back story…..), so it’s likely the other two. Given that Angela has to get help from an old friend, Millie, I’m putting my money on Angela being the Rebel.
OTOH, it might be Millie that warned Angela, and the reason the Rebel’s identity is revealed is that Millie told her friend.
The rebel is really Angela.No one realizes but wat do you think she does in her spare time.She’s spying also,but for the right cause
