Greg Grunberg is on the USS Enterprise Crew

4 Comments 19 March 2007

According to MovieHole.com, Greg Grunberg will be joining new Star Trek crew. His role hasn’t been revealed yet, however I think that, we’ll see him as a good guy,.. Maybe a space-ship pilot, who’ll be eaten by a mysterious monster in an undiscovered galaxy.

I knew as soon as J.J Abrams got aboard the new “Star Trek pic that he’d be wanting to bring a few old friends with him – it was a no-brainer that Greg Grunberg, who has appeared in everything Abrams’ has done (including his honeymoon video), would snag a role; though to date, it hasn’t been revealed who the “Heroes star will play, just that he will play someone – its just been a matter of trying to ‘which friends’ and for ‘which parts’?

Isaac’s paintings, actually tremendous graphic artist Tim Sale’s paintings, going up for auction. NBC has decided to auction some full-size autographed limited editions prints of original paintings. The first auction will start at 6 p.m. PAC on March 26 and close at 12 a.m. PAC on March 28. (via TvSquad)

Vivi Zigler, Executive Vice President NBC Digital Entertainment and New Media, announced in a press release that NBC was proud of this event as it would not only allow fans a chance to own a piece of the hit show but also benefit the Epilepsy Foundation. This foundation was chosen because Heroes’ cast member Greg Grunberg is highly involved with it since his son Jake suffers from epilepsy.

NBC.com will hold two different auctions. Each auction will feature two full-size autographed limited editions prints and drawings of artwork used in the show, which includes “Exploding Man,” “Eclipse,” “Claire on the Stairs” and “Hiro and T-Rex.” The first auction will start at 6 p.m. PAC on March 26 and close at 12 a.m. PAC on March 28. The second will be held at the same times but from April 2 to April 4.

Greg Grunberg, Interview

Sidekicks and Frozen Yogurt

2 Comments 28 February 2007

Greg Grunberg

I know it’s little bit strange title for Greg Grunberg Interview, but you’ll understand when you read it. The A.V. Club made a great interview with Greg, they mostly talked about Greg not Matt Parkman..

… I started a frozen-yogurt delivery business called Yogurt Runners, and I would send fellow actors out in the afternoons, to all the agencies and studios around town, and the hair salons, and we would sell nonfat frozen yogurt that was prepackaged. And that way, I could go on auditions during the day and sell frozen yogurt in the afternoon, and still make a living…

The A.V. Club: When we decided to put together a sidekick-themed issue, you immediately came to mind as a good person to talk to, even though you’ve graduated from those roles lately.

Greg Grunberg: You know, as much as I’ve graduated, I love sidekicks. For me, it’s the greatest position to be in, because, first of all, you always need a sidekick. It’s always that familiar face that you can count on. I’ve been J.J.’s sidekick go-to guy, and for me, as far as work’s concerned, if you’re a sidekick, you’ll work forever. I love it, I always love it. What’s funny is on Felicity and Alias as well, even going back to Seinfeld, on all those shows, sidekicks are the ones you remember. They always have the zinger, they’re always the support system, or they get all the information. They’re the shoulder to cry on. So they’re always good characters to play.
