I’m pretty sure Elle would have some sort of combat traning so her power cant be used, however having a fight against someone who can’t die, bit of a disadvantage there.

Pouring water on Elle doesn’t weaken her power, it acts as a conducor which means the electricity won’t zap out of her it just electricutes herself and stops her from hurting people if she aims at them.
