After being home schooled and kept like a prisoner all her life, Linda starts to become restless.She soon discovers that she is able to see bands of energy surrounding living things, and the more powerful they are; the more Linda is drawn to them.

well bennett was saved from his daughters blood
linda had the ability to see and absorb peoples aoura (life force) and in the case of people with abilities/powers she would absorb those too. think of rogue from x-men. only rogue couldn’t see peoples aouras. i also think that ida is probably molly’s great grandmother.

@Misty yes its true anything could happen but… thats pretty messed up if they bring someone who isn’t able to be killed even when burnt to death. we already have 3 people (so far) that cant die… do we really need another one that’s more immortal?
for bennett, he doesn’t need his brain to become alive, this only applies to the rest of our heroes because they actually need their brain to use their powers (the brain controls everything… that’s why sylar eats people’s brains… jk =] ). Bennett got the blood to heal his brain. therefore, if claire blows her head off and can’t heal on her own, peter can use his blood to heal her and vice versa… unless they both got their heads blown off at the same time than they will be screwed. other than that, it’s pretty impossible for them to die.

That might not be true… If I remember correctly he wanted the killing to stop. So maybe he did this by resurrecting her.

she didn’t just get hit with a shovel, she got burnt to death and it showed her skeleton
The point here is that the hability that she absorvered is the power that Mackenzie Perrin has in the fan creation show “Incidental Heroes”. Could this be a kind of tribute to this fan show?
