Spoilers from Kristin

Here’s the latest Heroes Season 2 spoilers from E!Online’s Kristin:

Tina in Twenty-Nine Palms, California: Heroes! Tell me about Heroes!

Claire’s new boyfriend has something in common with one of her dads.

Petra in Miami: Can you tell us anything about the new Heroes?

Okay, we’ll stop teasing you. Claire’s new boyfriend can fly, and for one particular romantic getaway he picks her up and carries her to the Hollywood sign atop Mt. Lee. Also, according to our source, Claire is still very much a teenager and has been sneaking out of the house to hang out with her new fella.

Alessandra in Oklahoma City: Anything good on Heroes?

If all goes according to plan, one of your favorite Heroes will appear in the third ep of Pushing Daisies. He (yes, it’s a he) even brings one of his “powers” with him.

“The Bennets” talk Heroes Season 2

2 Comments 21 July 2007

This week at NBC’s TCA (Television Critics Association) Press Tour party, tv.ign.com’s staff members were able to speak to Jack Coleman and Hayden Panettiere about their characters, Noah and Claire Bennet, and what’s to come in Season 2.

Here’s the highlights:

About shooting Season 2 so far, and the Bennets’ storyline:

Panettiere: “Wonderful. It’s been really, really, really fun. It’s been great.”

Coleman: “The Bennet family has relocated; I can’t tell you exactly where. It’s a new world. The secrets they keep from each other are new secrets. The old secrets have all been divulged. We’re not repeating old ground, but there’s old ghosts and old habits that are about to rear their ugly head in a very dramatic way.” [The entire family was together again at the start of the season] “in a very difficult, awkward circumstance, that they all have to try to deal with and it gets pretty sticky pretty quickly.”

As for the bigger picture of the Heroes world:

Panettiere: “We find everyone four months from where we left of. We’re not sure who’s alive and who’s dead, and yadda yadda. There’s a lot of things that have happened in those four months, so we’re going to find out about that. But Claire’s trying to be a normal girl again. She’s fighting to find that inner teenager in her.” [Claire will discover that] “the irony of it is no matter where you go, everything is kind of always the same. Everyone kind of looks the same.”

Cheerleader outfit during Season 2:

Panettiere: “Possibly. Possibly! I wouldn’t say goodbye to the cheerleading outfits just yet. She is ‘The Cheerleader.” [...] “except maybe this season, she might actually do some cheering! I’ve told the producers ‘We need to talk about this cheering thing!’”

About the success Heroes achieved in the past year:

Coleman: “Taking the whole entirety of the last twelve months, it is pretty staggering. It’s funny because it happens in increments so you don’t see the snowball building the way it has been. But nobody knew the show was going to be what it is. I think everybody suspected it had a chance to be successful, but not on its way to being an international brand. We’re doing great – all around the world it’s doing really well. We’re about to go all over the world to promote it. It’s ridiculously exciting.”

Big special effects and prosthetic makeup scenes in Season 2:

Panettiere: “Oh, I’m sure! She is the indestructible cheerleader, so you assume she’ll be at the front of most of that action stuff.”

Spoilers….What we know so far about “Five Years Gone…”

77 Comments 25 April 2007

So, everyone is excited about Episode 20. “Five Years Gone” is the appropriate title for the episode, with the original title being “String Theory,” subsequently the title of graphic novel 30. So, for those who don’t feel like trudging through the online Heroes labyrinth, I’ve compiled a list of spoilers for the new episode. Comment on the bottom if you know something we don’t know.

Peter has a bunch of new powers (given, from the promo). Here is the updated list:

  • phasing
  • telekinesis
  • pre-cognition
  • flight
  • invisibility (I’m guessing that this one will be important and that we haven’t seen the last of Claude)
  • time-travel
  • super-strength (from when he’s kissing Jessica)
  • regeneration
  • he should also have telepathy from meeting Matt, and
  • he also has the metaphysical connection with Nathan, and lastly
  • his prophetic/”everywhere eye” dream

To sum it up: Peter is going to be one powerful guy. And he’s teamed up with Hiro, and possibly Jessica from the looks of it. Posts to heroesrevealed.com say that this band of united Heroes is called the Freeworld, but that is at the moment unconfirmed. Cute, innocent Hiro is now the world’s most wanted terrorist (and perhaps Peter is second?). This Hiro went back in time to try to stop the bomb, who was originally Sylar. But instead of stopping the bomb, he turned the bomb into his best friend. In the graphic novel, we know that future Hiro finds Peter Petrelli on the subway because he trusts future Peter (because he is so powerful and the previews show that they are friends and perhaps live together-Isaac’s loft with the timeline). If you had one chance to save the world, wouldn’t you pick the person you trust the most? And so what if he’s the strongest, too?

Heroes episode 19 .07% two new sneak peek videos

2 Comments 23 April 2007

In the first of the two newest videos, aired by NBC during last weekend’s ‘Heroes Marathon’, we witness a very moving moment: Nathan holds Peter’s dead body and, while he does so, Claire walks in.

The second video is part of the Linderman/Nathan meeting sequence.
Here Linderman explains Nathan why the explosion is important and why, in his point of view, the large amount of casualties is unimportant.
