Uhm… is it just me.. or… in that picture with Hiro stabbing Sylar doesn’t it look like Sylar has his brain-eating-bib on?

It’s not nathan, the person depicted in the comic is wearing the same jacket as the painting that Isaac painted of Sylar killing him. Plus….those eyebrows are huge like Sylar’s not like Nathans.

Yeah – Nathan does look like Sylar on the cover, which started me thinking…
At the end of “Five Years Gone,” Hiro has that comic-book image of him sticking the sword in someone he thought was Sylar. But what if the person Hiro stabs – the person depicted in the comic as wearing a suit and a five-o’clock shadow, is Nathan?
That would explain why Hiro and Nathan are together on the EW cover.

Those are some pretty awful shots of Nathan and Sylar…. in fact, anyone else think Nathan kinda looks like Sylar in that picture?

Like, unless mr Adrian Pasdar was on vacation so they stuck Sylars face on Nathans stunt double…?

Hiro and Sylar should have been on one cover.
And Linderman with Nathan on the other.
that=sense!

If you put those covers side-by-side, they merge in a single picture. The background was painted by Tim Sale, who is the same artist who used to paint Isaac's art, and (now that Isaac is dead), will draw Peter's paintings (since Peter absorbed Isaac's power. In the pastJeph Loeb (Heroes co-creator, writer of many episodes) and Tim Sale worked together on graphic novels (what used to be called "comic books".) The best -IMHO- sample of their collaboration is : "Batman: The Long Halloween" that has just been re-released in hard cover / absolute edition by DC Comics. It's a splendid story, with gorgeous art and I wholeheartly recommended it to every Heroes fan.

There is some subtle stuff going on in the Niki/DL cover, like a reflection of Jessica (or the other way around) and her holding a “Missing” flyer with Micah’s picture on it. Pretty sweet.

However, I don’t particularly like the grouping in most of them. Claire/HRG and Niki/DL make sense. But I think I would have like to have seen Peter with Hiro, Nathan with Linderman, and Sylar with Mohinder and Matt (that last one being a subtle homage to 5 Years Gone).

i really hope hiro gets to sylar, but we already know he doesnt kill sylar unless all of quintos appearances in season 2 are flashbacks
