After returning from Vietnam, Linderman travels the country doing odd jobs and searching for a place to call home. When Linderman meets Linda Tavara, he remembers what it feels like to fall in love after years of being away at war. Linderman’s fear of entrusting others is realized when he finds out that Linda has been waiting for him.

Anyway, nice chapter. This is probably why Linderman became friends with Arthur Petrelli. He went to N.Y because he figured that it was people like him (people with powers) in that book, and Arthur happened to be the one he saw first in it.
Zexy, he didnt become friends with Arthur by seeing his name in a book… He had met him in war and they survived together
Perhaps, Arthur has a power. So who was the lady who told her about daniel? Onl the military and arthur would know. Maybe Adam and Angela were working together before daniel joined their mini group [not the company]?
Daniel, Bob, and Linda seem to indicate that Arthur is special.
