that guy looks nothing like the haitian. and what are you all talking about with peter having the haitian’s ability? nothing has lead us to believe that.. the only power he refers to on page 6 is angela petrelli’s power: dreaming the future, then he vanishes.
So claire can grow back just about anything. It’s been a while since I’ve read the novel but didn’t Peter say something along the line of ‘I won’t make you forget this time’? If he is not trying to be the Haitian then why would he say that?
